Abstract
NOVOS SISTEMAS DE SUBSTáNCIA FOSFORESCENTE PARA UM DIODO EMISSOR DE LUZ (LED) Novos sistemas de substância fosforescente para um LED branco são mostrados. Os sistemas de substância fosforescente são excitados por uma fonte de radiação de não visível a de UV próximo que tem um comprimento de onda de excitação que varia a partir de em torno de 250 a 420 nm. O sistema de substância fosforescente pode compreender uma substância fosforescente, duas substâncias fosforescentes, e pode incluir opcionalmente um terceiro e mesmo um quarto substância fosforescente. Em uma modalidade da presente invenção, a substância fosforescente é um sistema de duas substâncias fosforescentes que tem uma substância fosforescente azul e uma substância fosforescente amarela, onde a extremidade de comprimento de onda longo da substância fosforescente azul é substancialmente do mesmo comprimento de onda que a extremidade de comprimento de onda curto da substância fosforescente amarela. Alternativamente, pode haver um espaço de comprimento de onda entre as substâncias fosforescentes amarela e azul. A substância fosforescente amarela pode ser à base de fosfato ou silicato, e a substância fosforescente azul pode ser à base de silicato ou aluminato. Os sistemas de substância fosforescente única excitados por radiação não visível também são mostrados.
