"COMPOSTO, E, PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DO MESMO". A presente invenção proporciona um processo para preparar derivados dicarboxilato-2,3-piridina via a reação de um dialquil alcoxi (ou tio alquil) oxalacetato com um composto acroleína apropriadamente substituído em presença de uma fonte de amónia e um solvente. A presente invenção também proporciona compostos intermediários úteis de fórmula IV:
