Definitions
- the present invention relates to an additive for a culture medium used for artificial cultivation of mushrooms, which can increase the yield regardless of the mushroom variety and obtain a stable yield.
- fungal bed cultivation usually prepares a culture medium by adding nutrient sources such as rice bran, okara, and bran to a base material made of sawdust, corn cob meal, bagasse, beet meal, and the like.
- the pH of the culture medium may be lower than the pH suitable for the growth of mushrooms (optimal pH for cultivation), or the culture medium filled in a bottle or bag may be subjected to high-pressure steam sterilization treatment.
- a part of the sugar contained in the culture medium is altered by rotting or the like, and the pH of the culture medium is lowered, so that the yield of mushrooms is lowered.
- natural lime and synthetic inorganic substances such as oyster shell lime, which are widely used as activators, do not always have to be used depending on the composition of mushrooms (bunashimeji, eringi, hiratake, mushrooms, etc.) and culture groups that require a relatively high optimum pH. It is not satisfactory.
- inorganic substances such as synthetic aluminum hydroxide and synthetic aluminum silicate have a low pH of around 4.0 for neutralizing acid because the metal cation that exerts antacid power is aluminum.
- some types of mushrooms have a pH lower than the optimum pH for cultivation.
- Each mushroom variety has an optimum pH for cultivation, and the optimum combination of materials is selected for that purpose.
- the optimum combination of materials is selected for that purpose.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an additive for a mushroom culture medium that can adjust the optimum pH for cultivation for each mushroom variety and maintain the optimum pH for cultivation.
- corn cob meal contains unique components such as sugar that are not contained in sawdust, and in reality, the pH is less than 5.5 and acidic. It is known that it tends to be biased.
- the antacid compound mixed with the basal culture medium suppresses the oxidation of the mushroom culture medium due to its antacid action (neutralization action).
- the present invention provides an additive for a mushroom culture medium, which has an antacid action (neutralizing action) that raises the initial pH of the culture medium by 0.5 or more by being included in the mushroom culture medium, and contributes to an increase in the yield of mushrooms. That is the issue.
- the present inventors have tested various antacids and found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by using an aluminum compound, a calcium compound, and a magnesium compound as raw materials and adding them in a specific ratio. It was completed.
- the present invention relates to the following additives (1) to (6) for mushroom culture media.
- the additive for a mushroom culture medium according to (1) above which is an additive capable of maintaining pH 4.0 or higher for 60 minutes or longer as an antacid property according to the modified Fuchs method.
- the raw material of Al 2 O 3 is aluminum hydroxide
- the raw material of CaO is calcium hydroxide, calcium carbonate, calcium oxide, calcium monohydrogen phosphate, calcium monohydrogen phosphate dihydrate, phosphorus.
- MgO is at least one selected from the group consisting of Japanese products, and the raw materials of MgO are magnesium hydroxide, magnesium carbonate, magnesium oxide, magnesium monohydrogen phosphate trihydrate, magnesium dihydrogen phosphate tetrahydrate, and phosphorus.
- Additives for mushroom culture bases according to. (5) The mushroom culture medium according to any one of (1) to (4) above, which has a neutralizing effect of raising the initial pH of the culture medium by 0.5 or more when the additive is contained in the mushroom culture medium.
- Additive. (6) The mushroom according to any one of (1) to (4) above, which has a neutralizing effect of increasing the pH of the culture medium by 0.2 or more during the culture period when the additive is contained in the mushroom culture medium. Additive for culture medium.
- the present invention also relates to the following mushroom culture media (7) and (8).
- Mushrooms in which the mushroom culture medium additive according to any one of (1) to (4) above is contained in the range of 0.01 to 3.0% by weight with respect to the weight of the mushroom culture medium after adjusting the water content.
- Culture medium. A mushroom culture medium having a function of increasing the yield of mushrooms by 8% or more by including the additive for a mushroom culture medium according to any one of (1) to (4) above in the mushroom culture medium.
- the yield can be increased and a stable yield can be obtained regardless of the mushroom variety as compared with the conventional mushroom culture medium additive.
- the antacid property of the mushroom culture medium additive of Example 1 is shown.
- the antacid property of the mushroom culture medium additive of Example 2 is shown.
- the antacid property of the mushroom culture medium additive of Example 3 is shown.
- the antacid property of the mushroom culture medium additive of Comparative Example 1 is shown.
- the time course of pH of the mushroom culture medium of Example 6 is shown.
- the antacid property of the mushroom culture medium additive of Test Example 1 is shown.
- the antacid properties of the mushroom culture medium additive of Test Example 2 are shown.
- the antacid properties of the mushroom culture medium additive of Test Example 3 are shown.
