Abstract
"ELEMENTO DE FORMAçãO DE IMAGEM CONTENDO POLìMERO COMUTáVEL A CALOR E MéTODO DE USO". In a preferred embodiment, the quaternary ammonium carboxylate groups include at least one substituted phenyl (C 1 -C 3) alkylene group. The imaging element may also include an infrared sensitive material to provide increased heat sensitivity that may be provided by laser irradiation in the IR region. The heat sensitive polymer is considered "switchable" in response to heat, and provides a lithographic image without wet processing.
