Claims (3)
- フェルールを保持し、互いに合体できる複数のフェルール保持部材を有する光ファイバの端末接続部と、
前記光ファイバの前記端末接続部が挿入されるインターフェースハウジングのキャビティと、前記インターフェースハウジングに配置され、複数の前記フェルールが挿入される複数のフェルール受け部とを有する光信号授受体側の接続部とを備え、
前記各フェルール保持部材は、前記各フェルールをその軸方向の直交方向に挿入するフェルール保持溝をそれぞれ有し、
一対の前記フェルール保持部材は、互いの前記フェルール保持溝の開口面を対向配置された状態で合体された光ファイバ接続構造であって、
前記インターフェースハウジングには、前記光ファイバの前記端末接続部が前記キャビティに挿入される過程で、前記キャビティに挿入される一対の前記フェルールの間に入り込み、一対の前記フェルールの間隔を所望のピッチ間隔にガイドして、前記各フェルールを適正な挿入位置にガイドするフェルール用ガイド部が設けられたことを特徴とする光ファイバ接続構造。 - 請求項1記載の光ファイバ接続構造であって、
合体された一対の前記フェルール保持部材と前記インターフェースハウジングには、いずれか一方に前記光ファイバの前記端末接続部が前記キャビティに挿入される際にガイドするガイド溝が、他方にガイドリブがそれぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする光ファイバ接続構造。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の光ファイバ接続構造であって、
一対の前記フェルール保持部材の一方には、互いの合体状態で嵌合する嵌合凹部が、他方には嵌合凸部がそれぞれ設けられていることを特徴とする光ファイバ接続構造。
