Description

含金属添加剤、架橋性高分子組成物、架橋高分子材料、金属部材ならびにワイヤーハーネス
 本開示は、含金属添加剤、架橋性高分子組成物、架橋高分子材料、金属部材ならびにワイヤーハーネスに関する。
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体は、種々の材料を製造するための製造原料として広く用いられている。例えば、特許文献1,2にも記載されるように、化学気相堆積法(CVD法)による金属酸化物薄膜形成の原料として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体が好適に用いられている。β-ジケトナト金属錯体が、用途に適した特性を有するものとなるように、化学構造の検討が行われている。
 具体例として、特許文献1では、低い融点を有し、水分、空気及び熱に対しての安定性に優れ、CVD法による金属薄膜形成に適した金属錯体とする観点から、アルコキシアルキルメチル基を有するβ-ジケトナト金属錯体とすることが開示されている。また、特許文献2では、気化温度を低温化し、酸化物薄膜形成用の材料として適したものとする観点から、アセチルアセトンを配位子とする金属錯体とオルトフェナントロリン誘導体の付加体または2,2′-ビピリジル誘導体の付加体から成る酸化物薄膜形成用金属アセチルアセトナト錯体を開示している。
国際公開第2005/087697号 特開平5-106045号公報
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体をCVD法等による製膜原料として用いる場合には、特許文献1や特許文献2に記載されるように、ある程度低温で融解や気化を起こすものが好適であると言える。一方、β-ジケトナト金属錯体を、製膜原料以外の用途に用いる場合に、β-ジケトナト金属錯体が、融解や気化等の変化を低温で起こすことが、必ずしも好ましいとは言えない。例えば、熱分解や相転移によってβ-ジケトナト金属錯体から金属イオンを遊離させ、金属イオン源として利用するような用途も考えられる。そのような場合に、金属イオンを遊離させるために加熱を行う前の、保存や材料調製を行っている段階では、β-ジケトナト金属錯体が安定にその構造を保持し、容易には分解等の変性を起こさないことが好ましい。つまり、β-ジケトナト金属錯体が高い保存安定性を有することが好ましい。
 本開示の解決しようとする課題は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体を含み、保存安定性に優れた含金属添加剤および架橋性高分子組成物、またそのような架橋性高分子組成物を用いて構成される架橋高分子材料、金属部材ならびにワイヤーハーネスを提供することにある。
 本開示にかかる含金属添加剤は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体と、炭素数が4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールとを含む。
 本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、前記含金属添加剤と、有機高分子と、を含み、前記有機高分子は、熱により前記含金属添加剤から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基を有している。
 本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料は、前記架橋性高分子組成物の架橋体であり、前記有機高分子が前記含金属添加剤から遊離した前記金属イオンを介して架橋されている。
 本開示にかかる金属部材は、金属基材と、前記金属基材の表面を被覆する被覆材と、を有し、前記被覆材が、前記架橋高分子材料で構成される。
 本開示にかかるワイヤーハーネスは、前記架橋高分子材料を含む。
 本開示にかかる含金属添加剤および架橋性高分子組成物は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体を含み、保存安定性に優れたものとなる。また、本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料、金属部材ならびにワイヤーハーネスは、そのような架橋性高分子組成物を用いて構成されるものとなる。

[本開示の実施形態の説明]
 最初に本開示の実施態様を列記して説明する。
 本開示にかかる含金属添加剤は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体と、炭素数が4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールとを含む。
 発明者らは、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に、炭素数が4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールを添加することで、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の錯構造が安定化されることを見出した。錯構造の安定化により、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の保存安定性を、アルキルアルコールを添加しない場合よりも高めることができる。つまり、常温等の比較的低い温度で、長期にわたって安定に保存できるようになる。含金属添加剤がβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を含有していることで、加熱により金属イオンを遊離させ、例えば、有機高分子を金属架橋させるための添加剤として使用することが考えられるが、この添加剤が高い保存安定性を有することで、使用前に添加剤を保存している状態や、組成物の混合等、材料調製を行っている状態においては、金属イオンを遊離させない状態に添加剤を安定に保持することができる。
 ここで、前記アルキルアルコールは、直鎖アルキルアルコールであるとよい。すると、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の錯構造を安定化する効果に優れ、含金属添加剤や、含金属添加剤を含有する組成物の保存安定性を効果的に高めることができる。
 モル比で、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対して、前記アルキルアルコールが2倍以上含有されているとよい。すると、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の錯構造の安定性を高めるのに、十分な量のアルキルアルコールが含有されることになり、保存安定性の高い含金属添加剤とする効果に優れる。
 前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体を構成する金属は、アルカリ土類金属、亜鉛、チタン、アルミニウムのうちの少なくとも1種を含むとよい。それらの金属のβ-ジケトナト錯体は、高い安定性を有するうえ、アルキルアルコールを添加されることで、さらにその安定性が高まり、特に保存安定性に優れた含金属添加剤となる。また、それらの金属は2価以上の価数を有するため、有機高分子の架橋に用いた際に、安定な架橋体を与えるものとなる。
 前記アルキルアルコールの少なくとも一部は、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体の金属に配位しているとよい。アルキルアルコールが、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の金属に配位することで、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の錯構造を効果的に安定化することができる。
 前記含金属添加剤は、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体よりも高い保存安定性を有し、50℃以上200℃以下の温度で金属イオンを遊離させるものであるとよい。すると、含金属添加剤において、室温等での保存の安定性と、加熱による効果的な遊離金属イオンの利用を、両立することができる。
 本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、前記含金属添加剤と、有機高分子と、を含み、前記有機高分子は、熱により前記含金属添加剤から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基を有している。
 上記架橋性高分子組成物を加熱すると、含金属添加剤から遊離した金属イオンを介して有機高分子が架橋される。そのため、加熱を経て、高い耐熱性を有する有機高分子の硬化体を形成することができる。一方、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物に含まれる含金属添加剤が、高い保存安定性を有しているため、加熱を行わない状態では、架橋性高分子組成物が流動性の高い状態、あるいは軟質の状態にある。そのため、金属表面等に塗布する等、架橋性高分子組成物を所望の位置および形態に、簡便にまた均一性の高い状態で配置してから、硬化させることができる。その結果、緻密な組織を有する硬化体を得ることができる。
 前記有機高分子の前記置換基は、カルボン酸基、酸無水物基、リン酸基、スルホン酸基のうちの少なくとも1種であるとよい。それらの官能基は、含金属添加剤から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成しやすいため、架橋性高分子組成物が、架橋性に優れたものとなる。
 前記有機高分子は、150℃以下において液状であるとよい。すると、比較的低温にて、金属表面に塗布する等、架橋性高分子組成物を所望の位置および形態に配置しやすい。
 前記有機高分子100質量部に対し、前記含金属添加剤が0.2質量部以上30質量部以下含まれるとよい。すると、十分な量の含金属添加剤が含有されることで、架橋性高分子組成物が優れた架橋性を有するとともに、含金属成分の分離や沈殿等、多量の含金属添加剤が含有されることの影響を避けやすい。
 本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料は、前記架橋性高分子組成物の架橋体であり、前記有機高分子が前記含金属添加剤から遊離した前記金属イオンを介して架橋されている。高い保存安定性を有する含金属添加剤から加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させ、その金属イオンによって有機高分子を架橋させることにより、架橋高分子材料が構成されるため、所望の位置に、所望の形態で、高い耐熱性を有する硬化体として、架橋性高分子材料を簡便に配置することができる。
 本開示にかかる金属部材は、金属基材と、前記金属基材の表面を被覆する被覆材と、を有し、前記被覆材が、前記架橋高分子材料で構成される。金属基材の表面が、前記架橋高分子材料より構成される被覆材で被覆されることにより、金属部材が防食性に優れたものとなり、加熱を受けても、その高い防食性を有する状態が維持される。また、架橋高分子材料が、原料として、高い保存安定性を有する上記の含金属添加剤を用いたものであることで、そのような被覆材を有する金属材を、簡便に形成することができる。
 本開示にかかるワイヤーハーネスは、前記架橋高分子材料を含む。このワイヤーハーネスは、前記架橋高分子材料を含むことで、防食性に優れたものとなり、加熱を受けても、その高い防食性を有する状態が維持される。また、架橋高分子材料が、原料として、高い保存安定性を有する上記の含金属添加剤を用いたものであることで、そのような防食性に優れたワイヤーハーネスを、簡便に形成することができる。
[本開示の実施形態の詳細]
 本開示の含金属添加剤、架橋性高分子組成物、架橋高分子材料、金属部材ならびにワイヤーハーネスの具体例を、以下に図面を参照しつつ説明する。なお、本開示はこれらの例示に限定されるものではない。
[1]含金属添加剤
 本開示にかかる含金属添加剤は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体と、炭素数が4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコール(以下、単にアルキルアルコールと称する場合がある)とを含んでいる。β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールが添加されることで、そのβ-ジケトナト金属錯体単独の場合よりも、高い保存安定性を有するものとなる。ここで、保存安定性が高いとは、常温等の低い温度で、分解等の品質変化を起こしにくく、その温度で、より長い時間、化学構造および物性を維持して保存できることを意味する。
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体は、β-ジケトナト配位子(1,3-ジケトナト配位子)が中心金属に配位されたものである。β-ジケトナト配位子は、下記の一般式(1)で表され、中心金属に対して二座配位する。

 式(1)において、R,R,Rは、炭化水素基を表す。R,R,Rは、互いに同じ構造の炭化水素基であってもよいし、互いに異なる構造の炭化水素基であってもよい。R,R,Rは、脂肪族炭化水素基であってもよいし、芳香環を含む炭化水素基であってもよい。R,R,Rは、炭素数1以上10以下の炭化水素基であるとよい。Rは水素であってもよい。R,R,Rのうち少なくとも2つが、環構造によって相互に連結されている場合も含む。
 β-ジケトナト配位子としては、アセチルアセトナト配位子(acac)、2,2,6,6-テトラメチル-3,5-ヘプタンジオナト配位子(dpm)、3-メチル-2,4-ペンタジオナト配位子、3-エチル-2,4-ペンタジオナト配位子、3,5-ヘプタンジオナト配位子、2,6-ジメチル-3,5-ヘプタンジオナト配位子、1,3-ジフェニル-1,3-プロパンジオナト配位子などが挙げられる。これらの配位子のうち、アルキルアルコールの添加による安定化効果の大きさ等の観点から、アセチルアセトナト配位子が、特に好ましい。配位子としては、1種のみを用いても、2種以上を併用してもよい。
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体を構成する金属種は、特に限定されるものではないが、アルカリ土類金属、亜鉛、チタン、アルミニウム、鉄、ニッケル、銅、ジルコニウムなどが挙げられる。好ましくは、アルカリ土類金属、亜鉛、チタン、アルミニウムのうちの少なくとも1種であるとよい。これらの金属を中心金属とするβ-ジケトナト金属錯体は、高い安定性を有し、アルキルアルコールを添加することで、さらにその安定性が高くなる。また、これらの金属の金属イオンは2価以上の価数を有し、次に説明する架橋性高分子組成物において、含金属添加剤から金属イオンを遊離させて、有機高分子を金属架橋させる際に、高い架橋性が得られる。β-ジケトナト金属錯体を構成する金属種は、1種のみであっても、2種以上であってもよい。
 下の式(2)に、例として、平面四配位をとる2価の金属イオンを中心金属とする場合のβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の構造を示す。ここでは式(1)のRは水素原子としている。

 含金属添加剤に用いるアルキルアルコールは、炭素数4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールであり、以下の式(3)の構造を有している。

 ここで、Rは炭素数4以上、30以下のアルキル基である。
 本実施形態にかかる金属添加剤においては、熱により、つまり常温より高い温度に加熱することにより、β-ジケトナト金属錯体から金属イオンが遊離する。しかし、後の実施例にも示すように、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールが添加されていることにより、常温等、熱を受けない状態では、β-ジケトナト金属錯体自体よりも、保存安定性が向上している。β-ジケトナト金属錯体自体も、ある程度高い保存安定性を有し、常温等の比較的低温では、容易には分解等の変性を起こさない場合が多いが、アルキルアルコールを添加することで、さらに保存安定性が向上され、常温等の比較的低温で、分解等によって金属イオンを遊離させるのを、長期間にわたって効果的に抑制することができる。一方で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体は、熱を受けた際には、分解等によって金属イオンを遊離させ、次に説明する架橋性高分子組成物における金属架橋等、金属イオンの存在を必要とする反応を進めることができる。加熱による金属イオンの遊離は、アルキルアルコールを添加した状態でも、同様に起こる。金属イオンの遊離が起こる温度も、アルキルアルコールの添加によってほぼ変化しない。このように、β-ジケトナト金属錯体へのアルキルアルコールの添加によって、加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させる特性を維持しながら、常温等、比較的低温での保存安定性を一層高めることで、金属イオンの遊離が所望されない低温の状況における変質の抑制と、使用に伴う加熱時等、金属イオンの遊離が所望される状況における効率的な金属イオンの遊離とを、両立することができる。
 アルキルアルコールの添加によって、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の保存安定性が向上することは、β-ジケトナト金属錯体へのアルキルアルコールの再配位により説明することができる。再配位とは、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の中心金属に、β-ジケトナト配位子に加えて、アルキルアルコールが配位する現象を指す。アルキルアルコールは、アルコキシ配位子の形で再配位する。例えば、式(2)のβ-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコキシ配位子が再配位した構造を、下の式(4)のように表すことができる。

 ここでは、アルキルアルコールのアルキル鎖を波線で表示している。
 式(2)に示したようなβ-ジケトナト金属錯体においては、中心金属がβ-ジケトナト配位子に保護されて、安定性の高い状態にあると言える。しかし、中心金属の大きさや、配位子自体の構造、また配位構造による立体障害等に起因して、錯構造が最安定構造をとれずに、歪みを残している場合がある。この歪みは、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の構造を不安定化する要因となる。しかし、アルキルアルコールの少なくとも一部が式(4)のように再配位することで、アルキル鎖の柔軟性により、錯構造の歪みが緩和され、中心金属に対する保護性が高まるものと推測される。なお、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に、β-ジケトナト配位子に加えて、β-ジケトナト配位子以外の配位子を配位させることができ、さらにその結果として錯体の性質を改変できることは、保存安定性の向上には言及していないものの、非特許文献1,2にも報告されている。
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加した際に、アルキルアルコールの再配位が起こることは、後に示す実施例において、赤外吸収スペクトルを元にした検討からも、示唆されている。アルキルアルコールの再配位以外にも、アルキルアルコールの添加による保存安定性の向上の起源として想定しうる事象には、アルキルアルコキシドによる一部のβ-ジケトナト配位子の置換や、複塩の形成等も考えられる。
 アルキルアルコール以外にも、金属に配位可能な官能基とアルキル鎖とを有する化合物を、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に添加することで、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の構造の安定化を図れる可能性がある。しかし、後に示す実施例で試験を行った、官能基としてカルボキシル基等の有機酸基、アミノ基、エポキシ基を有する化合物をはじめとする各種化合物の中で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に添加した際に、50℃以上200℃以下程度の温度での加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させる特性を維持しながら、保存安定性を向上させる効果を有する化合物は、発明者らによる探索において、アルキルアルコール以外には見出されていない。β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加する場合には、カルボキシル基を有する化合物等、中心金属との間にさらに強い結合を形成して再配位する化合物を添加する場合とは異なり、錯構造の安定化が強力になりすぎないため、常温等における保温安定性の向上に効果を発揮しながらも、加熱時には、錯構造の分解等により、容易に金属イオンを遊離させることができる。
 アルキルアルコールが、一級アルコールであることにより、おそらく立体障害の小ささに関連して、二級アルコールや三級アルコールである場合よりも、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の安定化に高い効果を示す。また、アルキルアルコールを構成するアルキル基(R)の炭素数が、4以上であることで、含金属添加剤の保存安定性の向上に、高い効果が得られる。さらに好ましくは、アルキル基の炭素数は、5以上であるとよい。一方、アルキル基の炭素数が30以下であることで、β-ジケトナト金属錯体との相溶性が良好なものとなる。さらに好ましくは、アルキル基の炭素数は、24以下であるとよい。また、アルキルアルコールが、アルキル基の末端に水酸基が結合された一級アルコールであれば、アルキル基は、中途に分岐を有するものであってもよいが、保存安定性向上の効果を高める観点から、直鎖アルキル基であることが好ましい。また、アルキルアルコールは、水酸基以外の官能基を有さないものであることが好ましい。好適なアルキルアルコールとして、1-ペンタノール、1-オクタノール、1-ドデカノール、1-ヘキサデカノール等を挙げることができる。アルキルアルコールは、1種のみであっても、2種以上であってもよい。
 保存安定性向上の効果を高める観点から、モル比で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対して、アルキルアルコールが2倍以上含有されていることが好ましい。さらに好ましくは、3倍以上、また5倍以上であるとよい。アルキルアルコールの添加量の上限は、特に定められないが、必要とされるβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の量に対して、含金属添加剤全体の量を過剰に多くしないようにする等の観点から、モル比で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対して、15倍以下に抑えておくとよい。
 本実施形態にかかる含金属添加剤は、例えば、β-ジケトナト金属錯体とアルキルアルコールを、所定の配合比で混合し、攪拌することで、調製することができる。攪拌の際に、必要に応じて加熱をしてもよい。
 含金属添加剤は、次に説明する架橋性高分子組成物中などにおいて、50℃以上200℃以下の温度で、分解や相転移(融解を除く)等により、金属イオンを遊離させるものであることが好ましい。すると、常温での保存中や、他の物質との混合等によって材料調製を行っている間は、金属イオンの遊離が抑えられ、保存性や取り扱い性に優れるとともに、適度な温度での加熱によって、含金属添加剤から金属イオンが遊離しやすく、次に説明する架橋性高分子組成物の硬化等、金属イオンの存在を必要とする現象を進行させやすくなる。好ましくは、含金属添加剤は、150℃以下の温度で、金属イオンを遊離させるものであるとよい。なお、含金属添加剤の分解点または相転移点は、示差走査熱量測定(Differential scanning calorimetry:DSC)によるベースライン変化開始温度で表すことができる。含金属添加剤が、分解や相転移等により、金属イオンを遊離させる温度は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体およびアルキルアルコールの具体的な種類、およびそれらの成分の配合比等によって、調整することができる。
 以上に説明した本実施形態にかかる含金属添加剤は、次に説明する架橋性高分子組成物の成分として用いられ、加熱によって遊離する金属イオンが、有機高分子を金属架橋する役割を果たす。含金属添加剤の用途は、有機高分子の金属架橋に限定されるものではなく、加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させ、その金属イオンを化学反応等に利用できる、種々の用途に適用可能である。それらの用途としては、帯電防止等を目的とした表面加工処理、塗料や接着剤の改質等を例示することができる。また、以上に説明した含金属添加剤は、成分としてβ-ジケトナト金属錯体とアルキルアルコールのみを含むものであり、続く架橋性高分子組成物に関する説明でも、他の成分との配合比等に言及する際に、それら2成分の合計量を、含金属添加剤の添加量として扱っているが、それら2成分より構成される含金属添加剤に、さらに他の成分を添加して、含金属添加剤組成物の形で使用してもよい。他の成分としては、溶剤、色素、増粘剤、酸化防止剤、腐食防止剤等を例示することができる。
[2]架橋性高分子組成物および架橋高分子材料
 本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、A成分として、上記で説明した本開示の実施形態にかかる含金属添加剤と、B成分として、A成分から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基を有する有機高分子を含む。本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、加熱を経て、A成分から遊離した金属イオンを介して、B成分が架橋されることで、硬化を起こし、本開示の実施形態にかかる架橋高分子材料を構成する。
 B成分としての有機高分子において、金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基としては、カルボン酸基、酸無水物基、リン酸基、スルホン酸基などが挙げられる。上記置換基には、水酸基は含まれない。上記置換基は、1種のみであってもよいし、2種以上であってもよい。上記置換基は、例示した置換基のうちの少なくとも1種であるとよい。A成分から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成しやすいからである。また、上記置換基は、電子求引性基であるとよい。A成分から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成しやすいからである。
 B成分における上記置換基の含有量は、特に限定されるものではないが、架橋による物性確保などの観点から、0.01質量%以上10質量%以下であることが好ましい。上限に関して、より好ましくは0.1質量%以上、さらに好ましくは0.2質量%以上であり、下限に関して、より好ましくは5質量%以下、さらに好ましくは3質量%以下である。B成分における上記置換基の含有量は、赤外吸収スペクトルの置換基特有ピークの大きさを、含有量既知の材料のスペクトルピークの大きさと比較することにより求めることができる。
 B成分の有機高分子は、樹脂、ゴム、エラストマーをはじめとする有機重合体である。B成分は、常温において液状であってもよいし、常温において固形状であってもよいが、150℃以下において液状であることが好ましい。比較的低温にて、金属表面などに塗布する等、架橋性高分子組成物を所望の位置および形態に、簡便に配置できるからである。なお、単独のB成分のみならず、架橋性高分子組成物全体としても、150℃以下、さらには常温にて液状であることが好ましい。また、架橋性高分子組成物の調製が容易となるからである。さらに、B成分は、常温において液状であるとよい。B成分は、分子量1000以上であることが好ましい。常温において液状であっても、架橋によって容易に硬化するからである。一方で、常温において液状となりやすいなどの観点から、B成分は、分子量100000以下であることが好ましい。より好ましくは分子量50000以下である。B成分の分子量は、ゲル浸透クロマトグラフィー(GPC)分析による数平均分子量(Mn)で表される。
 B成分の有機高分子としては、ポリオレフィン、ポリブタジエン、ポリイソプレン、ポリアクリレート、ポリメタクリレート、ポリウレタン、ポリエステル、オルガノポリシロキサン(シリコーン)などが挙げられる。B成分の置換基は、有機高分子の主鎖に導入されたものであってもよいし、側鎖に導入されたものであってもよい。B成分の有機高分子としては、常温における流動性の確保などの観点から、ポリブタジエン、ポリイソプレンが特に好ましい。本明細書において、有機高分子には、オリゴマー等、比較的重合度の低い重合体も含むものとする。
 架橋性高分子組成物におけるA成分の含有量としては、B成分100質量部に対し、A成分が0.2質量部以上含まれるようにするとよい。すると、B成分に対する架橋性が十分に得られる。さらに好ましくは、A成分の含有量が、1質量部以上、また2質量部以上、3質量部以上であるとよい。一方、A成分の含有量は、B成分100質量部に対し、30質量部以下に抑えておくとよい。すると、架橋性高分子組成物の架橋前の状態において、A成分の分離や沈殿を避けやすく、また架橋後の状態においても、A成分の凝集や、脆化等、架橋体の物性の低下が起こりにくい。さらに好ましくは、A成分の含有量が、20質量部以下、また15質量部以下であるとよい。
 本開示の架橋性高分子組成物は、材料の機能を妨げない範囲において、上記A成分およびB成分に加え、希釈剤、分散剤、着色剤、防食性成分などの添加剤を適宜含んでいてもよい。上の含金属添加剤の項で説明したように、カルボキシル基等の有機酸基、アミノ基、エポキシ基等、金属に配位しうる官能基を有する各種化合物で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に添加した際に、50℃以上200℃以下程度の温度での加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させる特性を維持しながら、保存安定性を向上させる効果を有する添加剤は、発明者らによる探索において、アルキルアルコール以外には見出されていない。保存安定性向上等の効果に乏しいとしても、保存安定性や架橋性等、架橋性高分子組成物が有する特性を著しく損なうものでない限り、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に配位しうる官能基を有するアルキルアルコール以外の化合物を、架橋性高分子組成物に添加することを妨げるものではない。ただし、含有基酸化合物等、A成分のβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を不活性化する物質や、含有機アミン化合物等、β-ジケトナト金属錯体を不安定化する物質、またエポキシ基を有する化合物等、B成分の官能基を不活性化する物質は、架橋性高分子組成物に含有されないことが好ましい。
 加えて、架橋性高分子組成物は、光硬化性材料、湿気硬化性材料、嫌気硬化性材料、カチオン硬化性材料、アニオン硬化性材料、熱硬化性材料等、各種硬化性材料を含まないことが好ましい。また、本開示の架橋性高分子組成物において、B成分が150℃以下あるいは常温で液状である場合には、150℃以下あるいは常温で固体である高分子成分は、含有されない方が好ましい。さらに好ましくは、架橋性高分子組成物は、高分子成分としてB成分のみを含むものであるとよい。さらに、架橋性高分子組成物に含まれない方がよい成分として、以下の(a)~(f)群の化合物を挙げることができる。つまり、(a)シランカップリング剤、(b)エポキシ化合物、(c)イソシアネート、イソチオシアネート化合物、(d)光ラジカル発生剤、熱ラジカル発生剤、(e)塩素化合物、臭素化合物を挙げることができる。(a)~(d)群の化合物が架橋性高分子組成物に含まれると、加熱時に、A成分から遊離した金属イオンを介した架橋反応とは別の反応によるB成分の架橋や、B成分の主鎖の開裂等、意図しない化学反応が生じる可能性がある。すると、耐熱性等、架橋高分子材料の特性が十分に発揮されなくなる可能性がある。また、(e)群の化合物が架橋性高分子組成物に含まれると、加熱によって、着色や腐食性ガスの発生が起こる可能性がある。
 架橋性高分子組成物は、あらかじめ調製しておいたA成分を、B成分に添加して混合し、A成分をB成分中で分散させることにより、容易に調製することができる。架橋性高分子組成物の調製に際し、混合を常温で行うことが好ましいが、必要に応じて加熱をしてもよい。
 以上の構成を有する本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物によれば、熱によってA成分から金属イオンが遊離し、遊離した金属イオンがB成分の置換基とイオン結合を形成することで、イオン結合を介してB成分の有機高分子が架橋する。イオン結合の形成速度は共有結合の形成速度よりも速く、このため、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、硬化速度に優れる。また、A成分は熱によって金属イオンが遊離するものであり、金属イオンが遊離する温度まではA成分から金属イオンが遊離せず、イオン結合によるB成分の有機高分子の架橋は進行しない。したがって、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、保存安定性にも優れるうえ、架橋前の流動性の高い状態、あるいは軟質の状態で、金属表面への塗布等、所望の位置および形態に配置したうえで、加熱を行うことで、被覆膜等、所望の形態の硬化体を、均一性の高い組織を備えるものとして、簡便に形成することができる。さらに、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、イオン結合を介してB成分の有機高分子が架橋するものであり、結合力がファンデルワールス力よりも強く、強靭な架橋体を形成する。また本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、イオン結合を介してB成分の有機高分子が架橋するものであることにより、耐熱性に優れ、耐薬品性にも優れる。
 本実施形態にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、加熱によって硬化を進行させられるという点において、熱硬化性樹脂と類似の方法で使用することができる。よって、他種の硬化性を有する硬化性樹脂との比較において、熱硬化性樹脂が有する利点を、熱硬化性樹脂と同様に享受することができる。そのような利点として、例えば、光硬化性樹脂における光照射、湿気硬化性樹脂における湿気の供給、嫌気硬化性樹脂における酸素の遮断等の操作を硬化のために必要としない点、またカチオン硬化性樹脂やアニオン硬化性樹脂の場合のような、塗布面の腐食についての懸念がない点を挙げることができる。しかし、一般の熱硬化性樹脂においては、速硬化性と保存安定性の両立に困難があるのに対し、本実施形態にかかる架橋性高分子組成物においては、速硬化性と保存安定性を両立することができる。エポキシ樹脂等、一般の熱硬化性樹脂においては、硬化開始温度を低くすることで、硬化性を高めることができるが、すると、常温等の比較的低い温度でも、硬化の進行を十分に抑えにくくなり、保存安定性が低くなるのに対し、本実施形態にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、上記で説明したように、常温等、比較的低温では、A成分が金属イオンを遊離させない状態に安定に保持される一方、加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させると、B成分の金属架橋を進行させうるからである。また、一般の熱硬化性樹脂においては、加熱による硬化に長い時間を要するのに対し、本実施形態にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、A成分から金属イオンが遊離する温度まで加熱すれば、比較的短時間で硬化を進行させることができる。
 本実施形態においては、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体とアルキルアルコールを含んだ含金属添加剤を用いているが、A成分としてβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を単独で用いても、加熱による金属イオンの遊離を経て、B成分を架橋させ、高い速硬化性を発揮することができる。その場合にも、ある程度高い保存安定性が得られる。しかし、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加することで、上記で含金属添加剤について説明したように、β-ジケトナト金属錯体そのものを用いる場合よりも、含金属添加剤として、高い保存安定性を有するものとなる。その含金属添加剤を、B成分の有機高分子と混合した架橋性高分子組成物の状態においても、含金属添加剤へのアルキルアルコールの添加による保存安定性向上の効果が保持され、β-ジケトナト金属錯体そのものを用いる場合よりも、組成物全体として、高い保存安定性を示す。例えば、比較的高い温度での保存や、長期の保存を経ても、変質を起こしにくくなる。一方で、加熱によって金属イオンを遊離させてB成分を金属架橋させることで、高い速硬化性を示すというβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の特性は、含金属添加剤へのアルキルアルコールの添加を経ても、維持される。
 本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、上記のように、熱によって容易に架橋・硬化する。本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料は、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物の架橋体で構成されたものである。架橋体においては、架橋性高分子組成物中のB成分が、A成分から遊離した金属イオンを介して架橋された状態にある。
 本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、保護材料、接着材料、硬化成形材料等として好適に用いることができる。防食用途に用いることもできる。例えば、表面保護対象の金属基材の表面に密着させて、金属基材を覆って金属腐食を防止する防食用として用いることができる。また、防食用途として、例えば端子付き被覆電線の防食剤などとして用いることができる。
[3]金属部材
 次に、本開示にかかる金属部材について説明する。図1には、一実施形態にかかる金属部材の断面図を示している。
 金属部材10は、金属基材12と、金属基材12の表面を被覆する被覆材14と、を有し、被覆材14が、本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料、つまり本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物の架橋体(硬化物)で構成される。架橋性高分子組成物の速硬化性と保存安定性の効果により、被覆材14の層を、緻密な膜として形成しやすいため、被覆材14により、金属基材12に対して、高い防食性が発揮される。
[4]ワイヤーハーネス
 次に、本開示にかかるワイヤーハーネスについて説明する。本開示にかかるワイヤーハーネスは、本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料を含むものである。具体的には、例えば、ワイヤーハーネスにおける端子付き被覆電線の端子金具と電線導体の間の電気接続部を覆う防食剤などに、本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料を用いる形態が挙げられる。
 以下に、本開示にかかるワイヤーハーネスを構成する端子付き被覆電線について説明する。端子付き被覆電線は、絶縁電線の導体端末に端子金具が接続されたものにおいて、本開示にかかる架橋高分子材料(本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物の硬化物)により端子金具と電線導体の間の電気接続部が覆われたものからなる。この構造により、電気接続部での腐食が防止される。
 図2は、本開示の一実施形態にかかる端子付き被覆電線の斜視図であり、図3は図2におけるA-A線縦断面図である。図2、図3に示すように、端子付き被覆電線1は、電線導体3が絶縁被覆(絶縁体)4により被覆された被覆電線2の電線導体3と端子金具5が、電気接続部6により電気的に接続されている。
 端子金具5は、相手側端子と接続される細長い平板からなるタブ状の接続部51と、接続部51の端部に延設形成されているワイヤバレル52とインシュレーションバレル53からなる電線固定部54を有する。端子金具5は、金属製の板材をプレス加工することにより所定の形状に成形(加工)することができる。
 電気接続部6では、被覆電線2の端末の絶縁被覆4を皮剥ぎして、電線導体3を露出させ、この露出させた電線導体3が端子金具5の片面側に圧着されて、被覆電線2と端子金具5が接続される。端子金具5のワイヤバレル52を被覆電線2の電線導体3の上から加締め、電線導体3と端子金具5が電気的に接続される。また、端子金具5のインシュレーションバレル53を、被覆電線2の絶縁被覆4の上から加締める。
 端子付き被覆電線1において、一点鎖線で示した範囲が、本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物の硬化物7により覆われる。具体的には、電線導体3の絶縁被覆4から露出する部分のうち先端より先の端子金具5の表面から、電線導体3の絶縁被覆4から露出する部分のうち後端より後の絶縁被覆4の表面までの範囲が、硬化物7により覆われる。つまり、被覆電線2の先端2a側は、電線導体3の先端から端子金具5の接続部51側に少しはみ出すように硬化物7で覆われる。端子金具5の端縁5a側は、インシュレーションバレル53の端部から被覆電線2の絶縁被覆4側に少しはみ出すように硬化物7で覆われる。そして、図3に示すように、端子金具5の側面5bも硬化物7で覆われる。なお、端子金具5の裏面5cは硬化物7で覆われなくてもよいし、覆われていてもよい。硬化物7の周端は、端子金具5の表面に接触する部分と、電線導体3の表面に接触する部分と、絶縁被覆4の表面に接触する部分と、で構成される。
 こうして、端子金具5と被覆電線2の外側周囲の形状に沿って、電気接続部6が硬化物7により所定の厚さで覆われる。被覆電線2の電線導体3の露出した部分は、硬化物7により完全に覆われて、外部に露出しないようになる。したがって、電気接続部6は硬化物7により完全に覆われる。硬化物7は、電線導体3、絶縁被覆4、端子金具5のいずれとも密着性に優れるので、硬化物7により、電線導体3および電気接続部6に外部から水分等が侵入して金属部分が腐食するのを防止する。また、硬化物7が密着性に優れるため、例えばワイヤーハーネスの製造から車両等の取り付け対象に取り付けるまでの過程において、電線が曲げられた場合にも、硬化物7の周端で、電線導体3、絶縁被覆4、端子金具5のいずれとの間にも隙間ができにくく、防水性や防食機能が維持される。
 硬化物7を形成する本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物は、所定の範囲に配置される。硬化物7を形成する本開示にかかる架橋性高分子組成物の配置は、滴下法、塗布法等の公知の手段を用いることができる。
 硬化物7は、所定の厚みで所定の範囲に形成される。その厚みは、0.1mm以下が好ましい。硬化物7が厚くなりすぎると、端子金具5をコネクタへ挿入しにくくなる。
 被覆電線2の電線導体3は、複数の素線3aが撚り合わされてなる撚線よりなる。この場合、撚線は、1種の金属素線より構成されていてもよいし、2種以上の金属素線より構成されていてもよい。また、撚線は、金属素線以外に、有機繊維よりなる素線などを含んでいてもよい。なお、1種の金属素線より構成されるとは、撚線を構成する全ての金属素線が同じ金属材料よりなることをいい、2種以上の金属素線より構成されるとは、撚線中に互いに異なる金属材料よりなる金属素線を含んでいることをいう。撚線中には、被覆電線2を補強するための補強線(テンションメンバ)等が含まれていてもよい。
 電線導体3を構成する金属素線の材料としては、銅、銅合金、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、もしくはこれらの材料に各種めっきが施された材料などを例示することができる。また、補強線としての金属素線の材料としては、銅合金、チタン、タングステン、ステンレスなどを例示することができる。また、補強線としての有機繊維としては、ケブラーなどを挙げることができる。電線導体3を構成する金属素線としては、軽量化の観点から、アルミニウム、アルミニウム合金、もしくはこれらの材料に各種めっきが施された材料が好ましい。
 絶縁被覆4の材料としては、例えば、ゴム、ポリオレフィン、PVC、熱可塑性エラストマーなどを挙げることができる。これらの材料は単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上混合して用いてもよい。絶縁被覆4の材料中には、適宜、各種添加剤が添加されていてもよい。添加剤としては、難燃剤、充填剤、着色剤等を挙げることができる。
 端子金具5の材料(母材の材料)としては、一般的に用いられる黄銅の他、各種銅合金、銅などを挙げることができる。端子金具5の表面の一部(例えば接点)もしくは全体には、錫、ニッケル、金などの各種金属によりめっきが施されていてもよい。
 なお、図2に示す端子付き被覆電線1では、電線導体の端末に端子金具が圧着接続されているが、圧着接続に代えて溶接などの他の公知の電気接続方法であってもよい。
 以下に実施例を示す。本発明は、実施例により限定されるものではない。ここでは、含金属添加剤の成分組成と、架橋性高分子組成物の保存安定性および硬化速度との関係を調べた。また、含金属添加剤の状態について検討した。
[1]含金属添加剤の添加による効果
 まず、含金属添加剤の添加およびその成分組成が、組成物に対して与える効果を調べた。
<含金属添加剤の調製>
 表1に記載した配合組成で、β-ジケトナト金属錯体とアルキルアルコールを配合し、80℃で10分間均一に混合した後、常温まで放冷することで、添加剤1~10を調製した。さらに、アルキルアルコールの代わりに、アルコール以外の成分を使用して、同様に、添加剤11~14を調製した。
 含金属添加剤の調製に用いた材料は以下の通りである。
(1)β-ジケトナト金属錯体
・Zn-AA:亜鉛(II)アセチルアセトナート(分解開始点:105℃)
・Ca-AA:カルシウム(II)アセチルアセトナート(相転移開始点:110℃)
・Al-AA:アルミニウム(III)アセチルアセトナート(相転移開始点:112℃)
 ここで、各金属錯体の分解開始点または相転移開始点は、:DSC(測定温度範囲:25~200℃、大気中測定)におけるベースライン変化開始温度として評価したものである。
(2)アルキルアルコール
・1-ペンタノール
・1-オクタノール
・1-ドデカノール
・1-ヘキサデカノール
・2-プロパノール
・3-オクタノール
  (いずれも富士フィルム和光純薬社製)
(3)アルコール以外の成分
・グリコール酸
・ラウリン酸
・ドデシルアミン
・1,2-エポキシドデカン
  (いずれも東京化成工業社製)
<架橋性高分子組成物の調製>
 上記で調製した含金属添加剤をA成分として、B成分の有機高分子とともに、表2,3に記載の配合組成(単位:質量部)で、常温にてメノウ乳鉢で5分間混合した。これにより、試料A1~A11およびB1~B4,B7~B11にかかる組成物を調製した。なお、試料B2~B4では、A成分として、上記で含金属添加剤の調製原料として用いたβ-ジケトナト金属錯体そのものを使用している。各試料において、A成分の配合量は、それぞれに含まれるβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の含量(モル量)が、同程度になるように、設定している。さらに、試料B5をB成分のみより構成し、試料B6をエポキシ樹脂のみより構成した。
 用いた有機高分子材料は以下の通りである。
(1)B成分
・MA5:無水マレイン酸変性液状ポリブタジエン(CRAY VALLEY製)、数平均分子量4700、置換基当量2350g/mol
・UC3510:カルボキシル基導入液状ポリアクリレート(東亞合成製)、数平均分子量2000、置換基当量801g/mol
・X-22-3701E:カルボキシル変性シリコーンオイル(信越化学工業製)、置換基当量4000g/mol
(2)他の有機高分子
・エポキシ樹脂:三菱ケミカル製エポキシ樹脂「jER828」(エポキシ当量:184以上194以下)に、硬化剤として、三菱ケミカル製「ST12」(アミン当量:345KOHmg/g以上、385KOHmg/g以下)を添加した。配合比は、エポキシ樹脂/硬化剤=67/33(単位:質量部)とした。
<評価方法>
(1)保存安定性
 長期保存安定性を評価するための加速条件として、40℃の恒温槽中、72時間の条件(JIS 60068-2-2準拠)で、調製した組成物を放置し、組成物の硬化が進行しているか否かにより、保存安定性を評価した。上記加速条件を経た後に、初期状態と比較して組成物の粘度が同等である場合を、長期保存安定性に優れる(E)と評価した。一方、上記加速条件を経ることで、組成物の粘度が上昇した場合を、長期保存安定性に優れない(N)と評価した。この際、組成物の粘度は、コーンプレート型回転粘度計(レオシス社製 Merlin VR)によって評価した。
(2)硬化時間
 50mm×50mm×0.5mm厚の銅板を予め120℃に加熱しておき、その上に調製した各組成物を0.1g垂らした。各組成物を加熱した銅板上に垂らした時点を0秒とし、垂らした組成物が硬化するまでの時間を硬化時間とした。組成物が硬化するまでの時間は、垂らした組成物の表面にスパーテルを当てて引き上げたときに組成物が糸を引かなくなった時点とした。60秒以内に硬化が確認されたものは、硬化速度に優れる(硬化が速い)と評価することができる。
<評価結果>
 下の表1に、調製した各含金属添加剤(A成分)の配合組成を、質量(g)を単位として表示している。また、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対するアルキルアルコールまたは他の成分の配合比を、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の含有量を基準としたモル配合比にて表示している。配合比は、添加剤7,8を除いて、各添加剤で、4.4または4.5に揃っている。

 さらに、表2,3に、上記で調製した試料A1~A11,B1~B11にかかる組成物について、各成分の含有量(単位:質量部)を上段に示すとともに、各評価の結果を下段に示す。

 試料A1~A11の組成物は、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体と、炭素数4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールから調製された含金属化合物を、金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基を有する有機高分子よりなるB成分とともに含有している。この組成と対応して、試料A1~A11のいずれにおいても、組成物が、「E」と評価される高い長期保存安定性を有するとともに、60秒以内の短い硬化時間で硬化が進行している。A成分が、40℃での加速試験では変性を起こさない高い安定性を有するとともに、120℃に加熱されると、金属イオンを遊離させ、B成分を金属架橋させるものと解釈される。試料A2,A7,A8は、含金属添加剤におけるモル配合比が相互に異なっているが、組成物として、相互に同程度の量のβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を含有するように、それら含金属添加剤の添加量を設定していることにより、いずれにおいても、高い保存安定性が得られるとともに、十分に短い硬化時間が達成されている。また、試料A1~A6、A9~A11では、A成分の含金属添加剤の組成やB成分の有機高分子の種類が異なっているが、それら組成の詳細によらず、いずれにおいても、十分に高い保存安定性と、速い硬化速度が得られている。
 試料B5は、B成分のみを含有し、A成分の含金属添加剤を含有していないため、保存安定性には優れるが、金属架橋を起こすことができず、600秒を超えても硬化していない。試料B6は、市販の常温硬化性の2液型エポキシ樹脂のみを用いているが、保存安定性評価において、40℃に保持している間に硬化が進行してしまい、保存安定性に著しく劣る。一方で、120℃でも硬化速度が遅く、硬化に420秒もの長い時間を要している。
 試料B2~B4は、A成分として、アルキルアルコールの添加によって安定化されていないβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を用いており、組成物の保存安定性が「N」と評価される低いものとなっている。なお、本実施例では、長期の保存を想定して、40℃における加速試験によって保存安定性を評価しているが、試料B2~B4についても、常温で同様の保存安定性評価を行った場合には、B成分にβ-ジケトナト金属錯体そのものを混合した組成物においても、十分に高い保存安定性が得られる。また、今回の硬化速度試験において、試料B2~B4について観測された硬化時間と、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加している試料A1~A11の硬化時間は、ほぼ同程度であり、アルキルアルコールを添加しても、加熱時の金属イオンの遊離は、β-ジケトナト金属錯体単独の場合と、同程度の速度で進行することが分かる。
 試料B1は、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加したものを用いている。しかし、用いたアルキルアルコールが2-プロパノールであり、炭素数が3と少なくなっている。アルキルアルコールのアルキル鎖が短すぎることと対応して、アルキルアルコールの添加によるβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の構造安定化の効果が小さく、組成物の保存安定性が低くなっている。
 試料B7も、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加したものを用いている。しかし、アルキルアルコールが、一級アルコールではなく、二級アルコールとなっている。おそらくアルキルアルコールの立体障害が大きいことと対応して、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対する構造安定化の効果が小さくなり、組成物の保存安定性が低くなっている。
 試料B8,B9では、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に、アルキルアルコールではなく、カルボン酸を添加したものを用いている。これらの試料においては、組成物が高い保存安定性を示すが、硬化に長い時間がかかっている。カルボン酸の電子求引性が高すぎることにより、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の中心金属に強力に再配位しすぎ、錯構造の安定化には非常に高い効果を示す一方、加熱しても金属イオンを遊離させないものと考えられる。試料B8で用いているグリコール酸は、カルボキシル基に加え、水酸基も有するものであるが、電子求引性の高いカルボキシル基の方で再配位するため、アルキルアルコールを用いる場合のように、適度な構造安定化と加熱による金属イオンの遊離能力を両立することはできないものと考えられる。
 試料B10では、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に、アルキルアルコールではなく、アルキルアミンを添加したものを用いている。試料B10の組成物は、非常に短い時間で硬化しているが、保存安定性が低くなっている。アルキルアミンも、β-ジケトナト金属錯体の中心金属に再配位可能であるが、その再配位によって、錯構造がむしろ不安定化されているものと考えられる。錯構造の不安定化により、反応活性が高くなり、金属イオンを遊離させやすくなったことで、短時間で硬化が進行したものと解釈される。
 試料B11では、A成分として、β-ジケトナト金属錯体に、アルキルアルコールではなく、エポキシ化合物を添加したものを用いている。試料B11の組成物は、保存安定性が低くなっているとともに、硬化に長い時間を要している。エポキシ基は、金属に配位することができず、再配位によるβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の安定化を起こさないことに対応して、組成物の保存安定性を高める成分とはならないものと解釈される。硬化に長時間を要しているのは、加熱によって、B成分の官能基とエポキシ基とが副反応を起こして、金属架橋が起こりにくくなっているものと推測される。エポキシ化合物は、保存安定性の向上に寄与しないのみならず、それ自体がB成分に対して反応活性を有するという点でも、添加成分として適していないと言える。
[2]含金属添加剤の構造
 次に、β-ジケトナト金属錯体にアルキルアルコールを添加した含金属添加剤が、どのような構造を有するかを検討した。
<含金属添加剤の調製>
 β-ジケトナト金属錯体としてZn-AA,Ca-AA,Al-AAの3種を用い、アルキルアルコールとして1-ドデカノールを用いて、上記[1]の試験と同様にして、含金属添加剤を調製した。ただし、ここでは、余剰のアルコールが生じないように、1-ドデカノールの添加量が、モル配合比でβ-ジケトナト金属錯体の2倍未満となるように、以下の配合比とした。
・Zn-AAを1.0g(3.8mmol)に対して、1-ドデカノールを1.0g(5.4mmol)添加。
・Ca-AAを1.0g(4.2mmol)に対して、1-ドデカノールを1.0g(5.4mmol)添加。
・Al-AAを1.0g(3.1mmol)に対して、1-ドデカノールを1.0g(5.4mmol)添加。
<評価方法>
 原料のβ-ジケトナト金属錯体および1-ドデカノール、さらに上記で調製した含金属添加剤に対して、全反射測定法(ATR法)により、赤外吸収測定(FT-IR測定)を行った。
<評価結果>
 図4A~4Cに、測定されたFT-IRスペクトルを示す。β-ジケトナト金属錯体として、図4AではZn-AA、図4BではCa-AA、図4CではAl-AAを用いている。いずれの図においても、最上段の細線が1-ドデカノールを示し、中段の破線がβ-ジケトナト金属錯体を示している。そして、最下段の太線が、調製した含金属添加剤を示している。
 図4A~4Cのいずれの測定結果においても、破線の楕円で囲んで示したように、1-ドデカノールをβ-ジケトナト金属錯体と混合したのに伴って、3500~3300cm-1の領域に1-ドデカノールが与えるO-H伸縮振動の吸収ピークが、小さくなっている。この現象は、アルコールの水酸基のO-H結合が消失したことを意味しており、アルコキシ配位子の形で金属に配位結合したことが示唆される。つまり、アルキルアルコールのR-O-H構造(Rはアルキル基)のO-H結合が消失し、R-O-M(Mは金属)の形の結合が生じたものと考えられる。
 さらに、各β-ジケトナト金属錯体が1380cm-1付近に有するC=O伸縮振動の吸収ピークが、各図に矢印で表示するように、1-ドデカノールとの混合に伴って、高波数側にシフトしている。C=O伸縮振動のピークシフトは、1-ドデカノールによって、β-ジケトナト配位子と中心金属の間の配位結合の状態が変化していることを示している。つまり、中心金属の配位環境が変化している。このことと、上記O-H結合の消失を合わせて考えると、1-ドデカノールが、アルコキシ配位子としてβ-ジケトナト金属錯体に再配位していることが示唆される。
 以上、本開示の実施の形態について詳細に説明したが、本開示は上記実施の形態に何ら限定されるものではなく、本開示の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の改変が可能である。

Claims (13)

  1.  β-ジケトナト金属錯体と、
     炭素数が4以上30以下の一級アルキルアルコールとを含む、含金属添加剤。
  2.  前記アルキルアルコールは、直鎖アルキルアルコールである、請求項1に記載の含金属添加剤。
  3.  モル比で、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体に対して、前記アルキルアルコールが2倍以上含有されている、請求項1または請求項2に記載の含金属添加剤。
  4.  前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体を構成する金属は、アルカリ土類金属、亜鉛、チタン、アルミニウムのうちの少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の含金属添加剤。
  5.  前記アルキルアルコールの少なくとも一部は、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体の金属に配位している、請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の含金属添加剤。
  6.  前記含金属添加剤は、前記β-ジケトナト金属錯体よりも高い保存安定性を有し、
     50℃以上200℃以下の温度で金属イオンを遊離させる、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の含金属添加剤。
  7.  請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の含金属添加剤と、
     有機高分子と、を含み、
     前記有機高分子は、熱により前記含金属添加剤から遊離する金属イオンとイオン結合を形成可能な置換基を有している、架橋性高分子組成物。
  8.  前記有機高分子の前記置換基は、カルボン酸基、酸無水物基、リン酸基、スルホン酸基のうちの少なくとも1種である、請求項7に記載の架橋性高分子組成物。
  9.  前記有機高分子は、150℃以下において液状である、請求項7または請求項8に記載の架橋性高分子組成物。
  10.  前記有機高分子100質量部に対し、前記含金属添加剤が0.2質量部以上30質量部以下含まれる、請求項7から請求項9のいずれか1項に記載の架橋性高分子組成物。
  11.  請求項7から請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の架橋性高分子組成物の架橋体であり、
     前記有機高分子が前記含金属添加剤から遊離した前記金属イオンを介して架橋されている、架橋高分子材料。
  12.  金属基材と、前記金属基材の表面を被覆する被覆材と、を有し、前記被覆材が、請求項11に記載の架橋高分子材料で構成される、金属部材。
  13.  請求項12に記載の架橋高分子材料を含む、ワイヤーハーネス。
