Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung sind Monoazofarbstoffe, die in Form der freien Säure der Formel

Geeignete Alkylgruppen R1 , R3 und R4 sind solche mit 1-8
C-Atomen, insbesondere unsubstituierte C1 —C4-Alkylreste,
wie beispielsweise -CH3 , -C2H8 , -1-C3H7 und -n-C4H9 .
Geeignete Alkylgruppen R3 sind solche mit 1-8 C-Atomen,
insbesondere C1-^-Alkylreste, die duroh -CN, -CONH2 ,oder
-COOH weitersubstituiert sein können, wie beispielsweise -CH3, -C2H5, -C3H7, -C4H9, -CH2CH3CN, -CH2CH2CONH2, -CH2-CH2COOH.
Geeignete Arylreste FL sind insbesondere gegebenenfalls weitersubstituierte
Phenyl- oder Naphtnylreste, beispielsweise
Phenyl-, Naphthyl-, p-Biphenyl, 4-Chlorphenyl-, 2,4-Dichlorphenyl-
oder 4-Methylphenyl.
Geeignete Alkoxygruppen sind insbesondere solche mit 1 - k
C-Atomen, wie beispielsweise -OCH3, -OC2H5, -OC3H7, -OC4H9.
Der Rest der Diazokomponente A kann außer der definitionsgemäß gegebenenfalls vorhandenen Sulfonsäuregruppe weitere,
sulfonsäuregruppenfreie Substituenten enthalten, beispielsweise -COOH, Halogen, wie Chlor, Brom oder Fluor, -NO2,
-Alkoxygruppen mit 1-4 C-Atomen, wie -OCH3, -OC2H5,
-OC3H7, -OC4H9, -CN ,Alkylgruppen mit 1-4 C-Atomen,
wie -Cf!-,, -CpHt-j -G" H7, -C4H9 und gegebenenfalls substituiertes
Sulfonaraid wie -SO2NH2, N-Alkyl-, Ν,Μ-Dialkyl-, li-Aryl-,
N-Aryl-N-alkyl-, N-Cycloalkyl-, N-Alkyl-iJ-cycloalkyl-, N5N-Dicyeloalkyl-,
N-Aralkyl-, N-Aralkyl-N-alkyl-, i-J-Sulfolanyl-(3)-sulfonamid

C-Atome aufweisen sollen und weitere Substituenten, wie
beispielsweise Hydroxy, Chlor, Brom, Cyan, Alkoxy oder Alkoxy—carbonyl, enthalten können. Geeignete Arylsulfon—
amide sind beispielsweise N-Phenyl- und N-Naphthylsulfonamide;
unter N-Aralkylsulfonamiden seien insbesondere N-Benzyl-
und N-Phenäthylsulfonamide , unter N-Cyeloalkylsulfonamiden
N-Cyelohexyl- und N-Cyclopentylsulfonamide
verstanden. Die Aryl—, Aralkyl— und Cycloalkylreste können ebenfalls weitere nichtionogene Substituenten aufweisen,
wie beispielsweise C1-C4-Alkylgruppen oder Halogen, wie
Chlor oder Brom.
Bevorzugte Farbstoffe im Rahmen der Formel(I) sind solche, die
in Form der freien Säure der Formel

entsprechen, worin R1 , R2 , R3 , R4 und η die oben genannte
Bedeutung haben,
R für Halogen oder Alkyl
und ζ für O, 1 oder 2 steht.
Besonders bevorzugte Farbstoffe sind solche der Formel

Ν,Ν-Diaralkyl-, N-Pentamethylen-, N-SuIfolanyl-(3)-sulfonamide,
die sich von den oben genannten Sulfonsäuren ableiten.
Diese Sulfonamide werden nach literaturbekannten Methoden erhalten, beispielsweise indem man die entsprechend
substituierten N-Acylierten-anilin-sulfochloride mit Aminen
umsetzt und anschließend die Acylgruppe abspaltet bzw. die entsprechend substituierten Nitro-benzol-sulfochloride mit
Aminen umsetzt und anschließend die Nitrogruppe zur Aminogruppe reduziert.
Geeignete Kupplungskomponente^ sind beispielsweise: 2-Methyl-indol, 2-Phenyl-indol, l-Methyl-2-phenyl-indol,
1,2-Dieethyl-indol, l-ß-Cyanäthyl-2-methylindol,
l-ß-Cyanäthyl-2-phenyl-indol, ß-(2-Phenyl-indolyl-l)-propionsäureamid,
ß—(2—Methyl-indolyl-l)—propionsäureamid,
l-(y-Aminopropyl)-2-phenyl-indol, ß-(2-Methyl-indolyl-l)-propionsäure,
2-ß-Naphthyl-indol, 2-p-Diphenylyl-indol, 2^5-Dimethyl-indol,
2,ii-Dimethyl-7-niethoxy-indol, 2-Phenyl-5-äthoxy-indol,
2-Methyl-5-äthoxy-indol, 2-Methyl-5-chlorindol, 2-Methyl-6-chlor-indol, 2-Methyl-5-nitro-indol, 2-Methyl-5-cyan-indol,
2-Methyl-7-chlor-indol, 2-Methyl-5-fluor-indol,
2-Methyl-5-brom-indol, 2-Methyl-5f7-dichlor-indol und 1-ß-CyanHthyl-2f6-dimethyl-indol,

die in der Deutschen Patentschrift 137 117 beschriebene Indol-sulfonsäure bzw. andere, analog zu den in der Deutschen
Patentschrift 137 117 beschriebenen Verfa ren aus 2-Alkyl- bzw. 2-Aryl-indolen hergestellte Indol-sulfonsauren,
beispielsweise 2-Methyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 1,2-Dimethyl-indol-sulfonsäure,
2,5-Dimethyl-indol~sulfonsäure,
l-Äthyl-2-methyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 1,2,5-Trimethyl-indolsulfonsäure,
l-Äthyl-2,5-dimethyl-indol-sulfonsäure, 2-Phenylindol-sulfonsäure,
l-Methyl-2-phenyl-indol-sulfonsäure und
ß-[(2-Phenyl-5-sulfoindolyl-(l)]-propion8äureamid. Es ist wahr=
soheinliek, dȧ zumindest bei den in carbocyclischen Teil
unsubstituierten Indolen die Sulfogruppe bei der Sulfierung nach den in der Deutschen Patentschrift 137 117 beschriebenen
Verfahren in 5-Stellung eintritt.
Die erfindungsgemäßen Farbstoffe eignen sich zum Färben natürlicher
und synthetischer Fasermaterialien, insbesondere zum Färben von Polyamidfasern. Sie liefern egale, ausgiebige, gelbe
bis orange Färbungen von sehr guter Lichtechtheit. Sie ziehen bereits aus neutralem bis schwach saurem Färbebad gut auf
Polyamidfasern auf. Unter Polyamidfasern werden dabei insbesondere solche aus synthetischen Polyamiden wie £ -Polycaprolactam
oder Kondensationsprodukte aus Adipinsäure und Hexamethylendiamin verstanden. Die Farbstoffe werden dabei in
Form der freien Säure oder in Form ihrer Salze, insbesondere der Alkalisalze wie der Natrium- oder Kaliumsalze oder der
Ammoniumsalze eingesetzt. Die oben angegebenen Formeln sind die der freien Säuren.

4,25 g 2-Trifluormethyl-4-chlor-anilin werden t)ei O C in
verdünnter Salzsäure mit l6 g einer 10 feigen Natriumnitrit
Lösung diazotiert. Nachdem der Nitrit-Ueberschuß mit Amido sulf onsäure entfernt wurde, vereinigt man die Lösung des
Diazoniumsalzes mit einer Lösung von 4,75 g 2-Methyl-indol
sulf onsäure in Wasser und puffert etwas mit Natriuma.ee tat
ab. Nach dem Auskuppeln isoliert man den Farbstoff, der in Form der freien Säure der Formel
SO3H
entspricht. Der Farbstoff färbt Polyamid aus schwach saurere oder neutralem Bad in grünstichig gelben Tönen von sehr guter
Lichtechtheit.
3,5 g 2-Trifluormethyl-anilin-4-sulfonsäure werden in verdünnter
Salzsäure mit 10 g einer 10 foigen Natriumnitrit-Lösung
diazotiert. Die Lösung der Diazoniumverbindung wird mit einer Lösung von 2f0 g 2-Methyl-indol in Eisessig ver= '
einigt. Man puffert etwas mit Natriumacetat ab und isoliert den Farbstoff, der in Form der freien Säure der Formel

entspricht durch Absaugen. Der Farbstoff färbt Polyamid au»
schwach saurem oder neutralem Bad in grünstiehig gelben Tönen von sehr guter Lichtechtheit.
0,1 g des Farbstoffs aus Beispiel 1 wird in 100 ml Wasser
heiß gelöst, 5 ml 10 feige Ammoniumacetatlösung zugesetzt
und auf ein Volumen von 500 ml mit V/asser verdünnt. Man geht mit 10 g Polyamidfaser in das Färbebad ein, bringt das
Färbebad innerhalb von 20 Minuten zum Kochen, setzt k ml
10 feige Essigsäure zu und hält eine Stunde auf Kochtemperatur.
Danach wird gespült und bei 70 - 80°C getrocknet. Man erhält eine Färbung in grünstichig gelben fön von sehr
guter Licht- und Naßeehtheit,
Wenn man wie in Beispiel 1 oder in Beispiel 2 verfährt, jedoch als Diazokomponenten die in Spalte I und als Kupplungskomponenten
die in Spalte II der folgenden Tabelle aufgeführten Verbindungen einsetzt, so erhält man ebenfalls wertvolle
wasserlösliche Farbstoffe, die Polyamid aus schwach saurem oder neutralem Bad in gelben Ms orangen lichtechten
Tönen anfärben.

Claims (14)
1.) Monoazofarbstoffe, die in Form der freien Säure der Formel
entsprechen, worin
R- für einen Alkyl- oder Arylrest, Rp für Wasserstoff oder einen Alkylrest,
R-, für Wasserstoff, Halogen oder einen Alkylrest, Ru Tür Wasserstoff, Halogen, die Cyangruppe, eine
Alkoxygruppe oder einen Alkylrest steht, p, m = 0 oder 1, wobei ρ + m = 1 oder 2,
η =1 oder 2, wobei der Benzolkern A weitere von SO-zH- und -OSO-jH-Gruppen freie Substituenten enthalten
kann.
2.) Monoazofarbstoffe, die in Form der freien Säure der Formel

haben und
Rp1 für Wasserstoff oder gegebenenfalls durch -CN, -CONHp
oder -COOH substituiertes C^C^-Alkyl steht.

die SuIfonsäuregruppe in 5-Stellung des Indolrinrrs steht.
10.) Verfahren zur Herstellung von Monoazofarbstoffe!!, dadurchgekennzeichnet,
daß man diazotierte Amine der Formel
(SO3H)p
worin
η = 1 oder 2,
p=0 oder 1 und der Benzolkern
A weitere von SO-,H- und -OSO^H-Gruppen freie Substituenten
aufweisen kann,
