Abstract

"SìLICA ESTABILIZADA E MéTODOS DE PRODUZIR E USAR A MESMO". Uma sílica não-aglomerada de superfície estabilizada é fornecida. A sílica é preparada pelo método de fornecer sílica não-aglomerada, e então tratando a superfície da sílica, desse modo substancialmente prevenindo aglomeração de sílica. A superfície da sílica pode ser tratada com um agente de formação de hidrófobo, tal como um silano, ou um álcool. Concretizações diferentes da invenção ilustram que o agente formação de hidrófobo ou álcool pode ser adicionado em pontos diferentes dentro do processo de formar a sílica não-aglomerada de superfície estabilizada. A sílica não-aglomerada de superfície estabilizada pode ser usada como um aditivo em qualquer aplicação que usa sílica, tal como enchedores de reforço para composições elastoméricas, alimentos, drogas, dentifrícios, tintas, toners, revestimentos e abrasivos.
