Abstract
resumo redução eletroquímica de co2 com co-oxidação de um álcool. a presente invenção é um sistema e método para a produção de um primeiro produto a par-tir de uma primeira região de uma célula eletroquímica que tem um catodo e um segundo produto a partir de uma segunda região de célula eletroquímica que tem um anodo. o método pode incluir a etapa de colocar em contato a primeira região da célula eletroquímica com um católito que compre-ende um álcool e dióxido de carbono. outra etapa do método pode incluir colocar em contato a se-gunda região da célula eletroquímica com um anólito que compreende o álcool. além disso, o méto-do pode incluir uma etapa de aplicação de um potencial elétrico entre o anodo e o catodo suficiente para produzir um primeiro produto recuperável a partir da primeira região e um segundo produto re-cuperável a partir da segunda região.
