Abstract
"DETERMINAçãO DA TINTA E DA SOLUçãO DE UMEDECIMENTO NA IMPRESSãO EM OFFSET". Instrumento óptico para determinar as propriedades das áreas de imagem e de não imagem de chapas de impressão offset. Uma fonte de luz de laser (30) dirige um feixe de laser (35) na camada de superfície (50) de uma chapa de impressão offset (60). Um feixe especularmente refletido (45) é detectado por um detector de luz (40). Adicionalmente, a luz espalhada (55) é detectada por um detector de luz (50). Os detectores (40, 50) produzem sinais de intensidade de luz para a luz refletida e espalhada, respectivamente. Um processador de dados (70) processa os sinais de intensidade para determinar várias propriedades relacionadas à solução de umedecimento e de tinta presentes nas áreas de não imagem e nas de imagem da chapa de impressão, respectivamente. Essas propriedades incluem a espessura da solução de umedecimento em áreas de não imagem, a densidade de imagem em áreas de imagem de uma chapa de impressão em movimento, e a ocorrência de espuma em áreas de não imagem de uma chapa de impressão. Os sinais de intensidade processados também podem ser utilizados para controlar a aplicação de tinta e de solução de umedecimento em uma prensa de impressão offset.
