Abstract

发明背景
一种已知类型的弹性包装见述于WO200058174,其形式为直立式包,包括两个由顶壁和底壁连接的侧壁,顶壁和底壁上有角板(gusset),这样在包装处于扁平状态时,它们均可向内折叠。在制造时,侧壁、顶壁和底壁形成管状,每端沿侧壁整个宽度横向密封,从而形成封闭结构。此外,将沿折线与顶壁和底壁连接的侧壁边缘密封到顶壁和底壁的邻接边缘,形成直立周壁或边框,从而提高包装的刚性。当在这种类型的包装中装有产品时,其形状仍保持矩形,无须支撑即可直立,而且侧壁状况良好,可用于展示有关内容物的信息。
发明概述
本发明的一个目标是提供改进的包装,它具有容易打开的特征。
一个方面,本发明包括具有沿其周边与弹性侧壁相连从而形成封闭结构的弹性顶壁的包装,顶壁上形成一条弱化线(line of weakness),以备撕开,从而在顶壁产生一个开口,撕裂的开口限定在顶壁与侧壁的周边连接处之间。

发明详述
总体而言,图1所示为已知类型的弹性塑料膜构成的直立式包,弹性塑料 膜在连续流动工艺中形成管状,它具有向内折叠的带角板的侧壁。包或包装采用以下方式形成,从连续管状膜上切下一定长度的膜,在管状膜长度方向上横向密封切口,从而将其封闭。如图1所示,密封部分显示为密封翼片1和2,它们在成品包装中是直立的。带角板的侧壁变成包装的顶壁和底壁,在包装过程中,它们被装入该包装的产品展开,接着形成密封部分1和2中的第二个,从而封闭该包装。形成包装物顶部的带角板的侧壁在图1中示为3。
这种直立式包的另一个已知特征是将顶壁和底壁的周边部分热密封到直立侧壁4、5的邻接部分,从而形成直立壁或边框6,这样可以更好地限定该包装的形状。
本发明的易开特征包括在包装顶壁3上提供弱化线7,如图1所示,该弱化线基本上沿着折叠部分中心线延伸,所述折叠部分在形成壁时构成角板。弱化线优选在侧壁3上形成连续形式,从而在两个密封部分1和2之间充分延伸。
打开包装的过程简单地涉及以下步骤:消费者抓住包装物顶部上弱化线7的任何一侧,将顶壁3的任一侧拉开,从而沿弱化线7产生撕口,或者用大拇指将弱化线的任一侧向下压,从而沿弱化线产生撕口,如图2所示。顶壁在撕口任一侧的两个部分可进一步对着该包装的邻接直立侧壁4、5向内推,从而产生一个由包装的顶部周围的直立边框6所限定的完全不受阻碍的开口,如图3所示。弱化线7横跨顶部3的整个宽度的实事,确保了撕开的口子也横跨顶部的整个宽度,从而得到最大的开口。顶壁3的两个撕开部分折向邻接直立壁4、5,不仅产生最大可能的开口,而且在包装物顶部周围形成双层材料,作为边框6的延伸,从而增加强度或硬度,使开口包装更像杯子,消费者取用其内容物时,使用起来方便。直立边框有助于将顶壁3的两个撕开部分折向邻接的直立壁4、5。若没有直立边框,由于塑料膜本性缺乏可折叠性,会使撕开的部分回到封闭位置,从而遮挡撕口。
在本发明的一种实施方式中,形成包装的塑料膜是包含内层和外层的双层层合膜,适合用于不同目的,包括对膜本身进行热密封,为包装的内容物提供合适的接触层和保护膜,以及提供为印刷和其他包装目的合适外层。通常,外层可以是取向聚丙烯OPP、取向聚酯OPET或取向聚酰胺OPA;内层是聚乙烯PE或非取向聚丙烯PP。在本发明的其他实施方式中,所用层合膜具有三个或更多的层。
顶壁3中的弱化线7可通过在层合膜的外层打孔来形成,这些孔是在层合内外层之前形成的。因此,在撕开弱化线打开包装之前,这些孔被内层密封。对内层的塑料组成和厚度进行选择,以列于撕开过程;还要对外层材料的组成进行选择,以确保它一般能承受在打开包装的过程中所受到的张力,直到弱化线被撕开。在使用聚乙烯膜的典型例子中,内层厚度为20-70微米。优选将聚乙烯膜形成为,能使层合膜更容易裂开。例如,已经发现当聚乙烯膜是不同 级别的聚乙烯的混合物,并且包含一定比例的中密度聚乙烯或高密度聚乙烯时,特别适合此目的。
弱化线7上的孔可通过任何合适的方法形成,包括机械或激光方法。可采用激光穿孔法,在层合之后在层合膜中形成孔。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,可以在外层提供连续裂缝,替代在内层提供多孔。
此外,除了图1所示单条弱化线7外,可以在顶壁中心折叠区域形成多条平行弱化线,从而允许在制造过程中改变包装的中心折叠位置。也就是说,在最终折叠成侧壁的卷材(web)上预先形成多条弱化线,然后可以通过与多条弱化线中的至少一条基本对齐的方式对中心折叠位置作出任何横向调整。弱化线之间通常间隔1毫米。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,可使用单层膜用于包装材料,形成弱化线的方法要仍能保留顶壁的阻隔性,例如沿弱化线局部减小膜的厚度,或者在不影响内容物的情况下,弱化线可以用打孔的方法形成,这些孔穿透膜并破坏了顶壁的阻隔性。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,一条弱化线或几条平行弱化线偏离角板的中心折线,偏向顶壁3与侧壁4或5的接合处,这样顶壁3的折叠部分就往回折向对面的侧壁5或4。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,可通过弱化线在顶壁3上提供一个开口,所述弱化线在顶壁限定出一个部分,在打开包装时可将该部分拿开或去掉。这样,弱化线包括沿顶壁3的折线基本上横向延伸的部分。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,弱化线可以是顶壁上的切口,它用压敏粘合剂标签盖住,要在顶壁形成一个口时,揭下标签即可。弱化线可通过模切工艺形成。
在本发明的上述任何一种实施方式中,可提供诸如压敏粘合剂标签这样的可重新闭合的构件,当撕开弱化线形成开口后,可用它来重新封闭开口。可将这种标签固定在顶壁3上,用来在撕开弱化线之前将其盖住,而在打开包装物之前要先取下该标签。
在本发明的另一种实施方式中,顶壁可由任何易撕开的膜组成,所述膜容易在优选方向撕开,所述方向在图1所示的包装的两个直立密封部分1和2之间延伸。
应当理解,本申请书所用术语“顶部”、“底部”和“侧面”不是意在构成限制,本发明的包装物在使用中可具有任意取向。不过,为方便起见,将包装物直立放置,并在顶部打开它们是常见做法。
Claims (13)
1.一种具有沿其周边与弹性侧壁(4,5)相连从而形成封闭结构的弹性顶壁(3)的包装,所述顶壁(3)的周边密封到侧壁(4,5)的周边,形成周边直立边框(6),所述顶壁(3)形成向封闭结构内折的角板;其特征在于,所述顶壁(3)包括有弱化线(7),沿着该弱化线可以打开顶壁(3),并且在弱化线任一侧的顶壁部分向侧壁内折,形成开口;所述边框用来使弱化线任一侧的两个顶壁部分偏向侧壁。
2.如权利要求1所述的包装,其特征在于,弱化线沿着或平行于顶壁的折线形成。
