Abstract

"MéTODO DE PURIFICAçãO DO COPOLìMERO DO ACIDO 3-HIDROXIALCANóICO". Essa invenção tem a finalidade de fornecer um método de purificação do PHA, que é separado das células microbianas contendo PHA, em um alto grau de pureza sem causar uma considerável redução no seu peso molecular. Isto é, um método de purificação de um copolímero do ácido 3-hidroxialcanóico produzido por um microorganismo onde um tratamento com peróxido de hidrogênio é realizado enquanto é feita é realizada a adição de forma contínua ou intermitente de um álcali a uma suspensão aquosa contendo o copolímero do ácido 3-hidroxi-hidroxialcanóico separado do microorganismo para que dessa forma haja o controle do valor do pH da suspensão aquosa.
