基本上,供盖原料目的使用而呈卷筒纸形式的此种多层箔积层物,系包括适当塑胶材料的外层,以粘着剂方式固着至一种箔卷筒的两侧面或相反表面上。此种箔卷筒纸一般系由适当金属材料所构成,其可为铝或其类似物,且其中该塑胶薄膜材料层之一,系适合以粘着方式固着(例如藉热封或其类似方式)至该塑胶容器或包装的射出成型材料,此材料系适合将其内容物密封于其中。气泡包装或类似塑胶容器(其具有封盖,呈箔积层物的形状施用于其上),经常会受到潜在伤害性的温度及/或环境状况。当整个包装接受消毒时,即可能为此情况,例如当装在其中的产品欲被采用在医学用途时的情况中;例如,一种譬如隐形眼镜的产品,其系适于包装在无菌食盐水溶液中,并密封在此包装的隔间或孔穴中。
基本上能够确信的是,一般在包装外部所提供的印刷,将安全地抵抗此等上述状况,而不会被完全擦去或甚至仅被部分造成模糊不清。因此,一项重要方面是,应采用适当印刷种类,其不仅在此种不利物理条件下仍保持安定,而且亦会避免任何施加于其上的有害作用。因此,例如,当在积层物的一侧面上构成其外部塑胶薄膜材料层,以具有一种可印刷且通常为透明的本性时;例如,一种聚酯薄膜。目前所采用的印刷型式,并不充分满足工业的严厉要求。因此,利用雷射印刷未必能够提供令人满意的印刷结果,同时热烫印刷会在积层物上产生印压,其对于欲热封或粘结至积层物上的该包装或容器的下层表面部而言,可能会不利地影响其机械密封性质。
因此,本发明系提供一种实施所谓双面印刷,或实际上,印刷在箔积层物外层的两面上的新发明方法。基本上,本发明的双面印刷方法,系包括首先在塑胶薄膜材料的外层的第一个侧面上印刷,该材料较佳为例如聚酯,其中系对该塑胶薄膜材料的侧面或表面赋予印刷,该表面系面向其所粘结的下层金属箔,且其中该印刷系经过反面或其他适当网目彩色印刷的中间物,涂敷至该塑胶薄膜材料上。于此外部塑胶薄膜层的一侧面上完成此印刷后,此塑胶薄膜材料系以粘着方式,以其经印刷的表面,固着或粘结至下层金属箔,例如经由插入一种适当粘着剂。
接着,为在此外部塑胶薄膜材料的相反面或外表面上达成此印刷,故使前述积层箔结构的卷筒纸,前进至一种适当印刷配置。此印刷配置会造成热转印,在预定处所,涂敷至此积层物外部塑胶薄膜层的外表面上,较佳系经由一种陶瓷印刷头的中间物,印刷其他标记,此标记系详细表示有关于装有该箔积层物的包装的特定内容物的资讯。此种涂敷印刷的方法,系以双面方式,提供一种在该外部塑胶薄膜材料的两面上印刷的有效模式,其中该材料较佳可由(但不限于)聚酯所构成,由于聚酯的多孔性,故其性质极适于热转印。此种热转印型式,不会在箔积层物上形成任何印记,但适合抵抗高温及其他不利环境条件,历经相当长时间,而不会有由于在该积层物外侧上印刷所遭遇的任何退化作用。
此箔积层物,其最初系以连续薄片或卷筒纸,由适当供应的卷筒纸或其类似物提供,其亦具有金属箔的相反面,其具有适当粘着剂,以便以粘着方式接触及粘结至其他塑胶薄膜材料,其中此种薄膜材料较佳系由聚丙烯所构成。接着,使后者粘结至一种射出模制成型的塑胶容器或包装上的邻近密封表面,其可由聚丙烯所构成,例如藉热封或其类似方式进行,以形成完整包装结构,如在包装技术上习知者。一种此种类型的“气泡包装”,系揭示于例如美国专利4,691,820中,其系共同归属于本申请案的让受人。
为帮助经过热转印中间物,而于塑胶薄膜材料的外表面上,进行精确且精密定位印刷,故提供一些方式使其能够精密套准塑胶薄膜材料相反表面上的下层印刷。于第一次提及的塑胶薄膜材料的向内或相反表面上所提供,且系位于粘附至箔卷筒纸的积层物内的印刷,可掺入适当印刷范围,其系明确表示指引线,以在藉由位于邻近箔积层物外部的适当光学感测器扫描时,提供印刷套准,以确保其外部印刷。此将确保该热转印系正确地位于所扫描的印刷范围内,于此范围内已委任该热转印,以致在随后将由箔积层物所构成的卷筒纸切成预定片段,而形成容器或气泡包装的盖部份时,于其上所提供关于此产物的印刷资讯,将总是正确地位于所完成的包装上。
再者,本发明亦针对提供一种多层箔积层物,其包括一个外部塑胶薄膜材料层,其系以一种方式在其两面上印刷,以在面向下层箔材料的塑胶薄膜层的一侧面上,提供永久着色的标记与边印。反之,随后在此积层物的塑胶薄膜材料层的外表面上所赋予,且其系经过热转印的中间物而涂敷于其上的印刷,系放置在精密套准先前赋予该外层的相反或向内表面的下层印刷上。
因此,本发明的一项目的,系提供一种双面印刷的新发明方法,或基本上,印刷在多层箔积层物的一层的相反表面上的新发明方法。
本发明的一项更特殊目的,系提供一种如本文中所述印刷方法,其中系实施双面印刷,其方式是,首先,面向下层金属箔且适于以粘着方式固着或粘结于其上的外层(通常为透明塑胶薄膜材料)的一个侧面,系适合以彩色网目印刷,以在塑胶与金属积层后,提供永久标记与彩色背景。接着印刷此塑胶薄膜的外部或相反表面。其系经过热转印的中间物,在与下层印刷呈预定套准位置,印刷在塑胶薄膜的相反表面上。
本发明的一项更特殊目的,系为提供一种具有至少一个外层的多层箔积层物,于该外层的两个侧面上均具有印刷,其系使用根据本发明的印刷方法。
现在可能必须参考下文详述的本发明具体实施例,以及附图;其中:
图1系说明一种用以实施箔积层物的一层的双面印刷的装置的立视侧面图,其包括各种工作站,以从经印刷的箔积层物卷筒纸,形成多个供包装用的盖封闭物;
图2系说明图1装置的顶部平面图;
图3系在放大规格下,说明一种感测器配置,其系与印刷头的操作并用,以实施此箔积层物的双面印刷;
图4系说明适合双面印刷的箔积层物卷筒纸的片段部份;及
图5系在放大规格下,说明沿着图4中的5-5线,经过该箔积层物所取得的截面图。
现在详细参考附图,且尤其是图1与2,其系揭示一种装置10,以将一种由多层箔积层物所组成的连续卷筒纸加工处理成多个盖或覆盖物结构,以供所谓“气泡包装”型式的塑胶容器使用。可将此等容器制成通常为硬质或半硬质形态的射出成型塑胶结构,于正常情况下,其系掺入可容纳产物的孔穴或隔间,以及从此积层物的一部份所构成的盖子,所适合固着或粘结(例如藉热封或其类似方式)的凸缘表面。此装置10通常包括多个坚固地与水平支撑横梁18与20互相连接的垂直骨架构件12、14及16,以建立一个固定不动的支撑骨架,适合装载在支柱22上,静止在适当地板表面上。
于水平横梁26的悬梁延伸物24上,于轴颈上接有一个可旋转结构28,支撑一个由多层箔积层物30的连续卷筒纸所形成的卷筒,如下文关于附图4与5所详述者。
沿着此骨架输送箔积层物30的沿着其纵向路径配置者,为罩框32,于其中系支撑一个印刷头配置34及一个光学感测器单位36。
再者,于此印刷头配置34的下游方向上,沿着此骨架水平范围配置者,系为一种适当切割单元40及各种操作装置42,以将箔积层物30的卷筒纸切断成供容器或包装用的盖或覆盖物。此等特殊工作站及操作配件,系更广泛地详述于有关自箔积层物30形成覆盖物或盖子的各种共待审专利申请案中,因此,不在本文中作更特别详细描述。
藉适当驱动装置(未示出),自可旋转支撑物28抽取,而使箔积层物卷筒纸30退绕,并以多个导辊与张力辊单元46至48、50及52,导引而朝向接近及低于印刷头配置34,沿着装置10的水平范围进行。
该多层箔积层物30系由多个各种材料层所构成,其系以粘着方式互相固着或粘结在一起,如附图4与5中所详细显示者。
回复至图5,多层箔积层物30系包括一个上层50,由一种实质上透明或半透明聚酯薄膜材料所构成,其已预先经由习用平版印刷术,于其下层表面52上,使用适当标记印刷,该标记可呈单色或彩色网目,包括按需要的反面印刷边印,且其亦可包括另一个彩色或印刷层位于其下方,而形成着色或对比背景,例如,白色或任何其他适当颜色。因此位在聚酯薄膜卷筒纸50下方的网目标记及背景,系在内表面52上印刷,当从外部朝聚酯薄膜卷筒纸50的外表面观看时,如附图4中所示,由于聚酯薄膜的透明性,故各种标记与边印可代表公司名称、商标文字、各种装饰与广告事项及印刷资讯,其系一般性地永久对此类型产物提供。虽然在此较佳具体实施例中,系使用习用平版印刷术,但应注意的是,其他形式的印刷程序亦可使用。适当印刷范围52a、52b及52c,可清晰地确认,并从薄膜层50的外部见及。一种箔卷筒纸54(较佳由铝所组成),系邻近聚酯薄膜的下方表面52延伸,且以粘着方式,经由插入一种粘着剂层而固着或粘结至其上,该粘着剂层系由一种干粘性粘着剂56所构成,其可为聚胺基甲酸酯。
此铝箔卷筒纸54的另一侧面或表面,亦可使用类似粘着剂层56的另一粘着剂层58进行涂覆,且其亦由聚胺基甲酸酯所构成。此粘着剂系欲予在铝箔卷筒纸54的下方表面与另一塑胶薄膜层60之间,提供粘着性连接或结合,该塑胶薄膜层可由聚丙烯构成,且该粘着剂系对射出成型塑胶包装或容器的塑胶材料,提供良好密封粘着;例如,经由对其热封或类似方式。除了聚酯外的适当塑胶薄膜,且其为实质上透明者,且可在其两侧面上印刷者,其中可包括低与中密度聚乙烯、EVA共聚物、离子键聚合体、纤维素材料等。
于上层聚酯薄膜层50与粘着剂52之间,形成粘着性结合,以使层50积层至铝箔卷筒纸54上之前,系实施适当印刷。如上文所述的此种印刷,系赋予该聚酯薄膜50的下方表面52,其中如上文所述的标记与边印,系经过网目彩色印刷,于适当取向上涂敷,以致当其粘着性固着或结合至铝箔54时,该标记可从积层物30的上方,经过层50而见及,系呈其正确表示的取向,正如上述美国专利5,691,820中的情况。
当此积层物箔卷筒纸30,于一系列辊46至52上导引,朝向印刷头配置34前进时,光学感测器单元36系适合扫描并决定至少一个印刷范围52a或52b或52c印在下方表面52上的位置,以造成印刷头配置34驱使陶瓷印刷头34a前进而与可应用的印刷范围52a至52c接触,并经过热转印的中间物,印刷适当可改变及可变化的印刷资料,赋予聚酯薄膜50的外表面。此种资料,例如当将此积层物切断成可形成盖子的标笺,供个别包装使用时,可包括适当可改变的批号、到期日、及其他代表装在包装中的特定产品的物理数据;例如,关于隐形眼镜的倍率,该隐形眼镜系储存在包装的孔穴中,同时浸泡在适当保护性无菌食盐水溶液中。
因此,在聚酯薄膜50的下方表面52(此表面系以粘着方式粘结至铝箔卷筒纸54)上所提供的永久标记与边印的最初印刷,系充作确认各种一般化产品及与公司有关的资讯、广告及商标等的永久展示,同时具有至少一个印刷范围,充作藉由热转印在箔积层物30的外表面上,印刷特殊且可变的与产品有关资料的套准版。
前述热转印适合抵抗超过120℃的温度,历经高达半小时期间,当已完成的包装及包含于其中的产品,于彼等条件下接受消毒时,可能会遭遇该温度,但不会以任何方式不利地影响该热转印在箔积层物30外层上的品质与可读性。
箔积层物30可具有整个厚度在约0.07至0.08毫米的范围内,且可以与箔积层物的特定期望应用相称的卷筒纸长度与尺寸的适当卷筒供应。
熟谙此艺者自前文,可变得立即明了,此积层物的外部聚酯薄膜层的双面印刷的利用,可提供无法在此项技艺中获得的利益,此系由于其不需要校准孔及积层物中的记号,故不必采用雷射印刷,后者未必能够提供适当印刷品质;及免除对于热烫印刷的需求,该热烫印刷会在箔积层物中造成刻纹的形成,于是不利地影响其与含有产品的塑胶包装的适切热封。与其对比下,本发明系在积层物(其系被切断而形成包装用之标笺)的外表面上提供令人满意的印刷,该印刷系能抵抗磨擦及于长时期存在下因高温所造成的擦去作用,且其亦对已完成的包装,提供适当储存贮架寿命。
虽然已对咸认系为本发明的较佳具体实施例,加以说明和描述,但当然,应明了的是,在未偏离本发明精神下,可于其形式或细节上,立即进行各种修改及改变。因此,所意欲的是,本发明并不受限于此正确形式,而是本文中所揭示的本发明整体系如后文所提请专利的范围。
Claims (14)
1、一种在多层箔积层物上的一层的相反表面上印刷的方法,其中该层系包括一种塑胶薄膜材料,其具有第一个该表面,此表面可以粘着方式固着至箔卷筒纸的面对表面;该方法包括以下步骤:
(a)经由平版印刷,将第一个标记印刷在该塑胶薄膜材料的第一个表面上;
(b)将该塑胶薄膜材料层的已印刷的第一表面,以粘着方式固着至该箔卷筒纸的面对表面上;
(c)及经由热转印,将标记印刷在远离该箔卷筒纸的该塑胶薄膜材料的第二个表面上。
2、根据权利要求1所述的印刷方法,其中该塑胶薄膜材料,系经由插入一种由干粘性粘着剂所组成的一层,以粘着方式固着至该箔。
3、一种供包装用的复合积层箔覆盖与印刷标笺结构,该箔覆盖与标笺结构包括:
(a)一种金属箔;
(b)由一种塑胶薄膜材料所构成的第一层,以粘着方式固着至该箔的一侧面;该第一层具有标记,经印刷在其面向该箔的表面上,且热转移的标记,是印刷在远离该箔的该层的相反侧面上,于是该双面印刷形成一种已印刷的标笺。
4、根据权利要求3所述的复合积层箔包装覆盖物,其中该第一层至少为半透明,其面向该箔的表面上的印刷,系藉平版印刷网目进行印刷,且从该积层物的外部观看时,可于期望取向中见及之。
5、根据权利要求4所述的复合积层箔包装覆盖物,其中系将一种不透明颜色背景,印刷在该层面向该箔的表面上,位于该印刷标记的下方。
6、根据权利要求3所述的复合积层箔包装覆盖物,其中该塑胶薄膜材料层,系经由插入一个干粘性粘着剂层,以粘着方式粘结至该金属箔。
7、根据权利要求3所述的复合积层箔包装覆盖物,其中第二个塑胶薄膜材料层,系以粘着方式固着至与该第一层所固着的侧面相反的金属箔侧面上。
8、根据权利要求7所述的复合积层箔包装覆盖物,其中该第二个塑胶薄膜材料层,系可热封至一种射出模制塑胶材料所构成的成型包装。
9、一种制造包装用的多层箔积层覆盖物的方法,该覆盖物各包括一种在该积层物卷筒纸上一个外层的相反表面上具有印刷的标笺,其中该层系包括一种具有第一个该表面的塑胶薄膜材料,该表面可以粘着方式固着至该箔卷筒纸的面对表面;该方法系包括以下步骤:
(a)经由平版网目印刷,在该塑胶薄膜材料的第一个表面上,印刷标记;
(b)以粘着方式,使该塑胶薄膜材料层的经印刷的第一个表面,固着至该箔卷纸的面对表面;
(c)经由热转印,于远离该箔卷筒纸的该塑胶薄膜材料的第二个表面上印刷标记;
(d)于该箔卷筒纸的相反表面上,涂敷一层由漆组合物所构成的涂层;
(e)于该漆层上涂覆一层干粘性粘着剂;
(f)于该粘着剂上粘结另一层,此层包括一种塑胶薄膜材料,以形成该多层箔积层物;
(g)及将该积层箔卷筒纸切断成预定片段,各片段具有该印刷,位于其中的指定表面区域内,以形成该包装覆盖物。
10、根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中该塑胶薄膜材料至少为半透明,该网目印刷步骤系包括在该第一层表面上,以至少一种颜色,印刷该标记,以使得从该积层物的外部观看该第二个表面时,可于期望的取向上见及该标记。
11、根据权利要求10所述的方法,其中系将一种不透明对比方式著色的背景,印刷在该第一个表面上,位于该经印刷标记的下方。
12、根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中该塑胶薄膜材料的第二个表面上的热转印步骤,具有标记,于曝露在约120℃至130℃范围内的温度下,历经约30分钟期间时,仍保持安定。
13、根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中该印刷套准,系藉至少一个光学感测器,扫描至少一个该印刷范围而加以控制。
14、根据权利要求9所述的方法,其中藉热转印至该第一个塑胶薄膜材料层的第二个表面所赋予的标记,系定位于该第一个塑胶薄膜材料层的第一个表面上存在的印刷范围内的指定取向上。
