"MEIO DE CULTURA DE CéLULAS, LINHAGEM DE CéLULAS ANIMAIS, MéTODOS PARA PRODUZIR UM MEIO DE CULTURA CONDICIONADO, CéLULAS ANIMAIS, UMA CULTURA DE CéLULAS ANIMAIS, VìRUS EM UMA CULTURA Dé CéLULAS ANIMAIS, OU, DE PREFERêNCIA, HUMANAS DIPLóIDES DEPENDENTES DE ANCORAGEM, MéTODO PARA PRODUZIR UMA VACINA, E, POPULAçãO DE VìRUS". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para cultura de células animais, de preferência humanas, diplóides dependentes de ancoragem, na ausência de componentes exógenos de origem primária animal, e a um meio de cultura de células substancialmente isento de componentes exógenos de origem primária animal apropriado para realizar referido processo. Em particular a invenção refere-se a meio de cultura de células que compreende pelo menos um, mais preferivelmente, diversos fatores de crescimento isentos de substância animal exógeno. A presente invenção refere-se também a um processo para cultivar células animais, de preferência humanas, diplóides dependentes de ancoragem em um meio de acordo com o invenção, envolvendo o uso de um substituto de tripsina de origem não-animal para passagem de células. A invenção refere-se adicionalmente a um processo para produzir vírus, vacinas virais e análogos.
