Iη den Formeln 11 bis VI11 steht Hai für Fluor, Chlor,
Brom oder Jod, insbesondere aber für Chlor oder Brom, R3' für Alkoxy, Äthylthio oder Phenoxy,
und Me stellt ein einwertiges Metall, insbesondere Natrium oder Kalium, dar.
Als säurebindendc Mittel kommen beispielsweise folgende Basen in Betracht: Tertiäre Amine, wie
Triäthylamin, Dimethylanilin, Pyridinbasen, anorganische Basen, wie Hydroxide und Carbonate von Alkali-
und Erdalkalimetallen, vorzugsweise Natrium- und Kaliumcarbonat.
Die Umsetzungen können in gegenüber den Reaktionsteilnehmern inerten Lösungs- oder Verdünnungsmitteln
durchgeführt werden. Hierfür sind beispielsweise folgende geeignet: Aromatische Kohlenwasserstoffe,
wie Benzol, Toluol, Benzine; Halogenkohlenwasserstoffe wie Chlorbenzol, Polychlorbenzole, Brombenzol;
chlorierte Alkane mit 1 bis 3 Kohlenstoffatomen; Äther, wie Dioxan, Tetrahydrofuran; Ester,
wie Essigsäureäthylester; Ketone, wie Methyläthylketon, Diäthylketon, Nitrile, etc.
Die Ausgangsstoffe der Formeln III und IV sind neu und können z. B. durch Halogenieren von in
5-Stellung unsubstituierten 3-Hydroxy-triazol-Dcrivaten
oder Estern hergestellt werden.
Die Verbindungen der Formel I weisen eine breite biozide Wirkung auf und eignen sich daher zur
Bekämpfung von verschiedenartigen pflanzlichen und tierischen Schädlingen und als Pflanzenregulatoren.
Die Verbindungen der Formel 1 besitzen vor allem insektizide und akaiizide Eigenschaften und können
gegen alle Entwicklungsstadien wie z. B. Eier, Larven, Puppen, Nympfen und Adulte von Insekten und
Vertretern der Ordnung Akarina eingesetzt werden, überraschenderweise haben Verbindungen der Formel
I eine günstige Wirkung gegen Aphis fabae, während die aus der DT-PS 12 99 924 bekannte
Verbindung der Formel

Die Wirkstoffe der Formel eignen sich auch zur Bekämpfung von Vertretern der Gruppe Thallophyta
wie z. B. Viren, Bakterien und Pilzen. So besitzen sie fungizide Eigenschaften gegen phytopathogene Pilze
an verschiedenartigen Kulturpflanzen.
Mit den neuen Wirkstoffen können an Früchten, Blüten, Laubwerk, Stengeln, Knollen und Wurzeln
auftretende Pilze eingedämmt oder vernichtet werden, wobei dann auch später zuwachsende Pflanzenteile
von derartigen Pilzen verschont bleiben. Die Wirkstoffe der Formel I sind insbesondere gegen die folgenden
Klassen, angehörenden phytopathogenen Pilze wirksam : Oomycetes, Zygomycetes, Ascomycetes, Basidiomycetes,
Deuteromycetes.
Ferner können die neuen Wirkstoffe zur Behandlung von Saatgut, Früchten, Knollen, zum Schutz vor
Pilzinfektionen beispielsweise durch Brandpilze aller Art, wie Usrilaginales, z. B. Ustilago-, Tilletia-, Urocystis-,
Turburcinia- und Phoma-Arten, eingesetzt werden.
Außerdem können Verbindungen der Formel 1 zur Bekämpfung von pfianzenpathogenen Nematoden
eingesetzt werden. Die Verbindungen der Formel I können für sich allein oder zusammen mit Trägern
und/oder anderen Zuschlagstoffen eingesetzt werden.
Zur Applikation können die Verbindungen der Formel I zu Stäubemitteln, Emulsionskonzentraten,
Granulaten, Dispersionen, Sprays, zu Lösungen und Aufschlämmungen in üblicher Formulierung verarbeitet
werden. Ferner sind Viehbäder und Sprühgänge, in denen wäßrige Zubereitungen verwendet
werden, zu erwähnen.
Die Wirkstoffe können in den folgenden Aufarbeitungsformen vorliegen und angewendet werden:
Feste Aufarbeitungsformen:

Der Gehalt an Wirkstoff in den oben beschriebenen Mitteln liegt im allgemeinen zwischen 0.1 und 95%.

Granulat
Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Granulates werden die folgenden Stoffe verwendet:

91 Teile kaolin (Korngröße 0,3 bis 0,8 mm).

Die Aktivsubstanz wird mit Epichlorhydrin vermischt und mit 6 Teilen Aceton gelöst, hierauf wird
Polyäthylenglykol und Cetylpolyglykoläther zugesetzt. Die so erhaltene Lösung wird auf Kaolin aufgesprüht
und anschließend das Aceton im Vakuum verdampft.
Spritzpulver
Zur Herstellung eines a) 40%igen, b) und c) 25%igen, d) 10%igen Spritzpulvers werden folgende Bestandteile
verwendet:

Sprühmittel
Zur Herstellung eines 5%igen Sprühmittels werden die folgenden Bestandteile verwendet:

Herstellung der Ausgangsmaterialien
a) l-Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy-l^-triazol
a) l-Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy-l^-triazol
127 g l-lsopropyl-3-h\droxy-1.2.4-triazol und 276 ml Triethylamin werden in 12(X) ml absolutem
Alkohol gelöst. Die Lösung wird trüb gelb. Unter Kühlung (26 bis 30 C) werden innerhalb von 30 min
106,5 g Chlor (getrocknet durch konz. Schwefelsäure) eingeleitet. Dabei wird die gelbe Lösung zuerst klar.
Nachher fällt Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid als kristallines Produkt aus. Nach 1 h weiterem Rühren wird
dieses abfiltriert. Das Filtrat wird am Rotavapor zur Trockne eingeengt. Den braunen Rückstand löst man
in 1 1 Wasser und 1 1 Äther. Das Gemisch wird ausgeschüttelt und im Scheidetrichter getrennt. Die Wasserphase
extrahiert man 3mal mit je 500 ml Äther. Die vereinigten Ätherphasen werden über Natriumsulfat
getrocknet, das Trocknungsmittel abfiitriert und das Filtrat zur Trockne eingeengt. Der hellbraune Rückstand
wird in 500 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff mit Aktivkohle gelöst, worauf die Muttelauge auf '/3 Volum
eingeengt und dann gekühlt wird. Der Wirkstoff kristallisiert aus und wird im Vakuum 15 h bei 60 C
15 Torr getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 96,3 g (60% d. Th.). Fp.: 103 bis 105 C.
b) 1-Phenyl-5-chlor-?-hydroxy-1.2.4-triazol
32.2 g l-Phenyl-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol und 40.5 g Tnäthylamin werden in 300 ml absolutem Alkohol
gelöst. Unter Kühlung werden 21.3 g Chlor eingeleitet (20 bis 30 C). Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid wird abfiltriert,
und das Filtrat wird am Rotavapor eingeengt.

Man löst 32,2 g l-Phenyl-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-tiiazol und 40,5 g Triethylamin in 300 ml Dimethylformamid.
Unter Eiskühlung werden bei 20 bis 30 C 21,3 g Chlorgas eingeleitet. Nacher filtriert man das
entstandene Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid ab und de- ·.$
stillierl das Lösungsmittel im Vakuum ab. Der Rückstand wird in 300 ml Wasser aufgenommen und
4mal mit 200 ml Äther ausgezogen. Die gesammelten Ätherextrakte werden über Natriumsulfat getrocknet
und nach Abfiltrieren des Lösungsmittels im Vakuum eingeengt. Den Rückstand kristallisiert man aus
Acetonitril um.
Ausbeute: 15,0g (38% d.Th.), Fp.: 146 bis 147 C.

d) l-Äthyl-5-chlor-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol
In eine Lösung von 75,5 g l-Äthyl-3-hydroxy-1,2,4-triazol
und 185 ml Triäthylamin in 800 ml absolutem Äthanol werden 71,5 g Chlor eingeleitet.
Die exotherme Reaktion wird unter Kühlung auf 20 bis 30'C gehalten. Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid fällt
aus. Nach der Chloreinleitung wird noch 2 h weiter bei Raumtemperatur gerührt. Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid
wird abfiltriert und das Filtrat eingeengt. Man löst den Rückstand in 500 ml Äther und 500 ml
Wasser, trennt ab und extrahiert die Wasserphase noch 3mal mit 300 ml Äther. Die Ätherextraktc
werden über Natriumsulfat getrocknet. Das Trocknungsmittel wird abfiltriert und das Filtrat eingeengt.
Der Rückwand wird aus einem Gemisch aus 400 ml Xylol und 250 ml Ligroin umkristallisiert und im
Vakuum getrocknet.
Ausbeute: 28,7 g (29%). Fp.: 108 bis 1100C.
e) l-Isobutyl-5-chlor-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol
241 g l-Isobutyl-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol und 475 ml Triäthylamin werden in 2100 ml absolutem Äthanol
gelöst, und 182 g Chlor werden unter Kühlung auf 20 bis 300C eingeleitet. Die Lösung wird noch IV2 h
bei Raumtemperatur gerührt, worauf das Triäthylamin-hydrochlorid abfiltriert wird. Das Filtrat engt
man am Rotavapor ein, löst den Rückstand in 1000 ml Äther und fügt 1000 ml Wasser zu. Die Phasen werden
getrennt und die wäßrige Phase 3mal mit 300 ml Äther ausgezogen. DieÄtherphasen werden getrocknet
und eingeengt. Der Rückstand wird aus Ligroin/Xylol
umkristallisiert.
Ausbeute: 104,7 g (34% d. Th.), Fp.: 84 bis 860C. 6g
Auf analoge Weise werden folgende Verbindungen hergestellt:
l-Methyl-3-hydroxy-5-chlor-l,2,4-triazol,
1 -n-Propyl-S-hydroxy-S-chlor-l^^triazol (26 bis

l-n-Butyl-S-hydroxy-S-chlor-l^Atriazol (41 bis
450C),
0 l-lsopropyl-S-brom-S-hydroxy-l^^-tnazol
63.9 g l-Isopropyl-l,2,4-lriazolyl-(3)-benzoat vom Smp. 85 bis 870C (hergestellt aus l-lsopropyl-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol
und Benzoylchlorid) werden zusammen mit 53,4 g N-Bromsuccinimid und 0,2 g
Azoisobutyronitnl in 550 ml Tetrachlorkohlenstoff 48 h zum Rückfluß erhitzt. Nach dem Abkühlen auf
00C wird der ausgefallene Niederschlag abgenutscht und in 600 ml Wasser auf 75°C erhitzt. Der ungelöste
Anteil wird abfiltriert und im Vakuum getrocknet. Man erhält 40 g l-Isopropyl-5-brom-l,2,4-triazolyl
(3)-benzoat in Form hellbeiger Kristalle vom Smp. 125
bis LWC.
361 g dieses Zwischenproduktes werden mit 1950 ml 2N-NaOH versetzt und 16 h auf 6O0C erwärmt. Die
auf 20°C abgekühlte Lösung wird mit Aktivkohle über hochgereinigte Diatomeenerde klärfiltriert und
das Filtrat mit 390 ml konz. Salzsäure in 2000 ml Wasser angesäuert. Man erhält l-Isopropyl-5-brom-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol
in Form weißer Kristalle mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 155 bis 1570C.
g) 1 -Isopropyl-S-fluor-S-hydroxy-l ,2,4-triazol
16,2g 1 -Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy-l^^-triazol
werden zusammen mit 29 g trockenem Kaliumfluorid und 150 ml Sulfolan 16 h auf 160 bis 200DC erhitzt.
Nach dem Abdampfen des Lösungsmittels im Hochvakuum wird der Rückstand mit 10%iger Essigsäure
versetzt und mit Essigsäure-äthylester extrahiert. Der nach dem Abdampfen des Essigesters zurückbleibende
Festkörper wird aus Wasser umkristallisiert, wobei das l-Isopropyl-5-fluor-3-hydroxy-l,2,4-triazol in
Form weißer Kristalle mit einem Schmelzpunkt von 80 bis 95° C erhalten wird. Zur weiteren Reinigung kaan
das Produkt aus einem organischen Lösungsmittel umkristallisiert werden.
a) O,O-Diäthyl-O-[l-isopropyl-S-chlor-1,2,4-triazolyl-(3)]-thiophosphat
22,5 g l-Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy-l^^triazol
und 19,3 g Kaliumcarbonat in 500 ml Methyläthylketon werden 2l/2 h am Rückfluß erhitzt und an-
schließend auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt. 26,3 μ Diäthylthiophosphorsäurechlorid werden im Verlaufe
von 15 min zugetropft. Die Lösung wird 3 h am Rückfluß
erhitzt. Man kühlt ab und filtriert mit Hilfe von hochgereinigter Diatomeenerde die Salze ab und
wäscht mit Methyläthylketen nach. Das klare Filtrat wird im Vakuum eingedampft. Der Rückstand wird
zur Reinigung über eine kurze Kieselgelsäule mit 2% Methanol in Chloroform als Laufmittel Chromatographien.
Das Lösungsmittel wird nachher im Vakuum abdestilliert, und man erhält die Verbindung der

nochmals l'/2 h am Rückfluß erhitzt. Anschließend
wird sie über Nacht bei Raumtemperatur ausgerührt. Mit Hilfe von hochgereinigter Diatomeenerde filtriert
man die Salze ab und dampft das klare Filtrat im Vakuum ein. Man erhält die Verbindung der Formel

d) 0,0-Methyi-[ i -isopropyl-S-chiorl,2,4-triazolyl-(3)]-thiophosphat
Man heizt 33 g l-Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy
1,2,4-triazol und 27 g Kaliumcarbonat 2 h in 400 m Methyläthylketon am Rückfluß. Die Lösung wird au
Raumtemperatur abgekühlt, und 32 g Dimethylthio phosphorsäurechlorid wird zugetropft. Nachher wir<
der Ansatz 5 h tei 60°C gerührt und über Nacht be Raumtemperatur weitergerührt. Die Salze werdei
abnitriert und das Filtrat im Vakuum eingeengt. De ölige Rückstand wird über eine kurze Kieselgelsäuli
mit Chloroform als Laufmittel chromatographiscl gereinigt.
Man erhält die Verbindung der Formel
c) 0-Äthyl-[l-isopropyl-5-chlor-l,2,4-triazolyl-(3)]-methylaminothiophosphorsäureester
32,2 g l-Isopropyl-S-chlor-S-hydroxy-l^.^triazol
und 27,6 g Kaliumcarbonat wurden 2 h in 400 ml Methyläthylketon erhitzt am Rückfluß. Der entstandene
Brei wurde auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt und 34,7 g Thiophosphorsäure-O-äthylester in 100 ml
Methyläthylketon zugetropft Der Ansatz wurde nochmals 2 h am Rückfluß erwärmt und anschließend bei
Raumtemperatur über Nacht ausgerührt. Die Salze wurden mit Hilfe von hochgereinigter Diatomeenerde
abfiltriert, und das Lösungsmittel vom Filtrat im Vakuum abdestilliert. Der Rückstand wurde chromatographisch
über eine kurze Kieselgelsäule mit Chloroform als Eluent gereinigt.

e) O,O-Dimethyl-[l-isopropyl-5-chlor-1,2,4-triazolyl-(3)]-phosphat

thyläthylketon) 2 h am Rückfluß erhitzt und nachhei auf Raumtemperatur abgekühlt. 28,9 g Dimethy'phos
phorsäurechlorid in 100 ml Methyläthylketon werder zugetropft und die Lösung wieder 2 h zum Rückflui
erwärmt. Anschließend läßt man den Ansatz übei Nacht bei Raumtemperatur ausrühren. Die Salze
werden dann mit Hilfe von hochgereinigter Diato· meenerde abfiltriert, und das Filtrat im Vakuuir
eingeengt. Der ölige dunkle Rückstand wird zui Reinigung über eine kurze Kieselsäue mit Chloroform;
1 % Methanol chromatographiert.

Α| Insektizide Fraßgift-Wirkung
Tabak- und Kartoffelstauden wurden mit einer (),05%igen wäßrigen Wirkstoffemulsion (erhalten aus
einem 10%igen emulgierbaren Konzentrat) besprüht.
Nach dem Antrocknen des Belages wurden die Tabakpflanzen mit Eulenraupen (Spodotera litoraüs)
und die Kartoffelstauden mit Kartoffelkäfer-Larven (Leptinotarsa decemlineata) besetzt. Der Versuch wird
bei 24°C und 60% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit durchgeführt.
Die Verbindungen gemäß Herstellungsvorschrift im obisen Test Fraßgift-Wirkung gegen Spodoptera
litoraüs und Leptinotarsa decemlineata.
B) Systematisch-insektizide Wirkung
Zur Feststellung der systemischen Wirkung wurden bewurzelte Bohnenpflanzen (Vicia faba) in eine
0,01 %ige wäßrige Wirkstofflösung (erhalten aus einem 10%igen emulgierbaren Konzentrat) eingestellt. Nach
24 h wurden auf die oberirdischen Pflanzenteile Blattläuse (Aphisfabae) gesetzt. Durch eine spezielle
Einrichtung waren die Tiere vor der Kontakt- und Gaswirkung geschützt. Der Versuch wurde bei 24" C
und 70% relativer Luftfeuchtigkeit durchgeführt.
In den obigen Versuchen zeigten die Verbindungen gemäß Herstellungsvorschrift insektizide Fraßgift-Wirkung
und systemisch-insektizide Wirkung.
Beispiel 2
Wirkung gegen Chilo suppressalis
Wirkung gegen Chilo suppressalis
Je 6 Reispflanzen der Sorte Caloro wurden in Plastiktöpfc, die einen oberen Durchmesser von I 7 cm
aufwiesen, verpflanzt und zu einer Höhe von /irk;i 60 cm aufgezogen. Die Infestation mit Chilo suppressalis-Larven
(L1; 3 bis 4 mm lang) erfolgte 2 Tage nach der Wirkstoffzugabe in Granulatform (Aufwandmenge
8 kg Aktivsubstanz pro Hektor) in das Paddy-Wasser.
Die Auswertung auf insektizide Wirkung erfolgte 10 Tage nach der Zugabe des Granulates.
Die Verbindungen gemäß Herstellungsvorschrift wirkten im obigen Test gegen Chilo suppressalis.
Sterilisierte Komposterde wurde homogen mit einem Spritzpulver, enthaltend 25% Wirkstoff, gemischt,
so daß eine Aufwandmenge von 8 kg Aktivsubstanz pro Hektar resultierte.
Mit der behandelten Erde wurden junge Zucchettipflanzen (Cucumis pepo) in Plastiktöpfe eingetopft
(drei Pflanzen pro Topf mit einem Durchmesser von 7 cm). Jeder Topf wurde unmittelbar nachher mit
5 Aulacophora femoralis-Larven bzw. Pachmoda- oder Chotophila-Larven infestiert. Die Kontrolle
wurde 4, 8, 16 und 32 Tage nach Einsetzen der Larven
durchgeführt.
Bei 80 bis 100% Abtötung nach der ersten Kontrolle erfolgte eine neue Infestation mit je 5 Larven
in das gleiche Erdmuster mit 3 neuen Zucchettipflanzen. Wenn die Wirkung geringer als 80% war,
verblieben die restlichen Tiere in der Testerde bis zur nächstfolgenden Kontrolle. Bewirkte eine Substanz
bei einer Aufwandmenge von 8 kg/ha 100% Abtötung.
dann erfolgte eine Nachprüfung mit 4 bzw.
<■**■ 2 kg Aktivsubstanz, ha.
Die Verbindungen gemäß Herstclliingsvorschrift
zeigten im obigen Test gegen Aulacophora femoralis-. Paehmoda- und Chlortophila-Larven.

Wirkung gegen Zecken
A) Rhipicephalus bursa
A) Rhipicephalus bursa
Je 5 adulte Zecken oder 50 Zeckenlarven wurden in ein Glasröhrchen gezählt und für 1 bis 2 min in 2 ml
einer wäßrigen Emulsion aus einer Verdünnurigsreihe mit je 100, 10, 1 und 0,1 TpM Testsubstanz
getaucht. Das Röhrchen wurde dann mit einem genormten Wattebausch verschlossen und auf den
Kopf gestellt, damit die Wirkstoffemulsion von der Watte aufgenommen werden konnte.
Die Auswertung erfolgte bei den Adulten nach 2 Wochen und bei den Larven nach 2 Tagen. Für jeden
Versuch liefen 2 Wiederholungen.
B) Boophilus microplus (Larven)
Mit einer analogen Verdünnungsreihe wie beim Test A wurden mit je 20 sensiblen bzw. OP-resistenten
Larven Versuche durchgeführt. (Die Resistenz bezieht sich auf die Verträglichkeit von Diazinon.)
Die Verbindungen gemäß Herstellungsvorschrift wirkten in diesen Tests gegen Adulte und Larven von
Rhipicephalus bursa und sensible bzw. OP-resistente Larven von Boophilus microplus.

Akarizide Wirkung
Akarizide Wirkung
Phaseolus vulgaris (Buschbohnen) wurden 12 h vor
dem Test aufakarizide Wirkung mit einem infestierten BlattstUck aus einer Massenzucht von Tetranychus
urticae belegt. Die übergelaufenen beweglichen Stadien
wurden aus einem Chromatographiezerstäuber mit
den emulgieren Testpräparaten bestäubt, daß keil
Ablaufen der Spritzbrühe eintrat. Nach 2 bis 7 Tagt wurden Larven, Adulte und Eier unier dem Binokula:
auf lebende und tote Individuen ausgewertet und da:

Wirkung gegen Bodennematoden
Wirkung gegen Bodennematoden
Zur Prüfung der Wirkung gegen Bodennematoder wurden die Wirkstoffe in der jeweils angegebener
Konzentration in durch Wurzelzellen-Nematoder (Meloidogyne Arednaria) infizierte Erde gegeben unc
innig vermischt. In die so vorbereitete Erde wurden ir einer Versuchsreihe unmittelbar danach Tomatensetzlinge
gepflanzt und in einer anderen Versuchsreiht nach 8 Tagen Wartezeit Tomaten eingesät.
Zur Beurteilung der nematoziden Wirkung wurder 28 Tage nach dem Pflanzen bzw. nach der Saat die ar den Wurzeln vorhandenen Gallen ausgezählt.

In diesem Test zeigten die Wirkstoffe gemäß Herstellungsvorschrift
eine gute Wirkung gegen Meloidogyne Arenaria.
In den folgenden Tabellen sind von einigen erfindungsgemäß zu verwendenen Verbindungen Angaber
über die Ergebnisse der beschriebenen Versuchsreiher sowie die Ergebnisse von Vergleichsversuchen mil
zum bekannten Stand der Technik gehörenden ahnliehen Mitteln zusammengestellt.
