Abstract
Microorganismo modificado que presenta un aumento de la actividad de reductasas de metilglioxal. Asimismo, se refiere a su uso para la preparacion de 1,2-propanodiol y/o acetol. En particular, este aumento de la actividad de reductasas de metilglioxal se obtiene mediante el aumento de la expresion de genes específicos a partir de microorganismos. Procedimiento para la produccion de 1,2-propanodiol y/o acetol mediante fermentacion por los microorganismos divulgados. Reivindicacion 37: Microorganismo segun cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 36, en el que el microorganismo se selecciona del grupo formado por bacterias, levadura y hongos. Reivindicacion 39: el microorganismo de la reivindicacion 38, en el que el microorganismo es Escherichia coli o Clostridium acetobutylicum. Reivindicacion 44: Microorganismo de la reivindicacion 43, en el que el microorganismo es Escherichia coli o Klebsiella pneumoniae.
