技术领域

背景技术
[0002]近年来,在润滑剂领域,可生物降解润滑油,作为环境污染-控制措施,受到相当大的关注。在日本,有关这一领域的研究和开发从上个世纪90年代初就已开始并有制造出市售供应产品。然而,可生物降解润滑油至今未得到广泛应用,原因在于与传统矿物油-基润滑油相比成本高,尽管受到高度关注。日本远落后于欧洲国家,在那些国家里可生物降解润滑油的应用已被法律规定为强制性的。
植物油如菜籽油、合成酯和聚链烷二醇已被用作可生物降解基础油。然而,植物油存在热或氧化不稳定性以及供应不稳定的问题尽管成本低,同时聚链烷二醇则存在用于密封材料的适用性差的问题尽管成本低且热稳定性好。因此,尽管合成酯在日本正变得越来越受欢迎,但从成本或氧化稳定性而言,与矿物油基润滑油相比它们依然具有严重弱点。
[0003]日本环境协会具有针对可生物降解液压油的审定标准,名为“ECOMARK”。该审定标准在1998年7月做过重大修改以达到更严格的控制。主要变化如下:

作为可配合位阻酯一起使用的合成酯-基础油,从润滑油组合物的生物降解性的角度考虑可举出除上面提到的位阻多元醇以外的脂族多元醇与上面描述的单羧酸生成的酯。
作为润滑油组合物中的组分(A)使用的合成酯-基础油的运动粘度取决于润滑油组合物的使用目的,一般在40℃介于约10~200mm2/s的范围,优选在10~100mm2/s的范围,更优选在15~80mm2/s的范围,在作为液压油使用的情况下。
合成酯-基础油的酸值优选等于或小于3mg KOH/g,特别优选等于或小于1mg KOH/g,从防止腐蚀设备考虑。另外,对于羟基值没有特别限制,但优选等于或小于50mg KOH/g,特别优选等于或小于20mgKOH/g,从润滑性的角度。

[0020]在本发明润滑油组合物中,加入低碱值磺酸钙作为成分(B)中的组分(b)以便赋予润滑油组合物防锈效果,同时还具有去污和分散功能。该磺酸钙是磺化、烷基-取代的芳族化合物的钙盐。当磺酸钙的碱值过大时,其在合成酯-基础油中的溶解度不足。因此,在本发明中采用低碱值磺酸钙,控制总碱值(TBN)介于0~100mg KOH/g的范围(优选在0~50mg KOH/g的范围)。
低碱值磺酸钙可单独也可以2或更多种的组合形式使用。磺酸钙的加入量介于0.01~2.0wt%的范围,以组合物的总碱量为基准计。当低碱值磺酸钙的数量在上面描述的范围内时,将表现出满意的防锈效果并获得优异的成本与效力之间的平衡。低碱值磺酸钙的用量优选介于0.05~1.0wt%的范围。
[0021]在本发明润滑油组合物中,作为成分(B)中的(c),加入三唑化合物,当作金属活化剂,并赋予润滑油组合物防止对非铁金属的腐蚀作用。三唑化合物的例子是苯并三唑及其衍生物。三唑化合物可单独也可以其2或更多种的组合形式使用。三唑化合物的混入量介于0.01~1.0wt%,以组合物总量为基准计。当三唑化合物的数量在上面提到的范围内时,可表现出满意的防腐蚀效果并获得优异的成本与效力之间的平衡。三唑化合物的混入量优选介于0.05~0.5wt%。
在本发明润滑油组合物中,基础油本身具有与以传统矿物油-为基础的抗磨液压油相当的润滑性水平,而为了进一步改进润滑性,可加入一种特压添加剂和/或抗磨剂。
作为特压添加剂,可使用基于硫或基于磷的特压添加剂。基于硫的特压添加剂的例子是硫化脂肪或油,硫化脂肪酸、硫化酯、多硫化物、硫化烯烃、硫代氨基甲酸酯、硫代萜烯、二烷基硫代二丙酸酯等。在它们当中,硫化脂肪或油、多硫化物或硫化烯烃是优选的。
基于硫的特压添加剂的例子是磷酸酯、(单-、二-或三-)硫代磷酸酯、酸性磷酸的胺盐、(单-、二-或三-)硫代磷酸酯的胺盐、亚磷酸酯、(单-、二-或三-)硫代亚磷酸酯等。
另一方面,抗磨剂的例子是二硫代磷酸锌(ZnDTP)、二硫代氨基甲酸锌(ZnDTC)、硫化的二硫代磷酸钼(MoDTP)、硫化的二硫代氨基甲酸钼(MoDTC)等。
[0022]特压添加剂或抗磨剂可单独也可以其2或更多种的组合使用。另外,这些混合的添加剂的总量介于0.1~5.0wt%,以组合物总量为基准计。当特压添加剂和/或抗磨剂的数量在上面提到的范围内时,表现出抗磨效果的改善,同时获得成本与效力之间极佳的平衡。特压添加剂和/或抗磨剂的用量优选介于0.5~3.0wt%。
除了上面描述的添加剂之外,其它添加剂如粘度指数改进剂、倾点降低剂、无灰分散剂、表面活性剂、消泡剂、破乳剂等也可加入,只要其用量不妨碍本发明效果的发挥。
[0023]下面解释本发明可生物降解润滑油组合物的性能。
润滑油组合物的生物降解度,按照OECD试验准则301C方法的化学物质微生物降解试验测定,是70%或更高(参考生物降解度是60%或更高),并具有优异生物降解性。另外,急性毒力试验的96-h LC50值一般为100mg/L或更高,对生物具有低影响。因此,可以说,该润滑油组合物是一种非常环境友好的润滑油。
还有,粘度指数一般为130或更高,优选140或更高,倾点是-40℃或更低,优选-45℃或更低,并且闪点一般为250℃或更高,优选260℃或更高。上面提到的组分(A)的合成酯-基础油本身的粘度指数是130或更高,因此,通常不需要加入粘度指数改进剂到本发明组合物中。
润滑油组合物具有如上所述如此低的倾点,以致当用它作为液压油时,本发明组合物的低温机器启动性极佳。还有,本发明组合物具有如上面提到的这样高的闪点,致使它具有很高阻燃性并因此,按照消防服务法,它属于VG等于32或更高的安全可燃液体的类别。
[0024]本发明可生物降解润滑油组合物具有优异生物降解性、低生态系统影响、高粘度指数、低倾点、高闪点,在润滑性、氧化稳定性、防止非铁金属腐蚀性以及配合用于密封材料的适用性方面令人满意。因此,它具有在那些不同性能之间极佳的平衡。
该润滑油组合物优选地,例如,作为液压油,即,一种用于动力传递、动力控制、冲击吸收等的动力传递流体,用在液压系统如液压机械或设备中;作为润滑油用于汽车的自动变速器、减震器、驾驶机构如动力转向、齿轮等,金属加工油,例如,切削、抛光或增塑等。
实例
[0025]本发明将通过下面的实例做进一步描述但不限于这些实例。
另外,每个实例中的润滑油的性能系采用下列方法确定的:
(1)一般性能:
(a)40℃的运动粘度:按照JIS K 2283试验方法确定。
(b)粘度指数:按照JIS K 2283试验方法确定。
(c)酸值:按照JIS K 2501试验方法确定。
(d)羟基值:按照JIS K 0070试验方法采用吡啶-乙酰氯方法确定。
(e)闪点:按照JIS K 2265试验方法采用克里夫兰开杯(COC)试验仪确定。
(f)倾点:按照JIS K 2269试验方法确定。
(g)防锈性能:按照JIS K 2510试验方法确定,其中采用60℃蒸馏水,以肉眼观察试验开始24h后的生锈情况。
[0026](2)生物降解性:
生物降解度按照改良的MITI试验方法OECD301C来确定。按照在1998年7月修改的“ECOMARK”审定标准,要求生物降解度等于或大于60%。
(3)对鱼类的急性毒力:
96h后的半致死浓度(LC50),按照JIS K 0102试验方法采用日本medaka(oryzias latipes)确定。按照在1998年7月修改的“ECOMARK”审定标准,要求LC50值等于或大于100mg/L。
(4)润滑性:
(a)Shell四球EP试验(ASTM D2783):确定载荷磨损指数(LWI),根据在包括1800rpm和室温在内的条件下最后的无卡住载荷(LNL)和焊接载荷(WL)值。LWI值越高,耐载荷能力越好。
(b)(a)Shell四球磨损试验(ASTM D2783):在包括1200rpm、294N的载荷、50℃的温度和30min试验时间的条件下确定磨损斑点尺寸。
(c)FZG冲刷试验:测定冲刷载荷台,按照ASTM D5182-91试验方法,在包括90℃、1450rpm、15min试验时间在内的条件下采用A-型机构。
(d)叶片泵试验(按照ASTM D2882):测定叶片和凸轮环磨损程度,采用叶片泵(Vickers公司,V-104C泵),在包括65℃、13.7MPa、1200rpm、60L油体积和约25L/min流率在内的条件下经过250h操作后。
[0027](5)氧化稳定性:
(a)IOT:
测定在40℃的相对运动粘度(试验后运动粘度/试验前运动粘度),其中300mL注满圆筒(45mm直径,500mm长)的样品油在作为催化剂的铜和铁存在下,在130℃和48h,或者150℃和48h,空气吸入量10L/h条件下,接受试验。
(b)高压循环试验:
测定在40℃的相对运动粘度(试验后运动粘度/试验前运动粘度),试验样品在接受下列条件处理以后进行:
泵型号:(UCHIDA-REXROTH“A2FO-10/61R-PPB06”),
泵压力:35MPa,
油流率:13.6L/min,
油温:80℃,
空气吸入速率:1NL/h,
催化剂:铜盘管(1.6mm直径,60m长),以及
试验时间:600h。
另外,在上面描述的试验中,在不限制时间的条件下进行耐用性试验,以测定下列时间之一:当相对运动粘度达到1.1,或者当酸值达到2.0mg KOH/g,或者微孔值达到10mg/100mL样品(其中微孔值被定义为,通过真空过滤以0.8μm膜滤器滤出残渣之后,再以正己烷洗涤并干燥所得到的粉末状残渣的重量),由此确定出使用寿命。
[0028](6)防止对非铁金属的腐蚀
在按照以类似于上面提到的试验(5)的方式进行了600h高压循环以后,测定样品油中的铜(从催化剂上溶解下来)和锌(从管道材料上溶解下来)的数量。在与此平行的方法中,又按照以下程序实施金属浸泡试验:
(a)将100g样品油放入到200mL蛋黄酱瓶子中,
(b)在用标准砂纸#240抛光,以汽油洗涤并干燥之后称取试样的重量,
(c)将一片试样放入到样品瓶中并在100℃在温控浴中加热168h,
(d)取出试样,用废布揩干试样上的样品油,用汽油洗涤,干燥并称重。
此刻,针对对比例6中使用的样品油,对锌试样(1.0mm×26mm×60mm)实施如上面描述的金属浸泡试验,观察到0.47%的重量减轻。
[0029](7)对于密封材料的适用性:
按照JIS K 6258方法,针对丁腈橡胶(NBR)和聚氨酯分别实施100℃和240h,以及120℃和240h的浸泡试验,确定试验前后每种性质的数值改变率:[质量变化率(%),体积变化率(%),硬度变化(无单位),抗张强度变化率(%)和断裂伸长变化率(%)]。
这里,对每种上面提到的性质评估的判断标准如下:
◎(优),○(良),△(一般),×(差)。

(1)制备了组成如表1-1和1-2所示的润滑油组合物,连同市售供应的产品。这些润滑油组合物的一般性质和生物降解性载于表2-1和2-2中。

[0042]本发明可生物降解润滑油组合物包含一种具有优异生物降解性的合成酯-基础油,它具有很好地均衡的性能,包括润滑性能,并且优选用于,例如,作为液压油、汽车润滑油、金属加工油等。
Claims (8)
1.一种可生物降解润滑油组合物,包含(A)合成酯-基础油,后者包含至少50wt%脂族单羧酸与脂族位阻多元醇的位阻酯,该多元醇每分子具有一个或多个季碳原子,且其中季碳原子至少之一具有1~4个键合在其上的羟甲基基团,以及(B)下列成分,(a)0.1~5.0wt%酚类抗氧化剂,(b)0.01~2.0wt%具有低碱值的磺酸钙,和(c)0.01~1.0wt%三唑化合物,并且当按照根据OECD试验准则301C方法的化学物质微生物降解度试验测试时具有60%或更高的生物降解度。
2.按照权利要求1的可生物降解润滑油组合物,其中按照JIS K0102试验方法,日本medaka(Oryzias latipes)急性毒力试验,96-h LC50值等于或大于100mg/L。
3.按照权利要求1或2的可生物降解润滑油组合物,其中粘度指数等于或大于130,倾点是-40℃或更低,并且闪点是250℃或更高。
5.按照权利要求4的可生物降解润滑油组合物,其中脂族位阻多元醇是三羟甲基丙烷、新戊二醇、季戊四醇,或其脱水缩合物。
6.按照权利要求1~5中任何一项的可生物降解润滑油组合物,其中脂族单羧酸是6~22个碳原子的饱和或不饱和单羧酸。
7.按照权利要求1~6中任何一项的可生物降解润滑油组合物,其中作为低碱值组分(B)(b)的磺酸钙具有介于0~100mg KOH/g的总碱值。
8.按照权利要求1~7中任何一项的可生物降解润滑油组合物,它包含0.1~5.0wt%特压添加剂和/或抗磨剂作为组分(B)(d)。
