Abstract
Description
一端部および他端部が開口した筒状容器と、
当該筒状容器に装填された中空糸膜の束と、
前記中空糸膜の束を、前記筒状容器の両端部で包埋固定しているポッティング部と、
前記筒状容器の両端部に設けられている、流体の出入口となるノズルを有するヘッダーと、
を備えた中空糸膜モジュールにおいて、
前記ヘッダーと前記筒状容器とが、少なくとも1次溶着部および2次溶着部の2箇所の領域において溶着され、
前記2次溶着部は、前記1次溶着部の溶着開始後または溶着開始と同時に溶着が開始する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする。

を備えた中空糸膜モジュールの製造方法において、
前記ヘッダーと前記筒状容器とを、少なくとも、1次溶着部および2次溶着部の2箇所の領域において溶着するとともに、
前記2次溶着部の溶着を、前記1次溶着部の溶着開始後または溶着開始と同時に開始することを特徴とする。
先ず、本実施の形態にかかる中空糸膜モジュールの構成について説明する。図1は、中空糸膜モジュール1の構成の一例を示す断面模式図(ただし断面のみを図示したもの)である。
ヘッダー突出部22が筒状容器2の内側突出部50と外側突出部51の間に挿入された状態で、ヘッダー5と筒状容器2が超音波溶着により溶着されている。内側突出部50は、ヘッダー突出部22の中段部31及び先端部32に対向し、外側突出部51は、先端部32に対向している。
図4に示すようにポッティング部4の端面には、ポッティング部の両端部を径方向に切断して形成されたポッティング部切断面4Sが形成されている。ポッティング部4は、筒状容器2の内側突出部50よりも中心軸P方向の外側(ヘッダー5側)に突出している。ポッティング部切断面4Sは、ヘッダー5の内面の平坦面40に所定の圧力が付与された状態で当接している。これにより、流体が容易にヘッダー突出部22と筒状容器2の端部2aの隙間に入り込むことを抑制でき、ヘッダー5と筒状容器2との間の封止力を向上できる。
まず、最終的に必要な長さよりも長い中空糸膜束3が用意され、筒状容器2内に収容される。次に筒状容器2内にポッティング部4が形成される。このポッティング部4は、中空糸膜束3の両端部3aを包埋しつつ中空糸膜束3を筒状容器2の内周面50aに固定する。次に、ポッティング部4(中空糸膜束3の両端部3a)の不要部分が、中心軸Pに対し垂直の断面で切断されて、ポッティング部切断面4Sが形成される。

Claims (8)
- 一端部および他端部が開口した筒状容器と、
当該筒状容器に装填された中空糸膜の束と、
前記中空糸膜の束を、前記筒状容器の両端部で包埋固定しているポッティング部と、
前記筒状容器の両端部に設けられている、流体の出入口となるノズルを有するヘッダーと、
を備えた中空糸膜モジュールにおいて、
前記ヘッダーと前記筒状容器とが、少なくとも1次溶着部および2次溶着部の2箇所の領域において溶着され、
前記2次溶着部は、前記1次溶着部の溶着開始後または溶着開始と同時に溶着が開始する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする中空糸膜モジュール。 - 前記1次溶着部における溶融部分の、前記筒状容器の中心軸に沿った長さである溶融長さが、前記2次溶着部における溶融部分の溶着長さよりも長いか、同じ長さとなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の中空糸膜モジュール。
- 前記筒状容器に、前記ヘッダーの一部が嵌合する凹部が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の中空糸膜モジュール。
- 前記凹部は、前記筒状容器の外側面から外側に突出し、前記ヘッダーに向けて曲折した形状の鍔部によって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の中空糸膜モジュール。
- 前記1次溶着部は、前記2次溶着部等の他の溶着部よりも、前記ヘッダーの溶着ホーンとの接合面に近い側に配置されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の中空糸膜モジュール。
- 前記1次溶着部と前記2次溶着部の一方または両方で、前記ヘッダーと前記筒状容器とを溶着するジョイントデザインとしてシェアジョイントが用いられている、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の中空糸膜モジュール。
- 一端部および他端部が開口した筒状容器と、
当該筒状容器に装填された中空糸膜の束と、
前記中空糸膜の束を、前記筒状容器の両端部で包埋固定しているポッティング部と、
前記筒状容器の両端部に設けられている、流体の出入口となるノズルを有するヘッダーと、
を備えた中空糸膜モジュールの製造方法において、
前記ヘッダーと前記筒状容器とを、少なくとも1次溶着部および2次溶着部の2箇所の領域において溶着するとともに、
前記2次溶着部の溶着を、前記1次溶着部の溶着開始後または溶着開始と同時に開始することを特徴とする中空糸膜モジュールの製造方法。 - 前記1次溶着部の、前記筒状容器の中心軸に沿った溶着長さを、前記2次溶着部の溶着長さよりも長いか、同じにすることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の中空糸膜モジュールの製造方法。
