Abstract
Ovaj pronalazak se odnosi na anti-trombin polipeptide koji su izolovani iz pijavice Hirudinaria manillensis i na postupak za njihovu izradu. Polipeptidi pronalaska mogu da se modifikuju pomoću amino kiselinskog proširenja na oba ili na svakom kraju, i mogu da se podvrgnu naknadnoj translacionoj modifikaciji. Anti-trombin polipeptidi mogu da se izrade izolujući ih iz tkiva ili izlučevina pijavice Hirudinaria manillensis ali oni isto tako mogu da se sintetizuju pomoću postupaka rekombinantne DNK. Prema ovom poslednjem vidu, pronalazak daje DNK sekvence, ekspresione vektore i sojeve ćelije domaćina za rekombinantnu iz-radu polipeptida. Anti-trombin polipeptidi pronalaska nalaze korisnu primenu u lečenju venske tromboze, okluzije vaskularnog odliva i trombinom izazvanu rasejanu intravaskularnu koagulaciju.
