一种引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,其安装在内顶板和中间柱的柱装饰件相互交汇的接合部分内,包括一导向件,其一端固定在车体上气囊所安装的区域上,位于侧帘气囊下方,另一端连接到气囊垫上。

相关申请的交叉参考
本申请要求2006年11月10日在韩国知识产权局申请的韩国专利申请NO.10-2006-0111288的优先权和权益,在这里结合其全部内容作为参考。
技术领域
本发明涉及一种引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,更具体地说涉及一种引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,其能够解决当侧帘气囊展开时气囊垫被中间柱的柱装饰件卡住的问题。
背景技术
通常,车辆具有各种安全装置来在发生车辆碰撞时保护驾驶员和乘客,这种安全装置的一个实例就是气囊。
在方向盘和防撞垫(crash pad)之间安装气囊从而可在发生车辆前方碰撞时起爆膨胀,从而保护驾驶员和乘客。
另外,已研制出了吸收侧面碰撞产生侧面冲击的侧部气囊,在各种侧部气囊中,侧帘气囊是用来保护驾驶员或乘客头部的装置。
构成车体一部分的车柱是形成门框的金属结构,包括前柱、中间柱和后柱,在车柱内侧朝向车厢连接有柱装饰件。
图3是表示车辆常规侧帘气囊的安装结构的剖面图,气囊垫7a在气压的作用下向内推动内顶板5端部从而形成一空间,然后向着车厢内展开。
然而,顶板的柱装饰件3可能会妨碍侧帘气囊7的展开,例如,当侧帘气囊7展开时,侧帘气囊7可能会处于中间柱和柱装饰件3之间,从而不能正常操作侧帘气囊7。
为了解决这个问题,如图4所示,研制出一种斜支架1来防止侧帘气囊7被卡住并引导侧帘气囊7的展开。然而,斜支架1是用金属制成的以具备足够强度,从而斜支架1不能在膨胀压力下变形,所以存在一个问题就是降低了吸收冲击的性能。另外,在用来展开侧帘气囊7的气囊垫7a的结构中,由于当气囊垫7a展开时内顶板5和柱装饰板3相互接触的部分被巨大的压力推动,因此柱装饰板3和内顶板5可能会脱离,这可能会伤害乘客。
此外,由于斜支架1是一单独部件,所以增加了组装公差以及材料成本。
发明内容
本发明试图提供一种能引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,其安装在内顶板和中间柱的柱装饰件相互交汇处的接合部件内,其一端固定在车体上,气囊安装在车体上侧帘气囊下方的区域上,另一端连接到气囊垫上,从而当气囊展开时在正常方向上引导气囊垫,从而防止侧帘气囊被中间柱卡住。
本发明的一典型实施例提供了一种引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,其安装在内顶板和中间柱的柱装饰件相互交汇的接合部分内,包括一导向件,其一端固定在车体上气囊所安装的区域上,位于侧帘气囊下方,另一端连接到气囊垫上。
该导向件可以是线,其长度使得导向件可以松开到展开的气囊垫的下端部,其中部被临时粘住。
一个向车厢内弯曲的导向器设置在柱装饰板的上端部,从而连接到气囊垫下端部的线在气囊垫展开时可以在正常方向上被引导。

具体实施方式
下面参考附图详细介绍本发明的典型实施例。
图1是表示根据本发明一典型实施例的引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置的安装状态示意图。图2是表示根据本发明一典型实施例的引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置的操作状态示意图。
根据本发明的一典型实施例,设置线式导向件10来解决当侧帘气囊7展开时气囊垫7a被中间柱的柱装饰板3卡住的问题,从而引导气囊垫7a在正常方向上展开,因此,可以防止气囊垫7a被中间柱的柱装饰板3卡住现象的产生。
如上所述,车辆的侧帘气囊7具有一预先设定的膨胀面积,安装在内顶板5和中间柱的柱装饰板3交汇的上部内侧,从而保护乘客不受到车辆侧部撞击的冲击,使乘客所受伤害最小。
在车体板上侧帘气囊7下方设置当气囊垫7a在外部冲击作用下膨胀时引导气囊垫7a以使气囊垫7a可以向车厢内顺畅展开的装置。
通过气囊垫7a的展开力来操作该导向装置,其端部固定到车体的气囊安装部分上,另一端被形成为连接气囊垫7a的线式导向件10。因此,在侧帘气囊7的气囊垫7a在车辆侧面撞击的作用下展开时,导向件10的线11朝着气囊垫7a的展开方向延伸,从而引导气囊垫7a在正常方向展开。
如图1所示,由于如上文所述作为导向件10的线11的一端固定在车体上而线11的另一端连接到气囊垫7a上,线11的长度是考虑到气囊展开后的长度来确定的,从而当气囊垫7a展开时线11朝着展开方向延伸。
也就是说,保证线11在气囊垫7a展开之前具有足够长度是很重要的,从而当气囊垫7a完全展开时线11可以从车体延伸到气囊垫7a的下部。
同时,中间部分被弯曲从而线11不会无序地向下悬垂,且线11被临时粘住从而当气囊垫7a展开时线11可以容易地松开。
此时,线11的临时粘合物11a定位在中间柱的柱装饰板3上,其被构形成悬挂在内顶板5河柱装饰板3交汇处的接合部分上。向外弯的导向器20形成在柱装饰板3的上端部上,从而当气囊垫7a爆开时连接到气囊垫7a下端的线11可以在正常方向上被引导。
同样,向柱装饰板3车厢侧弯曲的导向器20使得固定在气囊垫7a下端部的线11在气囊垫7a展开时朝门玻璃移动,以使向外弯展开的气囊垫7a被朝着柱装饰板3的内侧引导,从而被向外导向而不会被卡住。
下面介绍根据本发明典型实施例的引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置的操作状态。
图2是表示根据本发明的引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置的操作状态的视图。
如果发生侧面碰撞时冲击作用在车辆侧面,则气囊ECU接收到来自冲击传感器(未示出)的信号,然后将操作信号发送给充气装置(未示出)。当侧帘气囊7的气囊垫7a被充气装置充气展开时,气囊垫7a膨胀,从而连接气囊垫7a的线11延伸,此时,线11的临时粘合物11a被去掉,线11在导向器20的作用下延伸,导向器20设置在中间柱的柱装饰板3上。
此时,当气囊垫7a被充气装置充气以开始膨胀时,线11连接气囊垫7a下端的一端从气囊的一个展开前位置移动到气囊的展开后位置,此时,当线11在柱装饰板3地导向器20的作用下延伸时,线11引导气囊垫7a,从而使气囊垫7a朝着门玻璃的方向正常展开,此时,侧帘气囊7向车厢内展开同时朝车厢内打开内顶板5。
因此,当侧帘气囊7的气囊垫7a膨胀时,气囊垫7a被引导着可平稳地膨胀穿过内顶板5和中间柱的柱装饰板3相互交汇的部分,从而防止柱装饰板3的脱开。
尽管本发明是结合目前被认为较实用的典型实施例来进行描述的,但是可以理解本发明不限于所公开的实施例,相反,本发明倾向于覆盖包括在所附权利要求限定的范围和宗旨内的各种改型及等效结构。
如上文所述,根据本发明一典型实施例的引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,防止了侧帘气囊被中间柱卡住的现象,且侧帘气囊在正常方向展开,从而防止柱装饰板脱开。
此外,由于用线作为引导侧帘气囊展开的装置,因此可以降低成本。
Claims (3)
1.一种引导车辆侧帘气囊展开的装置,其安装在内顶板和中间柱的柱装饰件相互交汇的接合部分内,包括一导向件,其一端固定在车体上气囊所安装的区域上,位于侧帘气囊下方,另一端连接到气囊垫上。
2.如权利要求1的装置,其特征在于导向件是线,其长度使得导向件可以松开到展开的气囊垫的下端部,其中部被临时粘住。
3.如权利要求1的装置,其特征在于一个向车厢内弯曲的导向器设置在柱装饰板的上端部,从而连接到气囊垫下端部的线在气囊垫展开时可以在正常方向上被引导。
