本申请总体涉及无线充电系统,更具体地,本申请涉及与无线充电系统一起使用的用于近场无线充电的天线。
背景技术
诸如笔记本电脑、智能手机、便携式游戏设备、平板电脑等的电子设备需要电能来运行。一般而言,电子设备通常每天至少充电一次,或者对于使用频率高或耗电高的电子设备,则每天充电多于一次。这种充电活动可能是冗长乏味的,对于一些用户来说是种负担。例如,用户可能需要携带充电器,以便应对其电子设备电力不足的情况。此外,一些用户需要耗费时间找到可连接的可用电源。最后,一些用户必须接入壁式电源或某些其他形式的电源,以便能对其电子设备进行充电。然而,这种活动可能导致电子设备在充电期间无法操作或不便携带。
已经进行了若干尝试,试图将能量通过无线方式传输到电子设备,在该电子设备处,接收器设备可以消耗传输的能量并将其转换为可用电力。然而,大多数常规技术所采用的天线无法在待充电的设备与无线充电器彼此距离很近的情况下有效工作。例如,常规解决方案可能采用发射器和接收器。发射器包括天线,该天线被配置成以一定功率辐射电磁波,该功率为该发射器的电馈送信号的功率和频率的函数。接收器包括一个或多个天线,该一个或多个天线被配置成接收由发射器发射的功率信号。然而,当一个或多个发射器天线和一个或多个接收器天线彼此距离过近时,天线可能因耦合而失谐。于是有必要在传输阶段期间进行调谐,以防止不希望的强电流注入,该强电流注入可能由接收到的发射信号在接收天线中产生。只能通过使用调谐电路来防止在接收天线中接收到不希望的发射信号,这增加了封装的总体成本。
因此,在本领域中需要解决常规的基于天线的无线充电系统的上述缺陷。
发明内容
本文公开的无线充能系统试图解决上述缺陷,并还可以提供若干其它特征。本文说明的无线充能系统设有同轴结构,该同轴结构用于对电子设备进行充电,从而解决由常规的无线充电系统使用的天线的上述缺陷。
在一实施例中,一种无线充电系统包括:第一同轴结构,该第一同轴结构被配置为承载存在于导体上的射频信号;以及第二同轴结构,该第二同轴结构被配置为被来自第一同轴结构的射频信号激发,当第一同轴结构和第二同轴结构被置于彼此附近时,电力由第一同轴结构向第二同轴结构传输。
在另一实施例中,一种用于对无线充电系统中的电子设备进行充电的方法包括:当第一平面同轴结构被置于第二平面同轴结构附近时,激发第一平面同轴结构,以允许电力由第一平面同轴结构向第二平面同轴结构传输。
在又一实施例中,一种无线充电系统包括:第二同轴结构,该第二同轴结构被配置为被射频信号激发,其中,当存在射频信号的第一同轴结构和第二同轴结构被置于彼此附近时,电力由第一同轴结构向第二同轴结构传输。

需要对电子设备、尤其是可穿戴设备进行定期充电。无线充电简化了充电过程。充电器可以包括发电机,电子设备可以包括接收器,用于接收传输的无线能量。发电机和接收器中的每一个均可包括同轴结构,如本文所描述的,设置该同轴结构用于能量的无线传输。简而言之,当接收器同轴结构不在发射器同轴结构附近时,发射器同轴结构的输入阻抗类似于开路,因此,电力不泄漏到发射器同轴结构外部。当接收器同轴结构被置于发射器同轴结构附近,并且当接收器同轴结构被激发为具有与发射器同轴结构相同的射频(RF)场分布(模式)时,发生电力传输。
图1A和图1B分别为根据本公开的实施例的第一同轴结构100的正视图和后视图。在一实施例中,第一同轴结构100可以是充电设备的一部分。在另一实施例中,第一同轴结构100可以对应于充电设备,或与充电设备相关联。两种情况下,第一同轴结构100均可以与充电设备电连通。如图所示,第一同轴结构100一般为正方形,并包括发射线(TL),该发射线产生来自发射器的发射线射频场(即同轴模式),如下文参考图3A所进一步说明的。替代地,第一同轴结构100的形状可以是矩形、圆形、或任何其他几何形状或非几何形状。

在操作中,当处于接收器侧(见图3B)的同轴结构312未被定位于发射器侧(如图3A所示)的同轴结构302附近时,发射器单元的输入阻抗类似于开路(即,输入阻抗无限大),并且接收器单元未被激发为具有相同的射频场分布(模式),因此电力未从同轴结构302泄漏或传输。然而,当处于接收器侧的同轴结构312被定位于同轴结构302附近时,如图3B所示,接收器单元被激发为具有相同的射频场分布(模式)。
图3B是示出了根据本公开的实施例的发射器的第一同轴结构302和接收器的第二同轴结构312的示意图。在上文参照图1A和图1B示出了第一同轴结构302的更具体的构造。在上文参照图2A和图2B描述了第二同轴结构312的更具体的构造。
在图3B示出的实施例中,当第一同轴结构302和第二同轴结构312的表面被定位成彼此相距一接近距离时,由于在第一同轴结构302和第二同轴结构312中的每一个中均存在电流而可以激发同轴场辐射。所激发或产生的同轴场辐射导致同轴场辐射在第一同轴结构302和第二同轴结构312周围的区域中进行分布,并且由同轴场辐射产生的电流传输可以从第一同轴结构302向第二同轴结构312传输,用以通过接收器转换为电力,以对耦合至第二同轴结构312的电子设备的电池进行充电。在示出的实施例中,接近距离可以是小于10mm的任何距离,然而,本领域的普通技术人员应理解,接近距离不限于10mm或以下,并且可以大于10mm,而并不超出所公开的实施例的保护范围。

在步骤506中,可通过将同轴场辐射转换为用于对电子设备充能的适合形式的能量来对电子设备进行充电。可以通过功率转换电路(例如用于对电子设备的电池进行充电的整流器电路)将所产生的同轴辐射转换为功率信号。整流器可以包括二极管、电阻器、电感器和/或电容器,以如本领域所理解的那样,将产生的交流(AC)电压整流为直流(DC)电压。在某些实施例中,总功率输出不大于1瓦特,以符合联邦通信委员会(FCC)规章第15部分(低功率、无许可的第一同轴结构)。

Claims (22)
1.一种无线充电设备,包括:
第一同轴结构,所述第一同轴结构被配置为承载存在于导体上的射频信号;以及
第二同轴结构,所述第二同轴结构被配置为被来自所述第一同轴结构的射频信号激发,当所述第一同轴结构和所述第二同轴结构被安置成彼此相距一预定的接近距离时,电力由所述第一同轴结构向所述第二同轴结构传输。
2.根据权利要求1所述的设备,其中,所述第一同轴结构位于充电设备中,所述第二同轴结构位于电子设备中,电力响应于所述电子设备的表面与所述充电设备的表面接触而进行传输。
3.根据任一前述权利要求所述的设备,其中,所述预定的接近距离小于约10毫米。
4.根据任一前述权利要求所述的设备,其中,所述第一同轴结构和所述第二同轴结构包括各自的平面表面,所述平面表面被构造为被定位成接近彼此。
5.根据权利要求4所述的设备,其中,所述各自的平面表面被定位成以相互平行的方式接近彼此。
6.根据任一前述权利要求所述的设备,其中,所述第一同轴结构包括基板,以及,该基板包括超材料。
7.根据权利要求6所述的设备,其中,在所述基板的中心位置形成金属芯部。
8.根据任一前述权利要求所述的设备,其中,所述第二同轴结构包括基板,以及,该基板包括超材料。
9.根据权利要求8所述的设备,其中,在所述基板的中心位置形成金属芯部。
10.根据权利要求2所述的设备,还包括磁体,所述磁体被附接至所述充电设备和所述电子设备中的每一个,以使得所述电子设备和所述充电设备被朝向彼此牵引直到所述预定的接近距离内。
11.根据权利要求2或10中的任一项所述的设备,其中,所述电子设备为可穿戴手表。
12.一种用于对无线充电系统中的电子设备进行充电的方法,所述方法包括:
当第一平面同轴结构被置于第二平面同轴结构的预定的接近距离内时,激发所述第一平面同轴结构,以允许电力由所述第一平面同轴结构向所述第二平面同轴结构传输。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方法,其中,所述第一平面同轴结构位于充电设备中,所述第二平面同轴结构位于电子设备中,电力响应于所述电子设备的表面被置于所述充电设备的表面的预定接近距离内而进行传输,以对所述电子设备的电池进行充电。
14.根据权利要求12至13中的任一项所述的方法,其中,将所述第一平面同轴结构定位成接近所述第二平面同轴结构并且与所述第二平面同轴结构平行。
15.根据权利要求12至14中的任一项所述的方法,其中,所述第一平面同轴结构和所述第二平面同轴结构的预定接近距离小于约10毫米。
16.根据权利要求12至15中的任一项所述的方法,其中,所述第一平面同轴结构包括基板,以及,该基板包括超材料。
17.根据权利要求12至16中的任一项所述的方法,其中,所述第二平面同轴结构包括基板,以及,该基板包括超材料。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,其中,所述第二平面同轴结构的基板包括金属芯部,所述金属芯部在该基板的中心位置。
19.根据权利要求13所述的方法,其中,将各自的磁体附接至所述充电设备和所述电子设备中的每一个,以使得将所述电子设备和所述充电设备朝向彼此牵引,直至产生同轴场辐射的所述预定接近距离内。
20.根据权利要求13或19中的任一项所述的方法,其中,所述电子设备为可穿戴手表。
21.一种无线充电系统,包括:
第二同轴结构,所述第二同轴结构被配置为被射频信号激发,其中,当存在射频信号的第一同轴结构和所述第二同轴结构被安置成彼此接近时,电力由所述第一同轴结构向所述第二同轴结构传输。
22.一种无线充电系统,包括:
承载射频信号的第一同轴结构,其中,当所述第一同轴结构和第二同轴结构在接近彼此的情况下被激发时,电力由所述第一同轴结构向所述第二同轴结构传输。
