Abstract

Predmetni pronalazak obezbedjuje farmaceutske preparate koji sadrze jednu ili vise jedinica doze za oralnu primenu, od kojih svaka sadrzi terapeutski efikasnu kollcnu jedinjenja selektivnog inhibitora ciklooksigenaze-2, slabe rastvorljivosti u vodi, naznacenog time sto je jedinjenje prisutno u obliku cvrstih cestica, od kojih je maseni udeo cestica manjih od 1 µm, od 25% do 100%. Preparati su korisni u lecenju ili prevenciji stanja ili poremecaja izazvanih posredstvom ciklooksigenaze-2 i imaju posebne prednosti kada se zeli postici brz pocetak terapeutskog efekta. Opisani su novi kristalni oblici celecoxib-a, Oblik I i Oblik II. Ovi kristalni oblici imaju jedinstvena hemijska i fizicka svojstva u odnosu na druge cvrste oblike celecoxib-a i okarakterisani su difrakcionim slikama koje se dobijaju difrakcijom x-zraka na njihovom prahu (PXRD), termogramima dobijenim diferencijalnom skenirajucom kalorimetrijom (DSC) i drugim fizickim karakterizacijama.
