Abstract
"TRATAMENTO DE RESINAS PARA DIMINUIR OS NìVEIS DE ESPéCIES PRODUTORAS DE CPD E MELHORAR A ESTABILIDADE DE GELAçãO". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para tratamento de uma composição contendo uma resina de poliamina-epihalohidrina que tem um nível baixo de espécies produtoras de CPD e boa estabilidade de gelação. Uma resina de poliamina-epihalohidrina é preparada com uma razão de epihalohidrina:amina de menos do que cerca de 1,1:1,0. A resina é então submetida a um tratamento de base seguido por um tratamento ácido resultando em uma resina que tem boa estabilidade de gelação sob armazenamento e produz níveis baixos de CPD.
