Abstract
1.- Un anticuerpo monoclonal humanizado (mAb) caracterizado porque enlaza y neutraliza el Factor de crecimiento del Hepatocito (HGF) humano. 2.- El mAb de la reivindicación 1, caracterizado porque es un mAb L2G7 humanizado. 3.- El mAb de la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque inhibe el enlace del HGF con el Met en por lo menos un 50%. 4.- El mAb de la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque inhibe la proliferación inducida por HGF en las células Mv 1 Lu. 5.- El mAb de la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque neutraliza todas las actividades biológicas del HGF. 6.- El mAb de la reivindicación 2, caracterizado porque inhibe el crecimiento de un xenoinjerto de tumor humano en un ratón. 7.- El mAb de la reivindicación 6, caracterizado porque inhibe completamente el crecimiento de un xenoinjerto de tumor humano en un ratón. 8.- Un mAb humanizado caracterizado porque su región variable de cadena pesada tiene la secuencia de la Figura 2A etiquetada como HuL2G7. 9.- Un mAb humanizado caracterizado porque incluye una región variable madura de cadena pesada que tiene la secuencia de aminoácido de la Figura 2A etiquetada como HuL2G7, excepto que el primer aminoácido es reemplazado con Gln.10.- Un mAb humanizado de la reivindicación 8, caracterizado porque incluye adicionalmente una región variable de cadena ligera madura que tiene la secuencia de aminoácido de la Figura 2B etiquetada como HuL2G7. 11.- Un rnAb humanizado caracterizado porque incluye regiones variables maduras de cadena pesada y ligera que tienen secuencias de aminoácidos que son idénticas por lo menos en un 90% a aquellas de las Figura 2A etiquetadas como HuL2G7 y de la Figura 2B etiquetada como HuL2G7, respectivamente.
