Description
本開示は、1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法に関する。
空調機用の冷媒として使用されているR410A(HFC-32及びHFC-125の2成分混合冷媒)等のHFC混合冷媒の代替冷媒成分候補として、1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)が挙げられている。HFO-1132には、トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))とシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z)との二つの異性体が存在する。
HFO-1132及び水を含む組成物から前記水及びその他の不純物を低減するための精製方法として、一般にはゼオライト(モレキュラーシーブ)、塩化カルシウム、シリカゲル、活性炭、濃硫酸等に組成物を接触させて脱水する方法が知られている。例えば、特許文献1には、HFO-1132を含む流体を合成ゼオライトと接触させることにより脱水することが記載されている。
本開示は、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製する方法を提供することを目的とする。

本開示によれば、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができる。
本発明者らは、鋭意研究を行った結果、HFO-1132及び水を含む組成物から前記水を低減してHFO-1132を精製する際に、組成物を特定のゼオライトに接触させることによって、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製できることを見出した。
本開示は、かかる知見に基づき、更に研究を重ねた結果完成されたものである。
本開示は、以下の実施形態を含む。
本開示では、特に断らない限り、1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)はトランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))を意味する。つまり、HFO-1132(E)単独、HFO-1132(Z)単独、又はHFO-1132(E)とHFO-1132(Z)との混合物(混合割合は特に断らない限り任意である)を意味する。また、「A~B」で示される範囲は、特に断らない限り「A以上B以下」を意味する。
以下、本開示を、実施形態1、実施形態2及び実施形態3に分けて詳細に説明する。
実施形態1のHFO-1132の精製方法
実施形態1の開示は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができるという知見に基づく。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が0.1体積%未満(異性化が生じない場合を含む)であり、実施形態1の発明は精製前の組成物がHFO-1132(E)リッチである場合(実施形態1-1)、及び精製前の組成物がHFO-1132(Z)リッチである場合(実施形態1-2)に分けるとそれぞれ下記の通りに特定することができる。

上記HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物は、HFO-1132の製造時に混入し得る水が含まれる組成物が挙げられる。具体的には、組成物としては、1,1,2-トリフルオロエタンの脱フッ化水素反応の生成物や、金属触媒存在下でのHFO-1132(E)及び/又はHFO-1132(Z)の異性化反応の生成物等が挙げられる。
組成物には水以外の不純物も含まれる場合があるが、不純物としては例えば、HFO-1132の製造時に混入し得る中間体、異性体、副生成物等(例えば、フッ化水素、フルオロエチレン、ジフルオロエチレン、トリフルオロエチレン、1,1,1-トリフルオロエタン、プロピレン、アセチレン、ジフルオロメタン、トリフルオロメタン、フルオロメタン等の少なくとも一種を挙げることができる。
実施形態1-1の場合には、特にHFO-1132(E)及び水を含有する組成物を精製対象とし、特定のゼオライトを用いることにより精製過程におけるHFO-1132(E)の異性化の程度(異性化率)が0.1体積%未満(異性化が生じない場合を含む)であることを特徴とする。
よって、精製工程(工程1)の後、回収工程(工程2)においてHFO-1132(E)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(Z)が0.1体積%未満(0体積%である場合、すなわちガスクロマトグラムによる検出限界未満である場合を含む)である精製物を回収することができる。
また、精製工程(工程1)で平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを用いることにより、ゼオライトへのHFO-1132(E)の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製できる。なお、精製前の組成物中にはHFO-1132(Z)は実質的に含まれていないことが好ましく、例えば、ガスクロマトグラムにより含有量が検出できない程度であることが好ましい。
実施形態1-2の場合には、特にHFO-1132(Z)及び水を含有する組成物を精製対象とし、特定のゼオライトを用いることにより精製過程におけるHFO-1132(Z)の異性化の程度(異性化率)が0.1体積%未満(異性化が生じない場合を含む)であることを特徴とする。
よって、精製工程(工程1)の後、回収工程(工程2)においてHFO-1132(Z)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(E)が0.1体積%未満(0体積%である場合、すなわちガスクロマトグラムによる検出限界未満である場合を含む)である精製物を回収することができる。
また、精製工程(工程1)で平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを用いることにより、ゼオライトへのHFO-1132(Z)の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製できる。なお、精製前の組成物中にはHFO-1132(E)は実質的に含まれていないことが好ましく、例えば、ガスクロマトグラムにより含有量が検出できない程度であることが好ましい。
次に、本開示において水を吸着除去する吸着剤としての作用を有するゼオライトについて説明する。なお、本開示においてゼオライトは水を吸着除去するだけでなく、水以外の不純物の一種又は二種以上についても吸着除去し得るが、以下では特に水の吸着除去について説明する。
ゼオライト(Zeolite)は、粘土鉱物の一種であり、規則的なチャンネル(管状細孔)とキャビティ(空洞)とを有する剛直な陰イオン性の骨格からなるアルカリ又はアルカリ土類金属を含む含水アルミノケイ酸塩である。
ゼオライトは、一般に、
(MI,MII 1/2)m(AlmSinO2(m+n))・xH2O, (n≧m)
(MI:Li+、Na+、K+等、MII:Ca2+、Mg2+、Ba2+等)
の組成で表され、陽イオンが、アルミノケイ酸塩の骨格の負電荷を補償する。

また、ゼオライト中の陽イオンの種類に特に制限はなく、通常、H+、Li+、Na+、K+、Ca2+、Mg2+、Ba2+等が用いられる。
構造の基本的な単位は、SiO4又はAlO4の四面体構造(合わせてTO4四面体)であり、これらが3次元方向に無限に連なり、結晶を形成する。ゼオライトの結晶は多孔質で細孔の直径が通常0.2~1.0nm程度である。ゼオライトは、その細孔径よりも大きな分子は細孔内に進入することはできないという分子ふるい作用(molecular sieve)を有する。ゼオライトは、その骨格構造に由来する細孔による分子ふるい効果に加えて、固体酸性、イオン交換能、触媒能、吸着能等の特性を有している。
実施形態1は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができる。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が0.1体積%未満(異性化が生じない場合を含む)と低く抑えられている。
ゼオライトの平均細孔径が2~4Åであることにより、HFO-1132の異性化率とHFO-1132自体がゼオライトに吸着される可能性とを低く抑えながら、水の吸着除去効率を高めることができるため、精製工程において異性化などに起因するロスを低く抑えて効率的にHFO-1132を精製することができる。
平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトは商業的に入手可能であり、例えば、モレキュラーシーブス3A(平均細孔経が2~3Å)、モレキュラーシーブス4A(平均細孔経が3~4Å)(いずれもユニオン昭和社製)が挙げられる。これらのゼオライトは、平均細孔径の要件を満たす限り単独又は2種以上で使用できる。
本開示において、HFO-1132及び水を含有する精製対象の組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることは、前記組成物を前記ゼオライトを充填した装置(カラムなど)に通過させること、又は、前記組成物を前記ゼオライトを充填した容器に充填することを意味する。
本開示では、前記ゼオライトを吸着剤(不純物吸着除去材)として用い、これに精製対象の組成物を接触させる(通過させる)ことにより、組成物中に含まれる水をゼオライトにより吸着除去する。
本開示では、水を効果的に吸着除去するには、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを、質量比で100:1~1:10程度の割合で接触させることが好ましく、50:1~1:5程度の割合で接触させることがより好ましく、10:1~1:3程度の割合で接触させることが更に好ましい。本開示では、ゼオライトの使用量は、例えば、ゼオライトの10g充填物(ステンレス製カラムなど)に、精製対象の組成物10g~100g程度の範囲とすることができる。
本開示では、ゼオライトを、その使用前に活性化処理してもよい。活性化処理の条件は限定的ではないが、例えば、真空中(10-1mmHg~10-3mmHg)、200℃~350℃の温度で一晩加熱する等の乾燥処理が挙げられる。なお、本開示では活性化処理を施していないゼオライトも好適に使用できる。
本開示では、ゼオライトの使用形態に特に制限はない。ゼオライトを充填した装置(カラムなど)に精製対象の組成物を流通させてもよく、またゼオライトを充填した容器に精製対象の組成物を充填し、所定時間経過後に精製物を回収してもよい。
本開示では、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを接触させる温度は特に限定されず、精製対象の組成物に含まれるHFO-1132の沸点などを勘案して設定する。一般には低温で接触させることが接触時の副反応(異性化反応など)が抑制される点で好ましい。好ましくは0~100℃程度の範囲である。この中で、例えば、0~50℃の範囲、50~100℃の範囲等を選択することができる。
本開示では、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを接触させる時間は特に制限はなく、精製後の回収物に含まれる水を含む不純物の量が目的とする程度以下まで低減できる限りにおいて任意に設定することができる。詳細には、流通速度、充填時間、上記温度等に応じて設定できる。
本開示では、使用するゼオライトは、粉末状、顆粒状又はペレット状で用いてもよく、成形体として用いてもよい。工業的には成形体として用いることが好ましい。成形体の形状に特に制限はないが、例えば直径0.5~5mm程度、長さ1~15mm程度の円柱状、又は直径0.5~10mm程度の球状の形状で用いることが好ましい。
本開示では、ゼオライトの成形体の製造方法に特に制限はなく、例えばバインダーとしてカオリン系粘土を用いる従来公知の方法を採用することができる。
実施形態1-1では、上記精製工程(工程1)の後、回収工程(工程2)においてHFO-1132(E)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(Z)が0.1体積%未満(0体積%である場合、すなわちガスクロマトグラムによる検出限界未満である場合を含む)である精製物を回収することができる。つまり、異性化率が0.1体積%未満(好ましくは0.01体積%未満)と低く抑えられていることにより、好適には精製物中のHFO-1132(E)の純度を99.9体積%以上に高めることも可能である。また、特定のゼオライトを用いることでHFO-1132(E)の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132(E)のロスを抑制することができる。
実施形態1-2では、上記精製工程(工程1)の後、回収工程(工程2)においてHFO-1132(Z)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(E)が0.1体積%未満(0体積%である場合、すなわちガスクロマトグラムによる検出限界未満である場合を含む)である精製物を回収することができる。つまり、異性化率が0.1体積%未満(好ましくは0.01体積%未満)と低く抑えられていることにより、好適には精製物中のHFO-1132(Z)の純度を99.9体積%以上に高めることも可能である。また、特定のゼオライトを用いることでHFO-1132(Z)の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132(Z)のロスを抑制することができる。
実施形態2のHFO-1132の精製方法
実施形態2の開示は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができるという知見に基づく。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が低く抑えられており(異性化が生じない場合を含む)、実施形態2の発明は精製前の組成物がHFO-1132(E)リッチである場合(実施形態2-1)、精製前の組成物がHFO-1132(Z)リッチである場合(実施形態2-2)、精製前の組成物のHFO-1132(E)及びHFO-1132(Z)の混合比が任意である場合(実施形態2-3)に分けるとそれぞれ下記の通りに特定することができる。

実施形態2-1の場合には、特にHFO-1132(E)及び水を含有する組成物を精製対象とし、吸着剤として平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを用いることにより、精製過程(脱水過程)におけるHFO-1132(E)の異性化の程度(異性化率)が低く抑えられている(異性化が生じない場合を含む)ことを特徴とする。

実施形態2-2の場合には、特にHFO-1132(Z)及び水を含有する組成物を精製対象とし、吸着剤として平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを用いることにより、精製過程(脱水過程)におけるHFO-1132(Z)の異性化の程度(異性化率)が低く抑えられている(異性化が生じない場合を含む)ことを特徴とする。

また、精製工程で平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを用いることにより、ゼオライトへのHFO-1132の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製できる。
本開示におけるゼオライトの説明については、実施形態1と同じである。
本開示では、前記ゼオライトを吸着剤(不純物吸着除去材)として備えたカラムを用いて、精製対象の組成物をカラムを通過させる(接触させる)ことにより、組成物中に含まれる水をゼオライトにより吸着除去する。
本開示では、水を効果的に吸着除去するには、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを、質量比で100:1~1:10程度の割合で接触させることが好ましく、50:1~1:5程度の割合で接触させることがより好ましく、10:1~1:3程度の割合で接触させることが更に好ましい。本開示では、ゼオライトの使用量は、例えば、ゼオライトの10g充填物(ステンレス製カラム等)に、精製対象の組成物10g~100g程度の範囲とすることができる。
また、水を効果的に吸着除去するには、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを接触時間が0.01~60分程度で流通させることが好ましく、0.1~30分程度で流通させることがより好ましく、0.3~10分程度で流通させることが更に好ましい。
本開示では、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを接触させる温度は特に限定されず、精製対象の組成物に含まれるHFO-1132の沸点などを勘案して設定する。一般には低温で接触させることが接触時の副反応(異性化反応など)が抑制される点で好ましい。好ましくは0~100℃程度の範囲である。この中で、例えば、0~50℃の範囲、50~100℃の範囲等を選択することができる。
本開示では、精製対象の組成物とゼオライトとを接触させる時間は特に制限はなく、精製後の回収物に含まれる水の量が目的とする程度以下まで低減できる限りにおいて任意に設定することができる。詳細には、ゼオライトの使用量、接触時間、温度等に応じて設定できる。実施形態2-1~2-3において、異性化率は絶対値で0.01未満であればよいが、好ましくは0.001未満である。
本開示では、使用するゼオライトは、粉末状、顆粒状又はペレット状で用いてもよく、成形体として用いてもよい。工業的には成形体として用いることが好ましい。成形体の形状に特に制限はないが、例えば直径0.5~5mm程度、長さ1~15mm程度の円柱状、又は直径0.5~10mm程度の球状の形状で用いることが好ましい。
本開示では、ゼオライトの成形体の製造方法に特に制限はなく、例えばバインダーとしてカオリン系粘土を用いる従来公知の方法を採用することができる。
実施形態3のHFO-1132の精製方法
実施形態3の開示は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができるという知見に基づく。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が低く抑えられており(異性化が生じない場合を含む)、好適には異性化率は0.1体積%未満である。
実施形態3の開示は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができるという知見に基づく。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が低く抑えられており(異性化が生じない場合を含む)、好適には異性化率は0.1体積%未満である。
実施形態3のHFO-1132の精製方法は、下記の通りに特定することができる。
1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法であって、
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))と水とを含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程を有する、
ことを特徴とするHFO-1132の精製方法。
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))と水とを含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程を有する、
ことを特徴とするHFO-1132の精製方法。
上記HFO-1132及び水を含有する精製対象の組成物の一般的な説明については、実施形態1と同じである。なお、組成物中のHFO-1132(E)及びHFO-1132(Z)の含有量については、例えば合計量で10~99.99体積%の範囲から幅広く設定することができる。
実施形態3では、特にHFO-1132(E)及び/又はHFO-1132(Z)と水とを含有する組成物を精製対象とし、特定のゼオライトを用いることにより精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が好適には0.1体積%未満と低く抑えられている(異性化が生じない場合を含む)ことを特徴とする。
よって、精製工程の後、回収工程においてHFO-1132の異性化が抑制された(E/Z体積%比率の変動が抑制された)、低減した量の水を含有している精製物を回収することができる。また、精製工程でSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトを用いることにより、ゼオライトへのHFO-1132の吸着が抑制されているため、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製できる。
実施形態3におけるゼオライトの説明については、SiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトを用いる以外は、実施形態1と同じである。なお、実施形態3においては、ゼオライトのSiO2/Al2O3比の上限については限定的ではないが、2000程度である。つまり、SiO2/Al2O3比は5.0以上2000以下が好ましく、5以上100以下がより好ましい。
実施形態3は、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができる。特に精製過程におけるHFO-1132の異性化の程度(異性化率)が好ましくは0.1体積%未満(より好ましくは0.01体積%未満)(なお、0体積%である場合、すなわちガスクロマトグラムによる検出限界未満である場合を含む)と低く抑えられている。
SiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上であることにより、HFO-1132の異性化率とHFO-1132自体がゼオライトに吸着される可能性とを低く抑えながら、水の吸着除去効率を高めることができるため、精製工程において異性化などに起因するロスを低く抑えて効率的にHFO-1132を精製することができる。
SiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトは商業的に入手可能であり、例えば、ZSM-5(東ソー社製)、フェリエライト(東ソー社製)が挙げられる。これらのゼオライトは、SiO2/Al2O3比の要件を満たす限り単独又は2種以上で使用できる。
実施形態3において、HFO-1132及び水を含有する精製対象の組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させる方法、条件等については、実施形態1と同じである。
水の含有量が低減された精製物
本開示のHFO-1132の精製方法は、前述の通り、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物を特定のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができる。かかる精製方法を経て得られる、水の量が低減された精製物は下記の通りに特定することができる。
本開示のHFO-1132の精製方法は、前述の通り、HFO-1132及び水を含有する組成物を特定のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させた場合に、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができる。かかる精製方法を経て得られる、水の量が低減された精製物は下記の通りに特定することができる。
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))及び水を含有する精製物であって、前記水の含有量が100ppm(w/w)以下の範囲である、精製物。
以上、本開示の実施形態を説明したが、特許請求の範囲の趣旨及び範囲から逸脱することなく、形態や詳細の多様な変更が可能である。
以下に実施例及び比較例を記載し本開示を具体的に説明する。但し、本開示はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
実施例及び比較例において、HFO-1132の純度及び不純物濃度は下記の測定装置及び測定条件により測定した。また、水分量は下記の水分計により測定した。
測定装置:ガスクロマトグラフィー(FID検出器を使用)
測定条件:カラム/GS-GasPro
純度の計算:GCピーク面積比より算出
水分量の測定:カールフィッシャー水分計により測定。
測定条件:カラム/GS-GasPro
純度の計算:GCピーク面積比より算出
水分量の測定:カールフィッシャー水分計により測定。
実施例1
モレキュラシーブス3A(平均細孔経2~3Å、SiO2/Al2O3比=2.0)を5g秤量し、シリンダーに加えて、250℃×2時間で真空乾燥した。
モレキュラシーブス3A(平均細孔経2~3Å、SiO2/Al2O3比=2.0)を5g秤量し、シリンダーに加えて、250℃×2時間で真空乾燥した。
乾燥後、放冷して室温まで戻した後に、トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))を含むガス(水分量200ppm)を10gシリンダーに加え、50℃×3時間加熱した。
加熱後、放冷した後、シリンダー内のガスを真空脱気回収しガスクロマトグラフィーにて組成分析を行った。
実施例2
加熱温度(50℃)を100℃に変更した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行った。

モレキュラシーブス4A(平均細孔経3~4Å、SiO2/Al2O3比=2.0)を使用した以外は、実施例1と同様の操作で行った。

表1の結果から明らかな通り、平均細孔経が2~4Åのゼオライト、又はSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトを用いる実施例1~6のHFO-1132の精製方法によれば、HFO-1132の異性化及びロスを抑制し、HFO-1132を高純度に精製することができることが分かる。
Claims (15)
- 1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法であって、
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程1、及び
HFO-1132(E)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(Z)が0.1体積%未満である精製物を回収する工程2、
を順に有する、HFO-1132の精製方法。 - 1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法であって、
シス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程1、及び
HFO-1132(Z)及び低減した量の水を含有する、HFO-1132(E)が0.1体積%未満である精製物を回収する工程2、
を順に有する、HFO-1132の精製方法。 - 1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法であって、
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び水を含有する組成物を平均細孔径が2~4Åのゼオライトを備えたカラムを通過させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程1を有し、

- 1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132)の精製方法であって、
トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))と水とを含有する組成物をSiO2/Al2O3比が5.0以上のゼオライトと接触させることにより、前記組成物から前記水の量を低減させる工程を有する、
ことを特徴とするHFO-1132の精製方法。 - 前記工程における前記HFO-1132の異性化率が0.1体積%未満である、請求項8に記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- 0~100℃の温度範囲で前記工程を行う、請求項8又は9に記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- 前記ゼオライトは、ZSM-5である、請求項8~10のいずれかに記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- 前記組成物は、更にフルオロエチレン、ジフルオロエチレン、トリフルオロエチレン、1,1,1-トリフルオロエタン及びプロピレンからなる群から選択される少なくとも一種を含有する、請求項1~11のいずれかに記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- 前記組成物は、1,1,2-トリフルオロエタンの脱フッ化水素反応の生成物である、請求項1~12のいずれかに記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- 前記組成物は、金属触媒存在下、HFO-1132(E)及び/又はHFO-1132(Z)の異性化反応の生成物である、請求項1~12のいずれかに記載のHFO-1132の精製方法。
- トランス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(E))及び/又はシス-1,2-ジフルオロエチレン(HFO-1132(Z))と水とを含有する精製物であって、前記水の含有量が100ppm(w/w)以下の範囲である、精製物。
