Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A HIDRO-OXIDAçãO DE OLEFINAS A óXIDOS DE OLEFINAS USANDO CATALISADOR DE OURO OXIDADO, COMPOSIçãO DE CATALISADOR E MéTODO PARA PREPARAR UMA COMPOSIçãO DE CATALISADOR". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo e um catalisador para a hidro-oxidação de uma olefina tendo três ou mais átomos de carbono, tais como propileno, para formar um óxido de olefina, tal como óxido de propileno. O processo envolve contatar a olefina com oxigênio sob condições de reação na presença de hidrogênio e um catalisador. O catalisador contêm ouro oxidado disperso em um suporte contendo titânio, preferivelmente, um suporte tendo uma pluralidade de ambientes de coordenação de titânio, por exemplo, titânio enxertado sobre um titanossilicato. A seletividade ao óxido de olefina é alta a uma boa conversão de olefina. O catalisador usa hidrogênio eficientemente e exibe uma longa vida útil.
