resumo patente de invenção: "método para produção de metacrilato de metila". a presente invenção se refere a um método para produção de metacrilato de metila, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: a) produção de metacroleína e b) reação da metacroleína obtida na etapa a) em uma reação de esterificação oxidativa de modo a proporcionar metacrilato de metila, caracterizado pelo fato de que as duas etapas a) e b) ocorrem em uma fase líquida em uma pressão de a partir de 200 até 10000 kpa (2 até 100 bar), e a etapa b) é realizada na presença de um catalisador contendo metais nobres heterogêneo compreendendo metais e/ou compreendendo óxidos de metais.
