Abstract
Description
本願は、2017年3月24日に日本に出願された特願2017-059454号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
特許文献1には、モータ(駆動源)の駆動力により刃部材を回動させることで、光ファイバに対する刃部材の接触部位を変更する装置が開示されている。
図1及び図2に示すように、本実施形態の光ファイバ切断装置1は、1対のクランプ11,12を有する基台10と、円板状の刃部材13を有する刃部材移動台14と、押し当て部材15と、を備える。基台10は、基部110と、蓋部17と、を備える。蓋部17は、基部110に対して回動軸16を中心として回動自在に取り付けられている。
蓋部17を基部110に対して閉じることで、1対のクランプ11,12により光ファイバ100を把持することができる。
刃台14の移動方向は、少なくとも刃部材13により光ファイバ100の表面を加傷できるように、1対のクランプ11,12に把持された光ファイバ100の長手方向に交差する方向であればよい。本実施形態において、刃台14の移動方向は、1対のクランプ11,12に把持された光ファイバ100の長手方向に直交する方向である。
本実施形態の刃台14には、図3に示すように、シャフト32が挿通されている。シャフト32は、基部110の内部に取り付けられ、刃台14を基部110に対して所定の直線方向に移動させるための軌道である。すなわち、刃台14は、シャフト32の長手方向に移動可能となっている。
刃部材13は、その移動経路の途中(移動途中)において刃部材13の外周縁部(刃先)が1対のクランプ11,12に把持された光ファイバ100の表面に接触することで、光ファイバ100の表面を加傷する。
光ファイバ100を加傷する際には、刃部材13の外周縁部のうち周方向の所定長さ(以下、刃部材13の接触長と呼ぶ。)が、光ファイバ100の表面に接触する。このため、光ファイバ100に接触する刃部材13の外周縁部の位置を変更する際には、刃部材13の接触長に対応する角度単位で、刃部材13を回動させるとよい。刃部材13の接触長は、刃部材13の外周縁部の全周を複数の領域に等分割した長さであるとよい。本実施形態における刃部材13の接触長は、刃部材13の外周縁部の全周を16等分した長さとなっている。
本実施形態において、蓋部17の回動軸16は、刃部材13の軸線A1と平行している、すなわち、刃部材13及び刃台14の移動方向に直交している。
位置決め凸部28,29同士の接触状態を解除するタイミングは、前述した係止部材26による刃台14の係止状態が解除され、刃台14がスプリング24の弾性力によって1対のクランプ11,12の間を通るように蓋部17の回動軸16に近づく方向に移動した後、すなわち、刃部材13により光ファイバ100の表面を加傷した後であればよい。
このため、ファイバホルダ30の前面30aを位置決め凹部31の第一端31aに接触させることで、ファイバホルダ30に保持された光ファイバ100を、位置決め凹部31の長手方向(1対の下クランプ11A,12Aの配列方向)において、基部110や蓋部17(1対のクランプ11,12や刃部材13、押し当て部材15)に対して位置決めできる。
図4~図7に示すように、本実施形態の固定部材41は、円板状に形成されている。軸方向から見た固定部材41の中心部分には、刃台14から突出する円柱状の刃軸43を挿通させる円形状の挿通孔44が形成されている。挿通孔44の内径寸法は、刃軸43の外径寸法に対応している。このため、固定部材41を刃台14の刃軸43に挿通させた状態では、固定部材41が刃台14に対して軸線A1を中心に回動可能となっている。
図3,図5,図6に示すように、押さえ部材47には、刃部材13の回動位置(特に光ファイバ100に接触する刃部材13の外周縁部の位置)を示す目盛52が形成されている。
目盛52は、図示例のように、光ファイバ100に接触する刃部材13の外周縁部の16箇所の位置を数字で示してもよいが、これに限ることはない。目盛52は、図示例のように押さえ部材47の外周面に形成されてもよいが、これに限ることはない。
本実施形態において、刃部材13と回動部材42の間の動力伝達は、回動部材42の回動位置に応じて解除される。すなわち、本実施形態の回動部材42は、回動部材42の回動位置によって固定部材41に対して係合する係合状態と係合しない切り離し状態とに切り換えられるように形成されている。
本実施形態において、回動部材42は、モータ軸部57に取り付けられている。すなわち、本実施形態の回動部材42は、モータ55を介して基台10に対して回動可能に取り付けられている。
本実施形態において、回動位置測定部60は、発光部61と、受光部62と、回動部材42及びモータ軸部57の回動位置に応じて発光部61と受光部62との間に位置する遮蔽板63と、を備える。遮蔽板63は、回動部材42、モータ軸部57の軸線A1を中心とする半円状に形成されている。回動位置測定部60において測定された回動部材42及びモータ軸部57の回動位置は、回動部材42を所定角度だけ回動させるモータ55の制御に利用される。
本実施形態では、前述したように、刃部材13及び固定部材41が刃台14に設けられ、回動部材42が基台10に設けられている。また、固定部材41と回動部材42とが、刃台14の移動方向(図8において左右方向)に並ぶように配されている。これにより、回動部材42は、刃台14が所定位置に移動した場合のみ、固定部材41と係合状態となる。具体的に、刃台14は、図3,図5,図6,図8に示すように固定部材41及び回動部材42が互いに係合可能な第一位置P1と、図9,図10に例示するように固定部材41及び回動部材42が互いに係合しない第二位置P2と、の間で移動可能とされている。すなわち、刃台14を第一位置P1と第二位置P2との間で移動させることにより、固定部材41と回動部材42とが、互いに係合する係合状態と、互いに係合しない切り離し状態とに切り換えることができる。図6,図8,図10においては、刃台14が省略されているため、刃台14に取り付けられた刃部材13によって刃台14の第一位置P1、第二位置P2を示している。
一方、刃台14の第二位置P2は、刃台14が第一位置P1から移動することで、固定部材41が回動部材42から離れた位置であれば任意であってよい。本実施形態における刃台14の第二位置P2は、蓋部17を基部110に対して閉じることで刃部材13によって光ファイバ100の表面を加傷するように刃台14が移動した後の位置である。
中継部材64は、少なくとも回動部材42に対して刃台14の移動方向に並ぶように配されていればよく、固定部材41に対して任意の位置に配されてよい。本実施形態において、中継部材64は固定部材41の下方側に配されている。
本実施形態において、操作部材65は、固定部材41(刃部材13)に係合することで固定部材41を回動させる。操作部材65は、例えば固定部材41や回動部材42に直接係合してもよいが、本実施形態では中継部材64を介して固定部材41や回動部材42に係合している。操作部材65は、回動部材42に干渉しないように、固定部材41や中継部材64に対して任意の位置に配されてよい。本実施形態において、操作部材65は固定部材41や中継部材64の下方側に配されている。
複数の窪み部67は操作部66の周方向に等間隔で配列されている。各窪み部67は、操作部66を軸方向から見て円弧状に形成されている。これにより、ユーザの指先を窪み部67にフィットさせることができ、操作部材65を手指によって簡単に回動させることができる。
本実施形態の保持機構70は、固定部材41を所定の回動位置に保持する。保持機構70は、所定値以上の可動トルクが固定部材41に作用した際に、固定部材41が所定の回動位置から回動できるように構成されている。
各係止部71は、例えば径方向において固定部材41の外側に突出する凸部であってもよいが、本実施形態では径方向において固定部材41の外側に開口する凹部73である。
係止部71をなす凹部73は、固定部材41を軸方向から見てV字状に形成されている。
図7A~図7C,図8,図10に示すように、凹部73の二つの内側面73a,73bは、固定部材41の径方向に対して固定部材41の周方向に互いに逆向きに傾斜している。固定部材41の径方向に対する凹部73の二つの内側面73a,73bの傾斜角度は互いに等しい。これにより、係止部71をなす凹部73の開口方向が、固定部材41の径方向に一致している。複数の係止部71は、係止歯車74を構成している。
被係止部75は、例えば凸部である係止部71が挿入可能な凹部であってもよい。本実施形態の被係止部75は、凹部73である係止部71に挿入可能な凸部76である。被係止部75をなす凸部76は、板ばねに折り曲げ加工を施すことで形成されている。凸部76は、任意の形状に形成されてよいが、本実施形態では固定部材41に形成された凹部73に対応するV字状に形成されている。
本実施形態において、固定部材41、回動部材42、操作部材65、中継部材64の係合構造(例えば、固定部材41と中継部材64とが係合する構造、回動部材42と中継部材64とが係合する構造、操作部材65と中継部材64とが係合する構造)は、歯車を利用して構成されている。すなわち、固定部材41、回動部材42、操作部材65、中継部材64は、それぞれ歯車81,82,83,84を備える。
回動伝達歯車81の歯数、係止歯車74の歯数は、任意であってよい。本実施形態において、回動伝達歯車81の歯数は、係止歯車74の歯数の整数倍となっている。図示例では、係止歯車74の歯数が16であり、回動伝達歯車81の歯数が32となっている。
回動部材42の歯車82のうち、歯が形成されている部分が前述した係合部53に相当し、歯が形成されていない部分が前述の非係合部54に相当する。同一の係合部53を構成する歯の数は、任意であってよいが、本実施形態では4つである。
第二中継歯車84Bは、互いに周方向の異なる位置において回動部材42の歯車82及び操作部材65の歯車83と各々係合する。本実施形態においては、第一中継歯車84Aの径寸法が第二中継歯車84Bの径寸法よりも小さく、第一中継歯車84Aの歯数が第二中継歯車84Bの歯数よりも少ない。
本実施形態では、図3,図5,図6,図8に示すように、刃台14を第一位置P1に配した状態において、モータ55の駆動力を利用して刃部材13を回動させることができる。この場合、ユーザは、基台10に設けられた操作スイッチ59(図1参照)を操作すればよい。
本実施形態において、モータ55は回動部材42を180度回動させる。回動部材42の回動は、中継部材64を介して固定部材41に伝達される。ここで、固定部材41には所定値以上の可動トルクが作用するため、保持機構70による固定部材41の係止部71(一の係止部71)と被係止部材72との係止状態が解除される。これにより、固定部材41及び刃部材13が回動部材42の回動方向に対応する方向に回動する。
ユーザが操作部材65を回動させた際には、操作部材65の回動が、中継部材64を介して固定部材41に伝達される。ここで、固定部材41に所定値以上の可動トルクが作用すると、保持機構70による固定部材41の係止部71(一の係止部71)と被係止部材72との係止状態が解除される。これにより、固定部材41及び刃部材13が操作部材65の回動方向に対応する方向に回動する。
ユーザは、被係止部材72が別の係止部71に係止する際に生じる振動や音を手指や耳で感じ取ることで、刃部材13がその接触長に対応する角度単位で回動したことを知ることができる。また、ユーザは、押さえ部材47に形成された目盛り52を視認することでも刃部材13の回動位置を知ることができる。すなわち、刃部材13を手動で回動させても、刃部材13の接触長に対応する角度単位で刃部材13を回動させることができる。
また、モータ55等の駆動源を基部110(基台10)に対して移動する刃台14に設ける場合と比較して、駆動源や配線の劣化を小さく抑えることもできる。
また、仮に、モータ55等の駆動源、駆動源を駆動するための電源(例えば電池)や制御回路等に不具合が生じたりしても、刃部材13と回動部材42の間の動力伝達を解除することで、刃部材13を手動で回動させることができる。
また、刃台14を第二位置P2から第一位置P1に移動させた際に、回動部材42と、中継部材64や固定部材41とが衝突することも防止できる。したがって、回動部材42や中継部材64、固定部材41の保護を図ることができる。
また、刃部材13が露出する基部110の上面10aと異なる方向に向く基部110の底面10cや側面10bに、操作部材65を露出させる場合には、手動で刃部材13を回動させる際に、ユーザの手が刃部材13に触れることをさらに抑制できる。
上記した保持機構70に関連する効果は、保持機構70が回動部材42、操作部材65、中継部材64を所定の回動位置に保持するように構成されても、同様に奏し得る。
また、仮に、モータ55が停止している状態において回動部材42の係合部53が中継部材64の歯車84に対向するように配されていたとしても、刃台14を第二位置P2から第一位置P1に移動させた際に回動部材42の歯車82の歯及び第二中継歯車84Bの歯の先端同士が衝突することも防止できる。
したがって、回動部材42の歯車82及び第二中継歯車84Bの保護を図ることもできる。
また、固定部材41及び回動部材42が互いに係合しない第二位置P2に刃台14が配されたときのみに、操作部材65が基部110の外部に露出する場合には、操作部材65を操作することで刃部材13を回動させる際に、回動部材42が回動してモータ55等の駆動源に負荷がかかることを確実に防ぐことができる。
回動規制機構は、例えば保持機構と別個に設けられてもよいし、例えば図13に示すように保持機構70Fに含まれてもよい。
光ファイバ切断装置が上記した回動規制機構90Fを備えることで、光ファイバ100の表面を加傷して消耗した刃部材13の外周縁部の所定の領域が、誤って再び光ファイバ100の加傷に用いられることを抑制できる。
トルクリミッタ部が磁力を利用したものである場合、トルクリミッタ部は、例えば刃部材(固定部材)や操作部材、回動部材、中継部材に設けられる磁気カップリングであってもよい。
さらに、光ファイバ切断装置がトルクリミッタ部を備える場合には、刃部材(固定部材)や操作部材と回動部材との動力伝達を解除する動作(例えば刃台を第一位置から第二位置に移動させる動作)を行うことなく、手動及び駆動源による駆動のいずれでも刃部材を回動させることができる。
Claims (11)
- 光ファイバの長手方向に間隔をあけて配された1対のクランプを有する基台と、
円板状の刃部材を有し、前記刃部材を前記1対のクランプ間で移動させて、前記光ファイバの表面を前記刃部材の外周縁部に接触させて加傷する刃部材移動台と、
前記光ファイバの加傷部を押し曲げて前記光ファイバを切断する押し当て部材と、
を備え、
前記刃部材は、前記光ファイバに接触する外周縁部の位置を変更するために前記刃部材移動台に対して回動可能に固定され、
前記基台は、前記基台に対して回動可能に固定された回動部材であって、それを回動させることで動力を伝達して前記刃部材を回動させる回動部材をさらに有し、
前記刃部材と前記回動部材の間の動力伝達が解除可能である光ファイバ切断装置。 - 前記刃部材と前記回動部材の間の動力伝達は、前記刃部材移動台が所定位置に移動した場合のみ可能である請求項1に記載の光ファイバ切断装置。
- 前記刃部材と前記回動部材の間の動力伝達は、前記回動部材の回動位置に応じて解除される請求項1又は請求項2に記載の光ファイバ切断装置。
- 前記刃部材と前記回動部材の間の動力伝達は、前記刃部材に作用するトルクが所定値以上となった場合に解除される請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の光ファイバ切断装置。
- 前記回動部材は、電磁力によって回動させる請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の光ファイバ切断装置。
- 前記刃部材移動台は、前記刃部材移動台に対して回動可能に固定され、ユーザによる回動により動力を伝達して前記刃部材を回動させる手動操作用回動部材をさらに有し、
