Abstract

"ELEMENTO DE FORMAçãO DE IMAGEM CONTENDO POLìMERO COMUTáVEL A CALOR E MéTODO DE USO". Um elemento de formação de imagem, como uma chapa de impressão de trabalho negativo ou cilindro em prensa, pode ser preparado utilizando uma camada de formação de imagem hidrofílica compreendida de um polímero hidrofílico sensível a calor que compreende unidades recorrentes compreendendo grupos de carboxilato de amónio quaternário. Em uma modalidade preferida, os grupos de carboxilato de amónio quaternário incluem pelo menos um grupo de fenila- (C~ 1~-C~ 3~) alquileno substituído. O elemento de formação de imagem também pode incluir um material sensível à radiação infravermelha para fornecer sensibilidade aumentada a calor que pode ser fornecido por irradiação a laser na região IR.
