Description

Deekelfaß
Die Neuerung betrifft ein mit einem Kunststoffdeckel verschließbares Kunststoff-Faß, das eine mit Abstand unterhalb der Faßöffnung aus dem Faßmantel vorstehende Bordur aufweist, gegen die der radial nach außen abgewinkelte Außenflansch des auf den Öffnungshals des Fasses aufgestülpten Deckels bei auftretender Axialbelastung anliegt, und die über einen die Bordurunterfläche einerseits und Oberfläche des Außenrandflansches andererseits umgreifenden Spannring mit dem Deckel verbunden ist, wobei ein über den Deckelboden vorstehender, in die Faßöffnung eintauchender Innenrand gegen den Öffnungshals anliegt und ein zwischen Deckelinnenrand und Deckelaußenrand eingelegter Dichtring gegen die Oberkante des Öffnungshalses angepreßt ist.
Die aus dem Faßmantel vorspringende Bordur wirkt jedoch bei auftretender senkrechter Stapellast, wie sie beim Aufeinanderstapeln mehrerer gefüllter Fässer entsteht, wie eine Dehnungsfalte, die unter Belastung in Achsrichtung des Fasses ungleichmäßig zusammengedrückt wird. Hierdurch kann der Faßstapel umstürzen und der Deckel aus seiner Dichtungslage gelöst werden.
Man hat zur Verstärkung der Faßbordur über den Bordurumfang gleichmäßig verteilte, halbkalottenförmige Einbuchtungen vorgesehen. Hierbei geht die Stapellast nahezu stufenlos vom Öffnungsrand in den Faßmantel über. Ein Zusammendrücken der Bordur ist hierbei weitgehend ausgeschaltet.
Nachteilig hierbei ist jedoch, daß die Einbuchtungen nicht beliebig tief gestaltet werden können, um die Deckelbefestigung sicherer zu machen. Auch die Radialsteifigkeit der Faßbordur wird durch die Einbuchtungen verringert. Deshalb muß der Bordurbereich durch Materialzugabe in Radialrichtung stabilisiert werden. Nach dem Entleeren des Fasses setzen sich darüber hinaus Rückstände in der Bordur fest.

Es handelt sich um die Aufgabe, diese Nachteile bei gleichzeitiger Fertigungserleichterung weitgehend auszuschalten.
Diese Aufgabe wird neuerungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß die Faßbordür nach dem Blasvorgang in der im Bordurmittelbereich horizontal geteilten Blasform durch Zusammenfahren der Formhälften in Achsrichtung des Fasses zu einem geschlossenen Flansch zusammengedrückt ist, wobei die sich gegenüberstehenden Bordurinnenflächen miteinander verschweißt sind.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der Neuerung beispielsweise dargestellt.
Es zeigt:
Fig. 1 einen Ausschnitt aus dem Faßkopf mit aufgesetztem Deckel längs ges chnitten.
Aus dem Faßbauch 1 steigt der Faßkopf allmählich an und geht in einen nahezu senkrechten Ringbereich über, an den sich der radial nach außen gerichtete> geschlossene Flansch 3 anschließt. Aus dem Innenrand des Flansches 3 steigt der Öffnungshals 5 nach oben an, der beim Ausführungsbeispiel einen geschwungenen Verlauf einnimmt. Auf den Öffnungshals 5 ist der Deckel 2 aufgestülpt, dessen radial nach außen gerichteter Außenrandflansch 8 mit einem Spannring 4 gegen die Bordur 3 gespannt ist. Dabei wird der zwischen den Deckelaußenrand 6 und Deckelinnenrand 7 eingelegte Dichtring 9 gegen die Oberkante des Öffnungshalses 5 gepreßt.

  1. Schutzanspru c h :
    Mit einem Kunststoffdeckel abschließbares Kunststoff-Faß, das eine mit Abstand unterhalb der Faßöffnung aus dem Faßmantel vorstehende Bordur aufweist, gegen die der radial nach außen abgewinkelte Außenrandflansch des auf den Öffnungshals des Fasses aufgestülpten Deckels bei auftretender Axialbelastung anliegt, und die über einen die Bordurunterfläche einerseits und Oberfläche des Außenrandflansches andererseits umgreifenden Spannring mit dem Deckel verbunden ist, wobei ein über den Deckelboden vorstehender, in die Faßöffnung eintauchender Innenrand gegen den Öffnungshals anliegt und ein zwischen Deckelinnenrand und Deckelaußenrand eingelegter Dichtring gegen die Oberkante des Öffnungshalses angepreßt ist, d a d u r Ch gekennzeichnet , daß die Faßbordur nach dem Blasvorgang in der im Bordurmittelbereich horizontal geteilten Blasform durch Zusammenfahren der Formhälften in Achsrichtung des Fasses zu einem geschlossenen Flansch (3) zusammengedrückt ist, wobei die sich gegenüberstehenden Bordurinnenflächen miteinander verschweißt sind.
