本发明涉及一种包装用的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品的制造方法。再者,本发明还涉及一种包装用的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,所述叠层制品具有至少一层,优选为一外层,该层是由一种塑性薄膜材料所构成,并在此层的两面上提供印刷。
具有印有各种图标与标记的外表面的含有金属箔的叠压制品的利用性已为包装领域所熟知。并且在许多其他物理应用中,所述含有金属箔的叠层制品可作为塑性包装(例如注塑成型的泡沫塑料衬垫包装)的盖的原材料使用
于许多情况下,可形成盖或覆盖物的含有金属箔的叠层制品的外部配置层具有一个面向包装外侧的表面,在该层上可进行适当印刷。例如,此种印刷上的图案可包括表明制造者、制造者的商标文字及各种资讯的标记或边印,及表明包装中产品的装饰与广告标记,及包括适当可改变的技术资讯,例如到期日、批号及专属该包装产品的其他资料。
基本上,供盖的原材料目的使用的此种含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,包括适当塑性材料的外层,该外层以粘着方式固定至一箔层的两表面或一面上。此种箔层一般是由适当金属材料所构成,所述金属材料可为铝或其类似物,且其中所述塑性薄膜材料层之一,是适合以粘着方式固定(例如藉热封或其类似方式)至该塑性容器或包装上,所述包装适合将其内容物密封于其中。泡沫塑料衬垫包装或类似塑胶容器经常会处于潜在有伤害性的温度及/或环境之中,所述容器具有呈含有金属箔的叠层制品的形式加于其上的覆盖物。当整个包装接受消毒时,就可能为此情况,例如在装在其中的产品欲被采用在医学用途时的情况中;例如,一种譬如隐形眼镜的产品,其是适于包装在无菌食盐水溶液中,并密封在此包装的隔间或孔穴中。
基本上能够确信的是,一般在包装外部所提供的印刷图案,能安全地抵抗上述状况,而不会被完全擦去或甚至仅仅部分造成模糊不清。因此,一重要方面在于,应采用适当印刷种类,其不仅在所述不利物理条件下使印刷在包装上的图案仍保持稳定,而且亦会避免任何施加于其上的有害作用。因此,例如,在叠层制品的一面上构成外塑性薄膜材料层,以具有一种可印刷图案、且通常为透明的本性,例如,一种聚酯薄膜。目前所采用的印刷型式,并不能完全满足工业的严格要求。因此,利用激光印刷未必能够提供令人满意的印刷结果,同时热烫印刷会在叠层制品上产生印记,其对于欲热封或粘结至叠层制品上的包装或容器的下层表面部而言,可能会不利地影响其机械密封性质。
因此,本发明是提供一种实施所谓双面印刷,或实际上,在含有金属箔的叠层制品外层的两面上进行印刷的方法。基本上,本发明的双面印刷方法,包括首先在塑性薄膜材料的外层的下表面上印刷,该材料较佳为例如聚酯,其中是对该塑性薄膜材料的面向其将粘结至的下层金属箔的表面进行印刷,且其中所述印刷图案是经过反面或网版彩色印刷的中间物加至该塑性薄膜材料上。于此外部塑性薄膜层的一表面上完成此印刷后,此塑性薄膜材料以粘着方式,以其经印刷的表面,固着或粘结至下层金属箔,例如通过在两层之间加一种适当黏合剂。
接着,为在此外部塑性薄膜材料的上表面或外表面上进行印刷,使前述含有金属箔的叠层制品前进至一种适当印刷配置。此印刷配置,在这种叠层制品外部塑性薄膜层的外表面上预定位置进行热转印,优选是经由一种陶瓷印刷头的中间物,印刷其他标记,此标记系详细表示有关于装有该含有金属箔的叠层制品的包装的特定内容物的资讯。此种印刷的方法以双面方式,提供一种在该外部塑性薄膜材料的两面上进行印刷的有效模式,其中该材料优选可由(但不限于)聚酯所构成,由于聚酯的多孔性,故其性质极适于热转印。此种热转印型式,不会在含有金属箔的叠层制品上形成任何印记,但适合抵抗高温及其他不利环境条件,历经相当长时间,也不会有由于在该叠层制品外侧上印刷而产生任何破坏作用。
此含有金属箔的叠层制品,其最初是以连续薄片或卷筒形式,由适当供应辊或类似物提供,所述叠层制品包括金属箔的相反两表面,所述两表面上具有适当黏合剂,以便以粘着方式接触及粘结至其他塑性薄膜材料,其中此种薄膜材料优选是由聚丙烯所构成。接着,使后者粘结至一种注塑成型的塑性容器或包装上的邻近密封表面,所述包装可由聚丙烯所构成,例如藉热封或其类似方式进行,以形成完整包装结构,如在包装技术领域所熟知的。一种此种类型的“泡沫塑料衬垫包装”,系揭示于例如美国专利4,691,820中,其系共同归属于本申请案的受让人。
为帮助经过热转印中间物于塑性薄膜材料的外表面上进行精确且精密的定位印刷,故提供一些方式使其能够精密对准塑性薄膜材料反面上的下层印刷。于第一次提及的塑性薄膜材料的向内或相反表面上所提供的且位于粘附至箔层的叠层制品内的印刷图案,可包括适当印刷范围,其明确表示指引线,以在藉由邻近含有金属箔的叠层制品外部的适当光学传感器扫描时,提供印刷对准,以确保其外部印刷。此将确保该热转印正确地位于所扫描的印刷范围内,于此范围内已委任该热转印,以致在随后将由含有金属箔的叠层制品所构成的卷筒切成预定片段,而形成容器或泡沫塑料衬垫包装的盖部份时,于其上所提供关于此产物的印刷资讯,将总是正确地位于所完成的包装上。
再者,本发明涉及一种含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,该叠层制品包括一个外部塑性薄膜材料层,该塑性薄膜材料层以一种方式在其两面上印刷,以在朝向下层箔材料的塑性薄膜层的表面上,提供永久着色的标记与图标。反之,随后在此层压制品的塑性薄膜材料层的外表面上进行印刷,这种印刷是经过热转印的中间物而在塑性薄膜材料层上进行的印刷,这种印刷图案与先前赋予该外层的反面的下层印刷图案是精确对位的。
因此,本发明的一个目的是提供一种双面印刷的方法,或是在含有金属箔的多层叠层制品的一层的两相反表面上印刷的方法。
根据本发明提供了一种制造包装用的含有金属箔的多层叠层覆盖物的方法,所述覆盖物包含一种标签,该覆盖物在其外层的两个表面上都进行印刷,所述外层包括第一塑性薄膜材料,该薄膜材料的下表面以粘着方式固定到箔层的朝向所述薄膜材料的下表面的表面上;所述方法包括以下步骤:
(a)经由平版网版印刷,在所述第一塑性薄膜材料的所述下表面上印刷标记;
(b)以粘着方式,将所述第一塑性薄膜材料层的经印刷的下表面,固定至该箔层的朝向所述下表面的表面上;
(c)经由热转印,在远离该箔层的所述第一塑性薄膜材料的上表面上印刷标记;
(d)于该箔层的另一表面上,涂敷一层由漆组合物所构成的涂层;
(e)于该漆层上涂覆一层干粘性黏合剂层;
(f)于该黏合剂上粘结另一层,此层包括第二塑性薄膜材料,以形成含有金属箔的多层叠层制品;
(g)将所述含有金属箔的叠层制品切断成预定片段,各片段具有印制在其特定表面区域的印刷图案,由此形成所述含有金属箔的多层叠层覆盖物。
本发明的再一目的,是提供一种具有至少一个外层的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,在所述外层的两个表面上均具有印刷图案,所述印刷图案是使用根据本发明的印刷方法印刷上去的。
现在参考下文以及附图详述的本发明具体实施例;其中:
图1是说明一种用以实施含有金属箔的叠层制品中一层的双面印刷的装置的立体侧示图,其包括各种工作站,以由经印刷的含有金属箔的叠层制品形成多个供包装用的盖封闭物;
图2是说明图1装置的俯视图;
图3以放大的形式示出一种传感器配置,其是与印刷头的操作并用,以实施此含有金属箔的叠层制品的双面印刷;
图4是示出适合双面印刷的含有金属箔的叠层制品片段部份;及
图5以放大形式示出沿着图4中的5-5线,经过该含有金属箔的叠层制品所取得的截面图。
现在详细参考附图,且尤其是图1与2,其系揭示一种装置10,以将一种由含有金属箔的多层叠层制品加工处理成多个盖或覆盖物结构,以供所谓“泡沫塑料衬垫包装”型式的塑性容器使用。可将此等容器制成通常为硬质或半硬质形态的注塑成型塑性结构,于正常情况下,其包括可容纳产品的孔穴或隔间,以及从此层压制品的一部份所构成的盖子的适合固着或粘结(例如藉热封或其类似方式)的凸缘表面。此装置10通常包括多个牢固地与水平支撑横梁18与20互相连接的垂直骨架构件12、14及16,以建立一个固定不动的支撑骨架,适合装载在支柱22上,静止在地板表面上。
于水平横梁26的悬梁延伸物24上,于轴颈上接有一个可旋转结构28,支撑一个由含有金属箔的多层叠层制品30的连续体所形成的卷筒,如下文结合附图4与5所详述者。
沿着此骨架输送含有金属箔的叠层制品30的纵向路径配置的是壳体32,于其中支撑一个印刷头配置34及一个光学传感器单位36。
再者,于此印刷头配置34的下游方向上,沿着此骨架水平范围配置的是一种适当切割单元40及各种操作装置42,以将含有金属箔的叠层制品30的连续体切断成供容器或包装用的盖或覆盖物。这些特殊工作站及操作配件,已经更广泛地详述于有关由含有金属箔的叠层制品30形成覆盖物或盖子的各种共待审专利申请案中,因此,不在本文中作更特别详细描述。
藉适当驱动装置(未示出),自可旋转支撑物28抽取,而使含有金属箔的叠层制品卷筒30退绕,并以多个导辊与张力辊单元46至48、50及52,导引而朝向接近及低于印刷头配置34,沿着装置10的水平范围进行。
该多层含有金属箔的叠层制品30是由多个材料层所构成,所述材料层是以粘着方式互相固定或粘结在一起,如附图4与5中所详细显示的。
回复至图5,多层含有金属箔的叠层制品30包括一个上层50,所述上层由一种实质上透明或半透明聚酯薄膜材料所构成,该薄膜材料已预先经由习用平版印刷术,于其下层表面52上印刷适当标记,该标记可呈单色或彩色网目,包括按需要的反面印刷边印,且其亦可包括另一个彩色或印刷层位于其下方,而形成着色或对比背景,例如,白色或任何其他适当颜色。因此位于聚酯薄膜层50下方的网版标记及背景,是在内表面52上印刷,当从外部朝聚酯薄膜层50的外表面观看时,如附图4中所示,由于聚酯薄膜的透明性,故各种标记与图标可见,所述标记和图标可代表公司名称、商标文字、各种装饰与广告事项及印刷资讯,它们一般是永久性地对此类型产物提供。虽然在此优选具体实施例中,系使用习用平版印刷术,但应注意的是,其他形式的印刷程序亦可使用。适当印刷范围52a、52b及52c,可清晰地确认,并从薄膜层50的外部见及。一种箔层54(较佳由铝所组成),是邻近聚酯薄膜的下表面52延伸,且以粘着方式,经由加入一种黏合剂层而固着或粘结至所述聚酯薄膜层上,该黏合剂层由一种干粘性、黏合剂56所构成,其可为聚胺基甲酸酯。
此铝箔层54的另一侧面或表面,亦可使用类似黏合剂层56的另一黏合剂层58进行涂覆,且其亦由聚胺基甲酸酯所构成。此黏合剂是欲予在铝箔层54的下方表面与另一塑性薄膜层60之间,提供粘着性连接或结合,该塑性薄膜层可由聚丙烯构成,且该黏合剂是对注塑成型塑性包装或容器的塑性材料,提供良好密封粘着;例如,经由对其热封或类似方式。除了聚酯外的适当塑性薄膜,只要基本上透明,且可在其两侧面上印刷的即可,其中可包括低与中密度聚乙烯、EVA共聚物、离子键聚合体、纤维素材料等。
于上层聚酯薄膜层50与黏合剂52之间形成粘着性结合,以使层50叠合至铝箔层54上之前,实施适当印刷。如上文所述的此种印刷,赋予该聚酯薄膜50的下方表面52如上文所述的标记与图标,该印刷是经过网版彩色印刷,于适当取向上施加,以使当其粘着地固定或结合至铝箔层54时,该标记可从叠层制品30的上方,在正确表示的方位经过层50而见及,正如上述美国专利5,691,820中的情况。
当此含有金属箔的叠层制品30在一系列辊46至52上导引,朝向印刷头配置34前进时,光学传感器单元36进行扫描并决定印在下方表面52上的至少一个印刷范围52a或52b或52c的位置,以造成印刷头配置34驱使陶瓷印刷头34a前进而与可应用的印刷范围52a至52c接触,并经过热转印的中间物,在聚酯薄膜50的外表面印刷适当可改变及可变化的印刷资料。此种资料,例如当将此层压制品切断成供个别包装使用的盖子时,可包括适当可改变的批号、到期日、及其他代表装在包装中的特定产品的物理数据;例如,关于隐形眼镜的倍率,该隐形眼镜系储存在包装的孔穴中,同时浸泡在适当保护性无菌食盐水溶液中。
因此,在聚酯薄膜50的下方表面52(此表面系以粘着方式粘结至铝箔卷筒54)上所提供的永久标记与图标的最初印刷,是确认各种一般化产品及与公司有关的资讯、广告及商标等的永久展示,同时具有至少一个印刷范围,作为由热转印在含有金属箔的叠层制品30的外表面上印刷特殊且可变的与产品有关资料的位置的对准处。
前述热转印适合抵抗在120℃~130℃范围内的温度,历经高达半小时,当已完成的包装及包含于其中的产品,于这些条件下接受消毒时,可能会遭遇该温度,但不会以任何方式不利地影响该热转印在含有金属箔的叠层制品30外层上的品质与可读性。
所述含有金属箔的叠层制品30可具有整个厚度在约0.07至0.08毫米的范围内,且可以由长度与尺寸与含有金属箔的叠层制品的特定期望应用相称的适当卷筒供应。
本领域技术人员从前述可以明白,此叠层制品的外部聚酯薄膜层的双面印刷的利用,可提供本领域无法获得的利益,因为其不需要校准孔及叠层制品中的记号,故不必采用激光印刷,激光印刷未必能够提供适当印刷品质;及免除对于热烫印刷的需求,该热烫印刷会在含有金属箔的叠层制品中造成刻纹的形成,于是不利地影响其与含有产品的塑性包装的适当热密封。与其对比下,本发明系在叠层制品(其系被切断而形成包装用之标签)的外表面上提供令人满意的印刷,该印刷系能抵抗摩擦及于长时期存在下因高温所造成的擦去作用,且其亦对已完成的包装,提供适当储存寿命。
虽然已对本发明的较佳具体实施例加以说明和描述,但当然,应明了的是,在未偏离本发明精神下,可于其形式或细节上,进行各种修改及改变。因此,应当理解本发明并不受限于此确切形式,而是在于本文中所揭示的本发明整体及如后文要求保护的范围。
Claims (20)
1.一种制造包装用的含有金属箔的多层叠层覆盖物的方法,所述覆盖物包含一种标签,该覆盖物在其外层的两个表面上都具有印刷图案,所述外层包括第一塑性薄膜材料,该薄膜材料的下表面以粘着方式固定到箔层的朝向所述下表面的表面上;所述方法包括以下步骤:
(a)经由平版网版印刷,在所述第一塑性薄膜材料的所述下表面上印刷标记;
(b)以粘着方式,将所述第一塑性薄膜材料层的经印刷的下表面,固定至该箔层的朝向所述下表面的表面上;
(c)经由热转印,在远离该箔层的所述第一塑性薄膜材料的上表面上印刷标记;
(d)于该箔层的另一表面上,涂敷一层由漆组合物所构成的涂层;
(e)于该漆层上涂覆一层干粘性黏合剂层;
(f)于该黏合剂上粘结另一层,此层包括第二塑性薄膜材料,以形成含有金属箔的多层叠层制品;
(g)将所述含有金属箔的叠层制品切断成预定片段,各片段具有印制在其特定表面区域的印刷图案,由此形成所述多层含有金属箔的叠层覆盖物。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第一塑性薄膜材料是透明的,所述网版印刷步骤包括在第一塑性薄膜材料层的下表面上,以至少一种颜色印刷所述标记,以使得从所述叠层制品的外部观看该层的上表面时,在所要求的方位上能见到该标记。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,在所述印刷标记的下方,在所述第一塑性薄膜材料层下表面上印刷不透明且有对比色彩的背景。
4.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,在所述第一塑性薄膜材料的上表面的热印刷步骤能使所述标记在曝露在约120℃~130℃的温度范围内,时间约30分钟的情况下保持稳定。
5.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第一塑性薄膜材料层由聚酯构成。
6.如权利要求5所述的方法,其特征在于,所述箔层由铝构成。
7.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,通过在所述第一塑性薄膜材料和所述箔层之间加入一层干粘性黏合剂层,使第一塑性薄膜材料以粘着方式固定在所述箔层上。
8.如权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于,所述干粘性着剂包括聚氨脂黏合剂。
9.如权利要求8所述的方法,其特征在于,所述涂覆在所述漆层上的干粘性黏合剂包括聚氨脂黏合剂。
10.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第二塑性薄膜材料层由取向聚丙烯构成。
11.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述热转印步骤是通过陶瓷印刷头与所述第一塑性薄膜材料的上表面接触而实现的。
12.如权利要求11所述的方法,其特征在于,所述第一塑性薄膜材料的上表面是所述含有金属箔的叠层制品的外暴露表面,通过该表面能从外部看到印刷在两个表面上的标记,印刷区域是印刷在所述第一塑性薄膜材料的下表面,以便于所述印刷区域和在所述上表面上进行印制的印刷头之间的印刷对准。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于,所述印刷对准由至少一个光学传感器扫描至少一个所述印刷区域来控制的。
14.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于,所述通过热转印印刷至所述第一塑性薄膜材料上表面的标记位于所述第一塑性材料下表面上的印刷区域上方的预定位置处。
15.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于所述含有金属箔的叠层制品的总厚度为约0.07~0.08mm。
16.一种供包装用的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,该含有金属箔的多层叠层制品包括:
(a)一种金属箔;
(b)由一种塑性薄膜材料所构成的第一层,该第一层以粘着方式固定至所述箔层的一表面上;该第一层具有印刷在其朝向所述箔层的表面上的标记,以及经热转移印刷在远离所述箔层的所述第一层的另一表面上的标记,于是该双面印刷形成一种已印刷的标签。
17.根据权利要求16所述的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,其特征在于所述第一层至少为半透明,该第一层在所述朝向该箔层的表面上的印刷是藉平版印刷网目进行印刷,且从该叠层制品的外部观看时,在所要求的方位可见到之。
18.根据权利要求17所述的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,其特征在于,在所述第一层的朝向所述箔层的表面上、所述印刷标记的下方印刷一种不透明颜色背景。
19.根据权利要求16所述的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,其特征在于,所述塑性薄膜材料层经由插入一个干粘性黏合剂层,以粘着方式粘结至该金属箔层上。
20.根据权利要求16所述的含有金属箔的多层叠层制品,其特征在于第二个塑性薄膜材料层以粘着方式固着至金属泊的另一表面上,该表面与所述固定第一层的表面相反。
