Abstract

"MéTODOS PARA PREPARAR PARTìCULAS SUBMICRONICAMENTE DIMENSIONADAS DE UM COMPOSTO ORGâNICO, E PARA PREPARAR UMA SUSPENSãO DE UM COMPOSTO FARMACEUTICAMENTE ATIVO, E, COMPOSIçãO DE MATERIAL". A presente invenção provê um método para preparar uma suspensão de um composto farmaceuticamente ativo, cuja solubilidade é maior em um primeiro solvente orgânico miscível em água do que em um segundo solvente que é aquoso. O processo inclui as etapas de: (i) dissolver uma primeira quantidade do composto farmaceuticamente ativo no primeiro solvente orgânico miscível em água, para formar uma primeira solução; (ii) misturar a primeira solução com o segundo solvente, para precipitar o composto farmaceuticamente ativo; e (iii) semear a primeira solução ou o segundo solvente ou a suspensão.
