Abstract

Il procedimento per l'eliminazione dei residui di solvente clorurato dalle acque di contatto risultanti dalla asciugatura nelle apparecchiature per la pulitura a secco degli indumenti, secondo la presente invenzione, consiste nell'evaporare l'acqua di contatto decantata e contenente i residui di solvente clorurato e nell'irradiare i vapori così prodotti con radiazione ultravioletta, rompendo il legame cloro-carbonio della molecola di solvente, prima dello scarico nell'atmosfera. Il dispositivo secondo l'invenzione comprende una camera di vaporizzazione (7) e mezzi (9) per vaporizzare l'acqua di contatto e i residui di solvente, nonché una lampada (12) a luce ultravioletta disposta in un alloggiamento (11) laterale esterno della camera di vaporizzazione (7) comunicante con detta camera attraverso una finestra (10) chiusa da una lastra di vetro al quarzo.
