Abstract
"PRODUTOS DE LIGA DE ALUMìNIO E MéTODO DE ENVELHECIMENTO ARTIFICIAL". Produtos de liga de alumínio, tais como chapas, forjamentos e extrusões, adequados para uso na fabricação de componentes estruturais aeroespaciais como longarinas integrais de asas, costelas e redes, compreendendo cerca de: 6 a 10% em peso de Zn; 1,2 a 1,9% em peso de Mg; 1,2 a 2,2% em peso de Cu, com Mg (Cu + 0,3); e 0,05 a 0,4% em peso de Zr, o saldo sendo Al, elementos incidentais e impurezas. Provavelmente a liga contém cerca de 6,9 a 8,5% em peso de Zn; 1,2 a 1,7% em peso de Mg; 1,3 a 2% em peso de Cu. Esta liga fornece combinações melhoradas de resistência e dureza de fratura em bitolas grossas. Quando envelhecidas artificialmente pela representação preferida do método de três estágios, esta liga alcança uma performance superior de SCC, inclusive sob condições de litoral.
