Abstract

"CATALISADORES DE EPOXIDAçãO CONTENDO METAIS DAS SéRIES LANTANóIDE". A invenção refere-se a um processo para a epoxidação de olefinas, usando oxigênio molecular e hidrogênio, caracterizado pelo fato de que, como catalisador, um composto compreendendo ouro, preferivelmente em tamanho nanómetro, sobre um material suporte, onde o material suporte contém um ou mais elementos das séries lantanóides, e um composto compreendendo ouro, preferivelmente em tamanho nanómetro, sobre um material suporte, onde o material suporte contém um ou mais elementos selecionados do grupo consistindo nos metais tendo o número atómico 58-71 dos quais cério e neodímio são excluídos, um processo para a preparação dos ditos compostos e um processo de catálise de uma reação química conduzindo a dita reação química na presença do dito composto.
