- the width of the protrusion is set to 0. 17 mm or more and 0.27 mm or less are preferable.
- an optical fiber core wire having a pitch of 0.20 mm is placed in a V groove of a fusion machine having a pitch of 0.25 mm, only one optical fiber core wire is applied to the slope of each V groove. Since it fits into the V-groove along the contact slope, one optical fiber core can be placed in each V-groove.
- the distance between the center position TC1 of the group T1 of optical fiber ribbons and the center position TC2 of the group T2 of optical fiber ribbons is determined by the adjacent sections 7 (7a and 7b or 7b in the optical fiber holder 1 in this embodiment). This corresponds to the distance between the centers of 7b and 7c).
- the interval between TC1 and TC2 in FIG. 12A is increased and becomes wider than in the state of FIG. 12C, a V-groove is formed in which the optical fiber core does not enter in the center.
- the distance between TC1 and TC2 is narrowed and becomes narrower than the state of FIG.
- the adjacent section 7 The distance between the centers is preferably 0.95 mm or more and 1.05 mm or less. This prevents a V-groove from entering the optical fiber core, and only one optical fiber core is in contact with the slope of each V-groove and fits into the V-groove along the slope.
