- the bag was opened, 35 g of the excrement treating agent prepared in each Example and each Comparative Example was added, and after leaving for 30 days, an odor sensory test was performed.
- the ammonia concentration was measured using a detector tube (a gas detector tube for ammonia (Kitakawa type) (manufactured by Komyo Chemical Co., Ltd.), measuring limit up to 200 ppm) (shown in Table 1).
- Comparative Example 3 had a high ammonia concentration because the content ratio of slaked lime was more than 10% by mass in the excrement treating agent. Therefore, although the fecal odor was suppressed by the action of limonite, lignin, bentonite, slaked lime, etc., the stimulating odor derived from ammonia was strong and the odor remained.
- Comparative Example 4 was an experiment using only limonite, but as a result, it felt a foul odor that the garbage had fermented.
- Comparative Example 5 is an experiment in which a water-absorbing polymer was added to the composition of Comparative Example 4 in half, but the odor is lower than that of Comparative Example 4 due to the absorption of moisture, but the garbage still fermented. I felt a foul odor.
- Comparative Example 6 and 7 added the slaked lime based on the composition of Comparative Example 5, the generation of ammonia was promoted, and both of them emitted a slightly strong odor combined with the stimulating odor of ammonia and the organic odor. It was.
- Comparative Example 8 is close to the composition of the example, but does not contain bentonite.
- the odor remained as a combination of the pungent odor of ammonia and the organic odor.
- limonite, lignin, and bentonite cooperate to produce the desired effect of the present invention.
- the combination of limonite, lignin, and zeolite cannot achieve the desired effect of the present invention, suggesting that the combination of limonite, lignin, and bentonite is important.

Abstract
