Abstract

"APARELHO DE LIMPEZA A SECO E MéTODO CAPAZ DE UTILIZAR UMA COMPOSIçãO DE SILOXANO COMO UM SOLVENTE". Um sistema e método são fornecidos para limpar a seco artigos utilizando um solvente de siloxano. O sistema (5) inclui uma cesta de limpeza (10) para receber artigos na mesma e um ou mais tanques (14, 16) para conter um solvente de siloxano. Acoplada entre o tanque e a cesta de limpeza está uma bomba (12) para imergir os artigos na cesta de limpeza com o solvente de siloxano. Também incluído está um aparelho de destilação (24) para destilar o solvente de siloxano sujo para recuperar o solvente de siloxano puro. Um condensador (26) é acoplado á cesta de limpeza e/ou o aparelho de destilação para recuperar vapores condensados. Para decantar qualquer água no solvente de siloxano recebido do condensador, um separador (28) é acoplado ao condensador. Um ventilador (32) é acoplado à cesta de limpeza para circular ar pelo condensador, então as bobinas térmicas (34) e na cesta de limpeza para secar e resfriar os artigos.
