Abstract

processo para a produção de células que são capazes de converter arabinose. a invenção é relacionada a um processo para a produção de célula que são capazes de converter arabinose, que compreende as seguintes etapas: a) introdução em uma cepa hospedeira que não pode converter arabinose, dos genes araa, arab e arad, essa célula é designada como célula construída; b) subnissão da célula construída à evolução adaptativa até uma célula que converte arabinose é obtida, c) opcionalmente, submissão da primeira célula de conversão de arabinose à evolução adaptativa para melhorar a conversão de arabinose; a célula produzida na etapa b) ou c) é designada como primeira célula de conversão de arabinose; d) análise do genoma completo ou parte do genoma da primeira célula de conversão de arabinose e aquela da célula construída; e) identificação de polimorfismo de nucleotídeo único (snp's) na primeira célula de conversão de arabinose; e f) uso da informação dos snp's no desenhoracional de uma célula capaz de converter arabinose; g) construção da célula capaz de converter arabinose desenhada na etapa f).
