技术领域
本发明涉及一种缓冲器用润滑油组合物。更详细地,本发明涉及一种用于缓冲器(Shock absorber)中的导套和活塞杆的滑动部分的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,该缓冲器是主要用于四轮用的缓冲器。
背景技术
汽车缓冲器用润滑油主要是为了使车辆发挥最适的阻尼力和保持操纵稳定性,以振动抑制作为目的而被使用。一般情况下,缓冲器设置于乘用车的车身和轮胎之间,具有对由路面凹凸而引起的车身振动或突然加速和突然刹车时产生的摇动等进行缓冲的功能。
以往,汽车缓冲器用润滑油能通过降低缓冲器的油封/活塞杆、活塞杆/导套、活塞带/气缸等滑动部中的摩擦而谋求振动抑制作用的提高(例如,专利文献1和2)。
例如,专利文献3中,提出了一种在基础油中混合选自烯基琥珀酸酰亚胺、酸性亚磷酸二酯以及高碱性碱土类金属的磺酸盐、酚盐和水杨酸盐中的至少一种而形成的润滑油组合物,其目的在于提高油封/活塞杆之间的摩擦力,同时降低活塞杆/导套之间的摩擦系数且抑制起泡。
与缓冲器垂直设置相比,缓冲器倾斜设置的乘坐感觉优良,因此,通常对缓冲器进行倾斜安装。因而,通过缓冲器的伸缩而产生的弯曲力矩,在缓冲器上施加大的横向力。施加该横向力的状态时,为使缓冲器的伸缩运动变顺畅,因此,轴承(导套)的低摩擦化通过缓冲器油(Shock absorber fluid:SAF)而求出。特别是,会产生以下问题:在缓冲器中的导套磨耗时,发生漏油并无法得到适当的阻尼力。
因此,通过使用磷系添加剂或脂肪酸,研究活塞杆/导套之间的低摩擦化,但多数磷系添加剂的热稳定性不好,并且多数脂肪酸的耐磨耗性差。

发明内容
本发明要解决的问题
在这种情况下,本发明的目的在于提供一种缓冲器用润滑油组合物,该组合物能在作为导套和活塞杆中一般所使用材料的青铜-铬间的润滑性中,降低摩擦系数,减小青铜的磨耗面积,降低缓冲器中的活塞杆/导套之间的摩擦系数,进一步防止导套的磨耗。
解决问题的手段
为了开发解决上述问题的润滑油组合物,本发明人经反复专心研究,其结果发现,通过在特定的基础油中以特定量混合特定的多元醇的部分酯,能达到该目的。本发明是基于该见解而完成的。
也就是说,本发明提供一种以下的润滑油组合物:
[1]一种缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其特征在于,其含有:
(A)由矿物油和/或合成油构成的基础油;和
(B)具有碳原子数为10以上、20以下的脂肪酸残基的多元醇的部分酯,并且相对于组合物总量,该多元醇的部分酯的含量为0.05质量%以上、10质量%以下;
[2]如[1]的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,上述(B)成分是4元醇的部分酯;
[3]如[1]或[2]的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,上述(B)成分是季戊四醇二油酸酯和/或季戊四醇二月桂酸酯。
[4]如[1]~[3]中的任一项的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,还含有(C)含磷化合物。
发明效果
根据本发明,提供一种缓冲器用润滑油组合物,该组合物能在作为导套和活塞杆中通常使用的材料的青铜-铬间的润滑性中,降低摩擦系数,减小青铜的磨耗面积,降低缓冲器中的活塞杆/导套之间的摩擦系数,并且能防止导套的磨耗。特别是,通过使用本发明的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,摩擦系数降低,因此,能提供汽车的优良的乘坐感觉,并且通过防止磨耗,能提高缓冲器的耐久性,因而能形成兼顾乘坐感觉性和耐久性的缓冲器。
具体实施方式
本发明的缓冲器用润滑油组合物含有:(A)由矿物油和/或合成油构成的基础油(以下,存在仅称为“(A)成分”的情况);和(B)具有碳原子数为10以上、20以下的脂肪酸残基的多元醇的部分酯(以下,存在仅称为“(B)成分”的情况),并且相对于组合物总量,该多元醇的部分酯的含量为0.05质量%以上、10质量%以下。
<(A)基础油>
本发明的润滑油组合物中的基础油(A)是矿物油和/或合成油。该矿物油或合成油的种类并没有特别限定;作为矿物油,例如,可举出通过溶剂精制、加氢精制等通常的精制法而得到的石蜡基系矿物油、中间基系矿物油或环烷基系矿物油等。
另外,作为合成油,例如,可举出聚丁烯、聚烯烃(α-烯烃(共)聚合物)、各种酯(例如,多元醇酯、二元酸酯、磷酸酯等)、各种醚(例如,聚苯醚等)、烷基苯、烷基萘等。
本发明中,作为基础油,可使用一种上述矿物油或将两种以上上述矿物油组合使用。另外,可使用一种上述合成油或将两种以上上述合成油组合使用。进一步,还可将一种以上矿物油与一种以上合成油组合使用。
这些中,优选使用矿物油、特别是石蜡系矿物油或1-癸烯的低聚物等α-烯烃聚合物以及它们的混合物。
另外,本发明的润滑油组合物主要作为乘用车的缓冲器油而使用,因此,作为上述基础油的粘度,优选40℃的运动粘度为2~20mm2/s的范围,更优选3~15mm2/s的范围,进一步优选4~10mm2/s的范围。
基础油的粘度指数并没有特别限定,但优选95以上,更优选100以上,进一步优选105以上。另外,对于这里所指的基础油的粘度指数等性状,在混合使用多种基础油时,意味着混合基础油的性状。
另外,上述基础油优选燃点为150℃以上的基础油,更优选155℃以上的基础油。基础油的燃点为150℃以上时,在使用条件下,泡沫产生变少,因而能提高乘坐感觉性。
因此,以提高低温流动性为目的,并不优选使用混合了过低粘度基材的基础油。
另外,这里所指的燃点通常是按照JIS K2265(COC法)测定的值。
本发明的润滑剂组合物中,(A)成分的含量并没有特别限定,例如,相对于组合物的总量,优选为50质量%以上、99.9质量%以下,更优选为70质量%以上、99.8质量%以下,进一步优选80质量%以上、99.7质量%以下。
<(B)多元醇的部分酯>
(B)成分是具有碳原子数为10以上、20以下的脂肪酸残基的多元醇的部分酯。在这里,脂肪酸残基是指脂肪酸脱羧基的残基。
脂肪酸残基并没有特别限定,例如,可为支链或直链的脂肪酸残基、不饱和脂肪族烃基或饱和脂肪族烃基。具体来说,作为脂肪酸残基,例如,可举出癸基、月桂基、棕榈基、硬脂基和油烯基。
作为多元醇,可举出乙二醇、二乙二醇、丙二醇、二丙二醇等二元醇;甘油、三羟甲基乙烷、三羟甲基丙烷、三羟甲基丁烷、1,3,5-戊三醇、1,2,4-丁三醇、1,2,6-己三醇等三元醇;季戊四醇、1,2,3,4-丁四醇、脱水山梨糖醇等四元醇;核糖醇、阿拉伯糖醇、木糖醇、山梨糖醇、甘露醇等多元醇等。
多元醇的价数并没有特别限定,但适宜为三价以上,更适宜为4价。
多元醇适宜具有1~3个酯取代部位,更适宜为具有2~3个酯取代部位。
另外,多元醇的部分酯适宜具有2个以上的羟基。
作为适合的多元醇的部分酯,具体来说,可举出季戊四醇二油酸酯、季戊四醇二月桂酸酯、季戊四醇二硬脂酸酯等。其中,优选季戊四醇二油酸酯、季戊四醇二月桂酸酯。
本发明的润滑油组合物中,相对于组合物总量,(B)成分的含量为0.05质量%以上、10质量%以下,优选为0.2质量%以上、4质量%以下,更优选为0.3质量%以上、3质量%以下。
<(C)含磷化合物>
本发明的润滑油组合物优选含有(C)含磷化合物(以下,存在仅称为“(C)成分”的情况)。通过含有含磷化合物,能发挥与多元醇的部分酯(B)的协同效果,并能显著提高耐磨耗性。
作为(C)含磷化合物,可举出磷酸酯类、酸性磷酸单酯的胺盐和酸性亚磷酸二酯等磷系酯化合物、二硫代磷酸锌(ZnDTP)。
这些中,本发明的润滑油组合物中优选含有烷基的碳原子数为7~12的ZnDTP作为含磷化合物。作为该ZnDTP,可举出下述通式(I)所示的化合物。

上述通式(I)中,作为R1和R2所示烷基的具体例子,可举出庚基、异庚基、环己基甲基、辛基、2-乙基己基、异辛基、环辛基、壬基、异壬基、3,5,5-三甲基己基、环辛基甲基、癸基、3,7-二甲基辛基、2-丙基庚基、异癸基、十一烷基、十二烷基、2-丁基辛基、异十二烷基等。这些中,更优选碳原子数为7~10的烷基。
R1和R2可彼此相同或不同,但从制造上的容易性的观点来看,优选相同。
另外,作为磷酸酯系化合物,例如,可举出由单甲基氢磷酸酯和单乙基氢磷酸酯等具有碳原子数为1~8的烷基或烯基的酸性磷酸单酯与具有碳原子数为8~20的烷基或烯基的胺化合物构成的酸性磷酸单酯胺盐。
本发明的润滑油组合物中,相对于组合物总量,作为该(C)成分的含磷化合物的含量优选为0.3~2质量%,优选为0.5~1.5质量%。
<其它任意成分>
本发明的缓冲器油中,在不损害本发明目的的范围内,可适宜含有选自无灰清洁分散剂、金属系清洁剂、润滑性提高剂、抗氧化剂、防锈剂、金属钝化剂、粘度指数增加剂、倾点下降剂和消泡剂中的至少一种作为任意添加成分。这些任意成分并没有特别限定,例如,相对于组合物总量,优选为0.1~20质量%,更优选为0.3~10质量%,进一步优选为0.3~5质量%。
在这里,作为无灰清洁分散剂,例如,可举出琥珀酸酰亚胺类、含硼琥珀酸酰亚胺类、苄胺类、含硼苄胺类、以琥珀酸为代表的二价羧酸酰胺等;作为金属系清洁剂,例如,可举出中性金属磺酸盐、中性金属酚盐、中性金属水杨酸盐、中性金属膦酸盐、碱性磺酸盐、碱性酚盐、碱性水杨酸盐、高碱性磺酸盐、高碱性水杨酸盐、高碱性膦酸盐等。
作为润滑性提高剂,可举出极压剂、耐磨耗剂、油性剂,例如,可举出二硫代氨基甲酸锌(ZnDTC)、二硫代有机磷酸硫化氧钼(MoDTP)、二硫代氨基甲酸硫化氧钼(MoDTC)等有机金属系化合物。
另外,可举出硫化油脂、硫化脂肪酸、硫化酯、硫化烯烃、二烃基多硫化物、噻二唑化合物、烷基硫代氨基化合物、三嗪化合物、硫代萜烯化合物、二烷基硫代二丙酸酯化合物等硫系极压剂。
进一步,可举出硬脂酸、油酸等脂肪族饱和及不饱和单羧酸,二聚酸、氢化二聚酸等聚合脂肪酸,蓖麻油酸、12-羟基脂肪酸等羟基脂肪酸、月桂醇、油醇等脂肪族饱和及不饱和一元醇,硬脂胺、油胺等脂肪族饱和及不饱和单胺,月桂酸酰胺、油酸酰胺等脂肪族饱和及不饱和单羧酸酰胺等油性剂。
作为抗氧化剂的例子,可举出4,4'-亚甲基双(2,6-二叔丁基苯酚)、2,2'-亚甲基双(4-乙基-6-叔丁基苯酚)等多环酚系抗氧化剂,单辛基二苯胺、单壬基二苯胺等单烷基二苯胺系化合物,4,4'-二丁基二苯胺、4,4'-二戊基二苯胺、4,4'-二己基二苯胺、4,4'-二庚基二苯胺、4,4'-二辛基二苯胺、4,4'-二壬基二苯胺等二烷基二苯胺系化合物,四丁基二苯胺、四己基二苯胺、四辛基二苯基胺、四壬基二苯胺等聚烷基二苯胺系化合物,α-萘胺、苯基-α-萘胺、丁基苯基-α-萘胺、戊基苯基-α-萘胺、己基苯基-α-萘胺、庚基苯基-α-萘胺、辛基苯基-α-萘胺、壬基苯基-α-萘胺等萘胺系化合物等胺系抗氧化剂;2,6-二叔丁基-4-(4,6-双(辛硫基)-1,3,5-三嗪-2-基氨基)苯酚、五硫化磷与蒎烯的反应物等硫代萜烯系化合物、二月桂基硫代二丙酸酯、二硬脂基硫代二丙酸酯等二烷基硫代二丙酸酯等硫系抗氧化剂等。
作为防锈剂,可举出金属系磺酸盐、琥珀酸酯等;作为金属钝化剂,可举出苯并三唑、噻二唑等。
作为粘度指数增加剂,例如,可举出聚甲基丙烯酸酯、分散型聚甲基丙烯酸酯、烯烃系共聚物(例如,乙烯-丙烯共聚物等)、分散型烯烃系共聚物、苯乙烯系共聚物(例如,苯乙烯-二烯氢化共聚物等)等。
作为倾点下降剂,可使用质均分子量为5万~15万左右的聚甲基丙烯酸酯等。
作为消泡剂,优选为高分子硅酮系消泡剂,通过含有该高分子硅酮系消泡剂,能有效发挥消泡性,提高乘车感觉性。
作为上述高分子硅酮系消泡剂,例如,可举出有机聚硅氧烷,特别适宜为三氟丙基甲基硅酮油等含氟有机聚硅氧烷。
本发明的润滑油组合物油能用于多筒型缓冲器、单筒型缓冲器中的任意一种,并且也能用于四轮、两轮中的任一种的缓冲器,特别适合用于四轮用缓冲器。
本发明的润滑油组合物,特别是,青铜-铬之间的摩擦系数低并且青铜的磨耗面积小,因此,优选作为缓冲器用润滑剂使用,其中,该缓冲器具有至少内表面是青铜制的导套以及至少与上述导套相接触的滑动部是铬制(例如,镀铬)的活塞杆。
实施例
接着,通过实施例对本发明进行更详细地说明,但本发明并不局限于这些例子。
另外,摩擦系数的测定和磨耗试验是按照以下所示方法进行的。
(1)青铜摩擦系数的测定
试验机:Bowden式往复动摩擦试验机
试验条件
负荷:0.5kgf
行程:10mm
速度:0.2mm/s
温度:80℃
摩擦次数:1
摩擦材料:上部磷青铜球、
下部镀铬板(50×1000×5mm)
另外,磷青铜球是1/2英寸球,样品油的供试方法是在板上滴下数滴样品油,进行磨合(8mm/s,负荷0.1kgf 2分钟,负荷0.2kgf 2分钟,负荷0.3kgf 2分钟,负荷0.5kgf 2分钟)后,以0.2mm/s进行试验。
(2)青铜的磨耗试验(磨耗面积)
试验机:Bowden式往复动摩擦试验机
试验条件
负荷:0.5kgf
行程:10mm
速度:8.0mm/s
温度:80℃
摩擦时间:30分钟
摩擦材料:上部磷青铜球、
下部镀铬板(50×1000×5mm)
另外,磷青铜球是1/2英寸球,样品油的供试方法是通过在板上滴下数滴样品油,进行试验的。求出磷青铜球侧的磨耗面积。
实施例1~6和比较例1~4
制备含有如表1所示各成分的润滑油组合物(缓冲器油),并进行摩擦系数的测定和磨耗试验。其结果如表1所示。
表1所示的实施例和比较例中所使用的各成分如下所述。
基础油:40℃运动粘度为7.83mm2/s的二次氢化改性矿物油(石蜡系)
季戊四醇二油酸酯:日本油脂公司制造的ユニスターH481D
季戊四醇单油酸酯:エスキパールPE-MO
季戊四醇四油酸酯:日本油脂公司制造的ユニスターH481R
甲基酸式磷酸酯胺盐:Vandarbilt公司制造的VANLUBE672
Zn-DTP(pri):エチル公司制造的OLOA5286,烷基=碳原子数为8~10的混合烷基
由本实施例可知,通过含有规定量的(A)由矿物油和/或合成油构成的基础油与(B)具有碳原子数为10以上、20以下的脂肪酸残基的多元醇的部分酯,能将摩擦系数和磨耗面积抑制成低值。特别是,如实施例2所示,通过除(B)成分之外还添加(C)成分,能特别显著地降低磨耗面积。
如比较例1所示,使用多元醇的全部醇部位被酯化的物质时,显示摩擦系数和磨耗面积为高值。另外,在比较例2中使用硬脂酸时,显示低摩擦系数,但磨耗面积显示为高值。比较例3中,不添加(B)成分,而加入ZnDTP,显示摩擦系数和磨耗面积为高值。比较例4中,使用磷酸酯胺盐,但与实施例相比,摩擦系数差。
产业上的利用可能性
本发明的润滑油组合物能用于汽车用缓冲器,也能用于四轮、两轮中的任一种的缓冲器。
Claims (4)
1.一种缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其特征在于,其含有:
(A)由矿物油和/或合成油构成的基础油;和
(B)具有碳原子数为10以上、20以下的脂肪酸残基的多元醇的部分酯,并且相对于组合物总量,该多元醇的部分酯的含量为0.05质量%以上、10质量%以下。
2.如权利要求1所述的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,(B)成分是4元醇的部分酯。
3.如权利要求1或2所述的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,(B)成分是季戊四醇二油酸酯和/或季戊四醇二月桂酸酯。
4.如权利要求1~3中的任一项所述的缓冲器用润滑油组合物,其中,还含有(C)含磷化合物。
