Abstract

"PROCESSO APERFEIçOADO PARA DECOMPOSIçãO DE UM HIDROPERóXIDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo aperfeiçoado para decomposição de hidroperóxidos de alquila ou aromáticos a fim de formar uma mistura de reação por decomposição contendo o álcool e cetona correspondentes. O aperfeiçoamento refere-se à decomposição do hidroperóxido através do contato do hidroperóxido com uma quantidade catalítica de um catalisador heterogêneo de Au, Ag, Cu ou um composto solgel contendo combinações particulares de Cr, Co, Zr, Ta, Si, Mg, Nb, Al e Ti, nas quais alguns de tais metais foram combinados com um óxido, tal como uma matriz inorgânica de hidróxidos ou óxidos, ou suas combinações. Os catalisadores podem também ser opcionalmente suportados por um membro de suporte apropriado.
