Description

回転電機用ステータ
 本発明は、回転電機用ステータに関する。
 一般的な回転電機用ステータは、複数のスロットを有するコアと、そのコアに装着されるコイルとを備える。このような回転電機用ステータにおいて、コイルがスロット内に整列配置される複数の導体線部を含んで構成されるものが知られている。導体線部におけるスロットの外に突出した端部どうしは、剥き出しの状態で接合されて接合端部を形成するため、接合後、当該部位における電気的絶縁性を確保することが必要となる。この点、例えば特開2001-238419号公報(特許文献1)には、導体線部の端部どうしの接合端部に絶縁性樹脂を塗布形成することが開示されている。また、特許文献1には、コイルエンド部の剛性を高める目的で、隣接する接合端部間を絶縁性樹脂で塞ぐことが開示されている。
 しかし、特許文献1で例示されたスプレー塗装ではマスキング等の前処理が必要であり、また、同じく例示された流動浸漬塗装では予加熱等の前処理が必要となる。また、いずれの塗装方法でも、隣接する接合端部間を絶縁性樹脂で塞ぐ場合には、塗布する絶縁性樹脂の粘度調整等の前処理が必要となる点や、接合端部間の隙間を十分に塞ぐことが容易ではない点で問題がある。
特開2001-238419号公報
 複数の導体線部を互いに接続して回転電機用ステータのコイルを構成する場合に、隣接する接合端部間の電気的絶縁性を適切に確保可能とすることが望まれている。
 本開示に係る回転電機用ステータは、
 複数のスロットを有する筒状のコアと、前記コアに装着されるコイルと、を備える回転電機用ステータであって、
 前記コイルは、前記スロット内に整列配置される複数の導体線部を含み、
 前記導体線部のそれぞれが前記スロットの外に突出した端部を有し、
 一対の前記端部が互いに接合されて接合端部を形成し、
 複数の前記接合端部が、前記コアの周方向に沿って整列配置されると共に、前記コアの径方向に沿って放射状に延びるように配置され、
 隣り合う複数の前記接合端部を一体的に覆うように、電気的絶縁性を有する樹脂材料を用いてモールド成形されたキャップ部材が設けられている。
 この構成によれば、紛体塗装等に比べて前処理の必要性の低いモールド技術を利用して、隣り合う複数の接合端部を一体的に覆うキャップ部材をモールド成形することにより、隣接する接合端部間の電気的絶縁性を容易に確保することができる。また、複数の接合端部は、コアの径方向に沿って放射状に延びるように形成されている。そのため、接合端部をコアの軸方向に沿って延びるように形成する場合に比べて、回転電機用ステータの全体の軸方向長さを短く抑えることができる。さらに、一対の接合端部の間隔が、基端側から先端側に向かうに従って次第に広くなっているため、当該一対の接合端部を一体的に覆うキャップ部材に作用する径方向の引き抜き力に対して抵抗が生じることになる。よって、例えば回転電機用ステータに振動が作用する場合等にも、接合端部からのキャップ部材の抜け止めを図ることができる。従って、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。
 本開示に係る技術のさらなる特徴と利点は、図面を参照して記述する以下の例示的かつ非限定的な実施形態の説明によってより明確になるであろう。

〔第1の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第1の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態のステータ1は、回転電機用のステータであり、ロータ(図示せず)と共に用いられる。「回転電機」は、モータ(電動機)、ジェネレータ(発電機)、並びに必要に応じてモータ及びジェネレータの双方の機能を果たすモータ・ジェネレータのいずれをも含む概念である。より具体的には、ステータ1は、例えば回転界磁型の回転電機に用いられるステータであり、電機子として機能する。ステータ1の径方向内側には、永久磁石や電磁石等を備えた界磁としてのロータがエアギャップを介して配置されている。ロータは、ステータ1から発生する回転磁界によって回転する。
 なお、以下の説明において、「軸方向L」、「周方向C」、及び「径方向R」は、円筒状のコア3の軸芯を基準として定義する。コア3の軸芯は、コア3の内周面の軸芯である。また、以下の説明において、コイル4やキャップ部材6を構成する各部の説明における位置や方向等についての言及は、特に断らない限り、コア3に装着された状態(図1を参照)での位置や方向等を意図しているものとする。
 図1に示すように、ステータ1は、筒状のコア(ステータコア)3と、コア3に装着されるコイル(ステータコイル)4とを備えている。コア3は、磁性材料を用いて形成され、例えば複数枚の磁性体板(例えば、ケイ素鋼板等の電磁鋼板)を軸方向Lに積層して形成されている。磁性材料の粉体を加圧成形してなる圧粉材を主な構成要素として、コア3が形成されても良い。コア3は、中空円筒状に形成されている。図2に示すように、コア3は、円環状に形成されるヨーク部31と、ヨーク部31から径方向内向きに延びる複数のティース32とを有する。複数のティース32は、周方向Cに沿って等間隔で配置されている。周方向Cに隣接する2つのティース32の間には、スロット33が形成されている。スロット33は、径方向内向きに開口するように形成されている。複数のスロット33は、周方向Cに沿って等間隔で配置されている。
 本実施形態では、ステータ1は三相交流(多相交流の一例)で駆動される回転電機のステータであり、コア3には、U相用のスロット33、V相用のスロット33、及びW相用のスロット33が、周方向Cに沿って繰り返し現れるように配置されている。例えば、毎極毎相あたりのスロット数が“2”とされ、コア3には、各相用のスロット33が周方向Cに沿って2つずつ繰り返し現れるように配置されている。本実施形態では、毎相あたりの磁極数が“16”(磁極対数が“8”)であり、コア3には合計で96(=2×16×3)個のスロット33が配置されている。
 各スロット33には、内壁(スロット内壁)に沿って絶縁シート36が配置されている。絶縁シート36は、コア3とコイル4との間の電気的絶縁性を確保するために設けられている。絶縁シート36は、絶縁性及び耐熱性に優れる材料で形成されたシート材であり、例えば樹脂シートや紙製シート等で構成することができる。また、各スロット33には、コイル4を構成する巻線部42のコイル辺部43が配置されている。
 コイル4は、導体線40で構成されている。導体線40は、金属材料(例えば銅やアルミニウム等)等の導電性材料を用いて形成された線状の導体(線状導体)を含み、その表面には樹脂等の絶縁性材料や酸化被膜等からなる絶縁皮膜が設けられている。本実施形態では、導体線40は、矩形状の断面形状を有する平角線で構成されている。「矩形状」とは、矩形のほか、概略形状が矩形のものを含み、例えば角部が円弧状に丸み付けされた矩形や角部に面取りがされた矩形等をも含む概念である。「矩形状の断面形状を有する」とは、延在方向に直交する断面の形状が矩形状であることを意味する。
 本実施形態のコイル4は、導体線40を巻回して構成された巻線部42を複数備えている。本実施形態では、コイル4は、ティース32及びスロット33と同数(本例では96個)の巻線部42を備えている。巻線部42は、コア3に装着される前に曲げ加工によって、径方向Rに見て例えば多角形状(例えば六角形状や八角形状等)に成形されている。
巻線部42は、一対のスロット33間に巻装(装着の一例)されている。
 巻線部42のそれぞれは、軸方向Lに延びるコイル辺部43(図2を参照)と、周方向Cに延びる渡り部44(図3を参照)とを備えている。コイル辺部43は、スロット33の内部に配置されている。コイル辺部43は、スロット33を軸方向Lに貫くように直線状に延びている。周方向Cの異なる位置に配置されるコイル辺部43は、巻線部42が巻装される一対のスロット33に分かれて配置される。それぞれの巻線部42において、周方向Cの一方側のコイル辺部43と周方向Cの他方側のコイル辺部43とは、例えば6スロット分だけ互いに離れた一対のスロット33に分かれて配置される。渡り部44は、互いに異なるスロット33内に配置される一対のコイル辺部43どうしをコア3の外側(軸方向Lの外側)で周方向Cに接続している。
 本実施形態では、巻線部42は、導体線40を複数回周回させて形成されている。図2に示すように、1つの巻線部42における1つのスロット33内に配置される複数本のコイル辺部43は、径方向Rに隣接する2つのコイル辺部43間に導体線40相当分の大きさの空間が形成されるように、径方向Rに沿って隙間をあけながら一列に並んで配置される。径方向Rに隣接する2本のコイル辺部43間の隙間のそれぞれに、同相の他の巻線部42のコイル辺部43が配置される。こうして、それぞれのスロット33内に、複数のコイル辺部43が径方向Rに一列に並んで配置されると共に、第1の巻線部42の周方向Cの一方側のコイル辺部43と第2の巻線部42の周方向Cの他方側のコイル辺部43とが、径方向Rに沿って1本ずつ交互に配置される。このように、コイル4(巻線部42)は、スロット33内に整列配置される複数のコイル辺部43を有する。本実施形態では、コイル辺部43が「導体線部」に相当する。
 コイル辺部43のそれぞれは、スロット33の外に突出した端部を有する。同じ巻線部42に含まれる一対のコイル辺部43の端部どうしが一体的に接続されて、上述した渡り部44が形成されている。一方、コイル辺部43からスロット33の外に突出して延びる部分のうち、同じ巻線部42に含まれる他のコイル辺部43の端部には接続されない部分は、接続部45(図1及び図3を参照)となっている。接続部45は、当該接続部45が属する巻線部42を他の巻線部42と接続するための部位である。
 巻線部42のそれぞれは、その両端部に接続部45を備えている。接続部45は、全て、軸方向Lの一方側におけるコア3の外側(軸方向Lの外側)に配置されている。図1から理解できるように、内層側(径方向内側)のコイル辺部43から延びる接続部45は、渡り部44よりもコア3の外側(コア3から離れた位置)を通って、外層側(径方向外側)のコイル辺部43から延びる接続部45に接続されている。本実施形態の接続部45は、その端部45eが、径方向Rに沿って延びるように配置されている(図3も参照)。
 一対の巻線部42は、それぞれの接続部45の端部45eどうしが互いに接合されて電気的に接続されている。一対の端部45eどうしの接合は、導体線40から絶縁皮膜を除去して線状導体を露出させた状態(剥き出しの状態)で、例えばTIG溶接等のアーク溶接、電子ビーム溶接、レーザビーム溶接、抵抗溶接、超音波溶接、蝋付け、半田付け等によって行うことができる。図3に示すように、本実施形態では、径方向Rに沿って延びるように配置された一対の端部45eは、周方向Cに対向する側面45aどうしが互いに接する状態で接合されている。また、一対の端部45eは、突出先端側(本実施形態では径方向外側)を向く先端面45bどうしが、径方向Rの位置をおおよそ揃えた状態で接合されている。このようにして互いに直接接合された一対の端部45eにより、接合端部48が形成されている。
 本実施形態では、接合端部48は、接続部45の端部45eが延びる方向と同方向である径方向Rに沿って延びるように配置されている。そして、複数の接合端部48が、径方向Rに沿って放射状に延びるように配置されている。すなわち、本実施形態では、接合端部48は、その延出方向Eが径方向Rに一致するように配置されている。また、複数の接合端部48は、複数のスロット33の配列方向である周方向Cに沿って整列配置されている。すなわち、本実施形態では、接合端部48は、その並び方向(整列配置された複数の接合端部48の配列方向)Aが周方向Cに一致するように配置されている。また、本実施形態では、スロット33と同数(本例では96個)の接合端部48が、スロット33の配設ピッチに対応するピッチで配置されている。
 剥き出しの状態の導体線40が接合されてなる接合端部48を、接合後において適切に絶縁するため、接合端部48を覆うキャップ部材6が設けられている。キャップ部材6は、電気的絶縁性を有する樹脂材料を用いて形成されている。また、キャップ部材6は、一定以上の機械的強度を有する樹脂材料を用いて形成されている。キャップ部材6を構成する樹脂材料は、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂のいずれを用いても良い。より具体的な樹脂材料としては、例えばPPS(ポリフェニレンサルファイド)、LCP(液晶ポリマー)、PA(ポリアミド)、PBT(ポリブチレンテレフタレート)、PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)、PS(ポリスチレン)、PEEK(ポリエーテルエーテルケトン)、PF(フェノール樹脂)、MF(メラミン樹脂)、及びEP(エポキシ樹脂)等を用いることができる。製造設備の小型化を図ることの容易性の観点からは熱可塑性樹脂を好ましく用いることができ、例えばPPSやPBT等が特に好ましい。
 キャップ部材6は、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように設けられている。このようにすることで、コイル4におけるコア3から軸方向Lに突出する部分であるコイルエンド部の剛性を高めることができる。本実施形態では、キャップ部材6は、周方向Cに隣り合う2つの接合端部48を一体的に覆っている。そして、接合端部48の個数の半数(本例では48個)のキャップ部材6が、複数の接合端部48の配列方向である周方向Cに沿って整列配置されている。複数のキャップ部材6は、全体として、軸方向Lの一方側におけるコア3の外側(軸方向Lの外側)において環状をなすように配置されている(図1を参照)。
 図3及び図4に示すように、キャップ部材6は、隣り合う2つの接合端部48を一体的に覆う本体部61と、その本体部61に窪み形成された凹溝62とを有する。本体部61は、隣り合う2つの接合端部48の周方向Cの両側、軸方向Lの両側、及び径方向外側を所定厚みを有する状態で完全に被覆する扁平な直方体状に形成されている。凹溝62は、周方向Cに隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に挟まれる部分を有するように形成されている。ここでは、凹溝62は、隣り合う一対の接合端部48どうしの周方向Cの間に介在して延びるように切れ込み状に形成されている。なお、凹溝62は、本体部61に意図的に窪み形成された溝部であり、キャップ部材6を構成する樹脂材料が引き起こす成形収縮によって生じる“ヒケ”に代表される、製造主体の意図に反して生じ得る凹部は、ここで言う凹溝62には含まれない。
 本実施形態では、凹溝62は、接合端部48の延出方向Eに直交する軸方向Lに沿う深さを有すると共に、接合端部48の延出方向Eである径方向Rに沿って延びるように形成されている。また、凹溝62は、その延在方向(径方向R)に見て、台形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている。
 凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48と重複する部分を有するように形成されている。凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の半分以上(好ましくは3/4以上であり、さらに好ましくは4/5以上)と重複する部分を有するように形成されている。本実施形態では、凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複するように形成されている。すなわち、凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の配置領域全体に亘る軸方向Lの深さ(導体線40を構成する平角線1本分の短辺幅以上の深さ)を有するように形成されている。
 このようなキャップ部材6を接合端部48に設けるには、接合端部48の形成後(すなわち、接続部45の端部45eどうしの接合後)に、モールド技術(例えば射出成形技術)を利用して行うことができる。すなわち、接合端部48の形成後に、径方向Rに突出して環状に配列される接合端部48を軸方向Lに挟み込んで型締めされる金型を用いて、モールド成形によってキャップ部材6を形成することができる。型締めされた状態の金型の内部に形成されるキャビティの形状は、キャップ部材6(凹溝62が窪み形成された本体部61)の外形に対応する形状に設定される。
 ところで、モールド成形によってキャップ部材6を形成する場合、仮に隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間にボイドが発生してしまうと、当該ボイドの内部における沿面放電によって、接合端部48の間に短絡が生じる可能性がある。この点、本実施形態では、キャップ部材6に、隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に挟まれる部分を有するように形成された凹溝62が設けられている。これにより、仮に一対の接合端部48のそれぞれと凹溝62との間にボイドが発生したとしても、当該凹溝62に沿って屈曲する分だけ沿面距離が大きくなる。よって、一対の接合端部48の間で短絡が生じる可能性を低減することができる。
 また、一対の接合端部48の間に凹溝62を設けることで、そもそもボイド自体が発生しにくくなることが期待できる。すなわち、ボイドは、モールド成形されたキャップ部材6の内部に生じる気泡等を起因としてキャップ部材6の内部に発生するものである。そのため、凹溝62を設けることで、モールド樹脂の厚みが低減されるので、ボイドが発生する可能性のある範囲も低減される。従って、ボイド自体が発生しにくくなる。また、凹溝62を設けることにより、凹溝62の表面におけるボイドの発生の有無を目視や画像検査等により外側から確認することができる。さらに、凹溝62の表面におけるボイドの有無が外側から確認できない場合であっても、例えば真空放電試験等により、絶縁性能を判定することができる。このように、一対の接合端部48の間に凹溝62を設けることで、そのような凹溝62が設けらない構成と比較して、そもそもボイド自体が発生しにくくなることが期待できる。さらに、各種検査によってボイドに起因する絶縁性能の低下の有無を判定することができる。よって、これらの相乗効果により、一対の接合端部48の間で短絡が生じる可能性を有効に低減することができる。従って、モールド技術の利用と、形成されるキャップ部材6の形状の工夫との組み合わせにより、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。
 また、本実施形態では、キャップ部材6が、それぞれ径方向Rに沿って放射状に延びるように配置された、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように設けられている。このため、径方向外側に向かうに従って次第に周方向Cの間隔が広くなる一対の接合端部48は、自ずと、キャップ部材6に対して引き抜き抵抗力を付与する。よって、例えばステータ1に振動が作用する場合等にも、接合端部48からのキャップ部材6の抜け止めを図ることができ、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。従って、例えばステータ1が車両の駆動力源として用いられる回転電機に備えられ、比較的大きな振動が継続的に作用することが予定される場合であっても、当該回転電機の信頼性を適切に確保することができる。
〔第2の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第2の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、キャップ部材6における凹溝62の具体的形成態様が第1の実施形態とは異なっている。以下、本実施形態のステータ1について、主に第1の実施形態との相違点について説明する。なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第1の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図5及び図6に示すように、本実施形態の凹溝62は、接合端部48の延出方向Eである径方向Rに沿う深さを有すると共に、接合端部48の延出方向Eに直交する軸方向Lに沿って延びるように形成されている。凹溝62は、その延在方向(軸方向L)に見て、台形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている。断面台形状の凹溝62は、径方向内側に向かって開口するように形成されており、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うキャップ部材6は、径方向外側の部分で一体化されている。凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複する部分を有するように形成されている。すなわち、凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の配置領域全体に亘る径方向Rの深さ(キャップ部材6に埋もれている接続部45の長さ以上の深さ)を有するように形成されている。
 本実施形態の構成でも、第1の実施形態と同様に、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。また、接合端部48からのキャップ部材6の抜け止めを図ることができ、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。
〔第3の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第3の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、コイル4における接合端部48の配置態様が第1の実施形態とは異なり、それに伴い、キャップ部材6における凹溝62の具体的形成態様も第1の実施形態とは一部異なっている。以下、本実施形態のステータ1について、主に第1の実施形態との相違点について説明する。なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第1の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図7及び図8に示すように、本実施形態の接続部45の端部45eは、軸方向Lに沿って延びるように配置されている。そして、接合端部48は、接続部45の端部45eが延びる方向と同方向である軸方向Lに沿って互いに平行に延びるように配置されている。本実施形態では、接合端部48の延出方向Eが軸方向Lに一致している。複数の接合端部48の並び方向Aが周方向Cに一致するのは、第1の実施形態と同様である。
 本実施形態のキャップ部材6は、隣り合う2つの接合端部48の周方向Cの両側、径方向Rの両側、及び軸方向外側(軸方向Lにおけるコア3とは反対側)を覆うように形成されている。そして、一対の接合端部48の間に挟まれる部分を有する凹溝62は、接合端部48の延出方向Eに直交する径方向Rに沿う深さを有すると共に、接合端部48の延出方向Eである軸方向Lに沿って延びるように形成されている。凹溝62は、その延在方向(軸方向L)に見て、台形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている。凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複する部分を有するように形成されている。すなわち、凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の配置領域全体に亘る径方向Rの深さ(導体線40を構成する平角線1本分の短辺幅以上の深さ)を有するように形成されている。
 本実施形態の構成でも、第1の実施形態と同様に、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。
 なお、一対の接合端部48が、軸方向外側に向かうに従って周方向Cに離間又は近接するように、接続部45における接合端部48よりもコア3側に屈曲部が形成されていても良い。このようにすれば、一対の接合端部48がキャップ部材6に対して引き抜き抵抗力を付与することになる。よって、接合端部48からのキャップ部材6の抜け止めを図ることができ、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。
〔第4の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第4の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、キャップ部材6における凹溝62の具体的形成態様が第3の実施形態とは異なっている。以下、本実施形態のステータ1について、主に第3の実施形態との相違点について説明する。なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第3の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図9に示すように、本実施形態の凹溝62は、接合端部48の延出方向Eである軸方向Lに沿う深さを有すると共に、接合端部48の延出方向Eに直交する径方向Rに沿って延びるように形成されている。凹溝62は、その延在方向(径方向R)に見て、台形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている。断面台形状の凹溝62は、軸方向内側(軸方向Lにおけるコア3側)に向かって開口するように形成されており、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うキャップ部材6は、軸方向外側の部分で一体化されている。凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複する部分を有するように形成されている。すなわち、凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の配置領域全体に亘る軸方向Lの深さ(キャップ部材6に埋もれている接続部45の長さ以上の深さ)を有するように形成されている。
 本実施形態の構成でも、第3の実施形態と同様に、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。
〔第5の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第5の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、コイル4における接合端部48の形成態様が第1の実施形態とは一部異なっている。また、キャップ部材6における凹溝62の具体的形成態様も第1の実施形態とは一部異なっている。以下、本実施形態のステータ1について、主に第1の実施形態との相違点について説明する。
なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第1の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図10に示すように、本実施形態の接合端部48は、一対の接続部45の端部45eどうしが軸方向Lに重ね合わされた状態で接合されて形成されている。これに伴い、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うキャップ部材6は、第1の実施形態に比べて扁平度の低い直方体状に形成されている。凹溝62は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複するように形成されている。すなわち、凹溝62は、周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の配置領域全体に亘る軸方向Lの深さ(導体線40を構成する平角線2本分の短辺幅の和以上の深さ)を有するように形成されている。また、本実施形態の凹溝62は、その延在方向(径方向R)に見て、三角形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている。
 本実施形態の構成でも、第1の実施形態と同様に、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。また、接合端部48からのキャップ部材6の抜け止めを図ることができ、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。
〔第6の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第6の実施形態について説明する。本実施形態では、キャップ部材6の具体的構成が第1の実施形態とは一部異なっている。以下、本実施形態のステータ1について、主に第1の実施形態との相違点について説明する。なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第1の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図11に示すように、本実施形態のキャップ部材6では、周方向Cに隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に挟まれる部分を有するように形成された凹溝62に、絶縁部材65が一体的に保持されている。絶縁部材65は、例えば樹脂シートや紙製シート等で構成された絶縁シート部材であり、キャップ部材6とは別部材で構成されている。「別部材で構成される」とは、注目している2つの部材がそれぞれ独立した工程で作製されることを意味する。絶縁部材65の構成材料自体は、キャップ部材6の構成材料と同じであっても良いし異なっていても良い。好ましくは、例えばPA(ポリアミド)やPI(ポリイミド)等を主体とする樹脂製シート部材を絶縁部材65として用いることができる。
 このような絶縁部材65が一体化されたキャップ部材6は、モールド成形時に、周方向Cに隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に介在するように絶縁部材65を金型内に配置して、絶縁部材65をインサートすることによって形成することができる。なお、本実施形態では、キャップ部材6に埋もれている絶縁部材65の外表面に沿って、凹溝62が形成される。絶縁部材65は、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複するように配置されている。
 本実施形態の構成でも、第1の実施形態と同様に、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。また、接合端部48からのキャップ部材6の抜け止めを図ることができ、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。
 本実施形態ではさらに、隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に、周方向Cに見て接合端部48の全体と重複するように絶縁部材65が配置されているので、一対の接合端部48間がボイドで繋がるような事態を確実性高く回避することができる。よって、隣接する接合端部48間の電気的絶縁性を、より一層、容易かつ適切に確保することができる。
〔第7の実施形態〕
 回転電機用ステータの第7の実施形態について説明する。上述した第1~6の実施形態では、キャップ部材6が凹溝62を有する構成であった。一方、本実施形態では、キャップ部材6が、凹溝62を有さない構成となっている。以下、本実施形態に係るステータ1の構成について、主に第1の実施形態との相違点について説明する。ここで、第7の実施形態を説明するにあたり、周方向Cの一方側を周方向第一側C1と定義し、その反対側を周方向第二側C2と定義する。なお、特に明記しない点に関しては、第1の実施形態と同様であり、同一の符号を付して詳細な説明は省略する。
 図12に示すように、コイル4は、互いに位相が異なる複数相の交流電流のそれぞれが流れる複数の相コイル7を備えている。すなわち、本実施形態のステータ1も、U相、V相及びW相からなる三相交流で駆動される回転電機のステータである。そのため、相コイル7は、U相用の相コイルであるU相コイル7U、V相用の相コイルであるV相コイル7V及びW相用のコイルであるW相コイル7Wを有している。U相コイル7U、V相コイル7V及びW相コイル7Wのそれぞれの接続部45は、図12に示すように、径方向Rに沿って延びるように配置された端部45eを有している。本実施形態では、図14に示すように、一対の端部45eが軸方向Lに重ねられると共に、互いに接合されて接合端部48を形成している。図12に示すように、端部45eが一対ずつ接合され、複数の接合端部48が形成される。複数の接合端部48には、U相コイル7Uからなる一対の端部45eを接合して形成されるU相接合端部48Uと、V相コイル7Vからなる一対の端部45eを接合して形成されるV相接合端部48Vと、W相コイル7Wからなる一対の端部45eを接合して形成されるW相接合端部48Wと、が含まれている。
 複数の接合端部48は、コア3の周方向Cに沿って整列配置されている。本実施形態では、毎極毎相あたりのスロット数が“2”とされている。そのため、図12に示すように、U相接合端部48U、U相接合端部48U、V相接合端部48V、V相接合端部48V、W相接合端部48W、W相接合端部48W・・・というように、同相の接合端部48が2つずつ、周方向Cに沿って順に配置されている。
 このように、本実施形態では、同相の2つの相コイル7に対応する接合端部48が、周方向Cに沿って2つずつ連続して配置されるように構成されている。そのため、ある1つの接合端部48に着目した場合に、周方向Cにおける、当該接合端部48と同相の接合端部48が配置される側とは反対側には、異相の接合端部48が配置されている。図13は、複数の接合端部48の配置関係を模式的に示した図である。そして、周方向Cに並ぶ複数の接合端部48のそれぞれを、周方向第二側C2に向かって数が大きくなるように順番にナンバリングしている。例えば、#6のV相接合端部48Vに着目すると、#6のV相接合端部48Vの周方向第一側C1には、これと同相である#5のV相接合端部48Vが配置されている。#6のV相接合端部48Vの周方向第二側C2には、これと異相である#7のW相接合端部48Wが配置されている。
 図12に示すように、複数の接合端部48は、コア3の径方向Rに沿って放射状に延びるように配置されている。本実施形態では、全ての接合端部48が、コア3の軸芯を中心とする径方向Rに沿って放射状に延びるように配置されている。そのため、隣接する接合端部48どうしの周方向Cの間隔は、径方向Rの外側に向かうに従って広くなっている。
 キャップ部材6は、同相の相コイル7の複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように形成されている。本実施形態では、U相接合端部48Uと、これに対して周方向Cの一方側で隣接するU相接合端部48Uと、がキャップ部材6により一体的に覆われている。V相接合端部48V及びW相接合端部48Wについても同様である。このように、キャップ部材6で一体的に覆われた複数の接合端部48は、異相の相コイル7どうしに比べて電位差の低い同相の相コイル7どうしであるため、短絡等の問題が生じる可能性は低くなる。また、本実施形態では、径方向Rに沿って放射状に延びるように配置された複数の接合端部48をキャップ部材6によって一体的に覆うことにより、キャップ部材6の抜け方向である径方向Rの外方向に対する抵抗力が生じ、抜け止め効果を奏する。
 同相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48の周方向Cの間隔は、周方向Cの少なくとも一部の領域において、異相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48の間隔よりも狭くされている。図13においてAD1及びAD2で示す間隔は「異相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48の間隔」である。AS1及びAS2で示す間隔は「同相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48の周方向Cの間隔」である。以下、説明の便宜上、AD1及びAD2のそれぞれを、第一異相間隔AD1、第二異相間隔AD2と称する。また、AS1及びAS2のそれぞれを、第一同相間隔AS1、第二同相間隔AS2と称する。
 接合端部48が配置される周方向Cの領域は、第二異相間隔AD2及び第二同相間隔AS2が同じ間隔にされつつ周方向Cに交互に設けられる均等領域と、第二異相間隔AD2及び第二同相間隔AS2よりも狭くされた第一同相間隔AS1と第二異相間隔AD2及び第二同相間隔AS2よりも広くされた第一異相間隔AD1とが設けられる不均等領域と、を含んでいる。ここで、均等領域は、複数の接合端部48の間隔が均等に配置されている領域であり、不均等領域は、複数の接合端部48の間隔が不均等に配置されている領域である。本実施形態では、例えば図13に示すように、#1のW相接合端部48Wから#4のU相接合端部48Uまでの周方向Cの領域及び#9のU相接合端部48Uから#12のV相接合端部48Vまでの周方向Cの領域が、均等領域である。また、#5のV相接合端部48Vから#8のW相接合端部48Wまでの周方向Cの領域が、不均等領域である。不均等領域では、#5のV相接合端部48V及び#6のV相接合端部48Vの間である周方向Cの間隔が狭くされており、この間隔が第一同相間隔AS1となっている。同様に、#7のW相接合端部48W及び#8のW相接合端部48Wの間である周方向Cの間隔が狭くされており、この間隔が第一同相間隔AS1となっている。不均等領域では、このように一部の間隔が狭くなっている分、#6のV相接合端部48V及び#7のW相接合端部48Wの間である周方向Cの間隔が広くされており、この間隔が第一異相間隔AD1となっている。この第一異相間隔AD1は、均等領域及び不均等領域における隣り合う一対の接合端部48により形成される周方向Cの間隔の中で、最も広い間隔となっている。第一異相間隔AD1及び第一同相間隔AS1は、例えば、周方向Cの領域で複数の接合端部48を同じ間隔に配置した後、その中から任意の接合端部48を選択し、同相の接合端部48どうしの間隔を狭くするように変形させることで形成できる。例えば、図13に示すように、#6のV相接合端部48V及び#7のW相接合端部48Wの双方を、変形させる対象として選択する。そして、#6のV相接合端部48Vを周方向第一側C1に寄せつつ、#7のW相接合端部48Wを周方向第二側C2に寄せることにより、#6のV相接合端部48V及び#7のW相接合端部48Wの間に、第一異相間隔AD1が形成される。
 ここで、図12に示すように、コア3は、他の部材に取り付けるための取付部8を有している。本実施形態では、取付部8は、コア3に設けられた取付孔に挿通されるボルト等の締結部材である。他の部材は、ステータ1を取り付ける部材であり、例えばステータ1を収容するケースなどである。
 取付部8は、コア3の軸方向Lに見て、異相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48の間に配置されている。ここでは、取付部8は、接合端部48と径方向Rの位置が同じとなる部分を有するように配置されている。本実施形態では、図13に示すように、異相の相コイル7の隣り合う複数の接合端部48のうち、#6のV相接合端部48Vと#7のW相接合端部48Wとの間の第一異相間隔AD1に、取付部8が配置される。周方向Cの全域において最も広い間隔である第一異相間隔AD1に対応して取付部8が配置されるため、取付部8と接合端部48とが接触しないようにすることが容易になっている。従って、取付部8と接合端部48とが接触することによる短絡等の問題が生じる可能性を低くできる。
〔その他の実施形態〕
(1)上記の各実施形態では、凹溝62が、一対の接合端部48の並び方向Aである周方向Cに見て、接合端部48の全体と重複するように形成されている構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば図15に示すように、凹溝62が周方向Cに見て接合端部48の一部(図示の例では3/4程度)のみと重複するように形成されても良い。凹溝62の深さは、仮に本体部61にボイドが生じた場合にも一対の接合端部48間に必要な沿面距離を確保することができるような深さに設定されると良い。
(2)上記の各実施形態では、凹溝62が、台形状又は三角形状の断面形状を有するように形成されている構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば図15に示すように、凹溝62が長方形状の断面形状を有するように形成されても良い。これら以外にも、凹溝62の断面形状は、非アンダーカット形状であれば適宜の形状を選択することができる。
(3)上記の各実施形態では、キャップ部材6が、周方向Cに隣り合う2つの接合端部48を一体的に覆う構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば図16に示すように、キャップ部材6が周方向Cに隣り合う3つ以上の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように構成されても良い。この際、キャップ部材6により一体的に覆われる3つ以上の接合端部48は、異相の相コイルから形成されるものであっても良い。例えば図17に示すように、同相の相コイルから形成される2つの接合端部48U、48Uと、これら接合端部48U、48Uとは異相の相コイルから形成される1つの接合端部48Wと、をキャップ部材6が一体的に覆うように構成されても良い。このとき、互いに異相の相コイルから形成される接合端部48U、48Wの間には凹溝62が形成されるとさらに好適である。また、図示省略するが、凹溝62を形成する代わりに、接合端部48U、48Wの間隔を広く形成しても好適である。ここで、接合端部48の個数の約数を「D」で表すと、キャップ部材6は、周方向Cに隣り合うD個の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように構成されることが好ましい。この場合、1つのキャップ部材6あたり、全ての周方向Cに隣り合う一対の接合端部48の間に、計(D-1)個の凹溝62が設けられる。
(4)上記の各実施形態では、接合端部48の延出方向Eが径方向R又は軸方向Lに一致している構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば径方向R又は軸方向Lに対して交差する方向に沿って接合端部48が延びるように構成されても良い。また、接合端部48の延出方向Eが径方向Rに一致する場合において、径方向内向きに接合端部48が延びるように構成されても良い。
(5)上記の各実施形態では、一対の接続部45の端部45eどうしが直接接合されている構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば一対の接続部45の端部45eどうしが、それらとは別部材からなる接続部材を介して接続されても良い。本明細書では、そのような間接的な接続態様も「一対の端部が互いに接合される」との概念に含まれるものとする。この場合、接続部材の両端部において、当該接続部材の端部と接続部45の端部45eとが接合されて、2つの接合端部48が形成される。
(6)上記の各実施形態では、コイル4が、スロット33内に一列に並んで整列配置される複数のコイル辺部43を有する構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えばスロット33内において、複数のコイル辺部43が複数列で整列配置されても良い。
(7)上記の各実施形態では、コイル4が複数の巻線部42を備えている構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えばコイル4が、1本のコイル辺部43とそこから延びる一対の接続部45とからなるセグメント導体を複数備えて構成されても良い。この場合、接合端部48は、周方向Cだけでなく径方向Rにも沿って整列配置される。キャップ部材6は、周方向Cに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように設けられても良いし、径方向Rに隣り合う複数の接合端部48を一体的に覆うように設けられても良い。
(8)上記の各実施形態の構成において、ステータ1自体の仕様は任意に設定することができる。例えば、相数、磁極数、スロット数、層数(1つのスロット33内において径方向Rに並んで配置されるコイル辺部43の個数)、及びコイル4の巻き方等は、回転電機に求められる特性等に応じて適宜設定されて良い。
(9)上記の各実施形態では、ステータ1を備える回転電機が、車両の駆動力源として用いられる車両駆動用回転電機である構成を主に想定して説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば産業機器用やロボット用など、あらゆる用途の回転電機に備えられるステータ1に、本開示に係る技術を適用することができる。
(10)上記第7の実施形態では、第一同相間隔AS1と第一異相間隔AD1とが設けられる不均等領域の中に、2箇所の第一同相間隔AS1が設けられた例について説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、不均等領域に設けられる第一同相間隔AS1は、1箇所であっても良い。この場合には、第一同相間隔AS1を形成するいずれか一方の接合端部48に対して周方向第一側C1又は周方向第二側C2に、第一異相間隔AD1が形成される。
(11)上記第7の実施形態では、図13に示すように、接合端部48が設けられる周方向Cの領域が、複数の接合端部48が等間隔に配置された均等領域とそうでない不均等領域とを含んでおり、当該不均等領域における第一異相間隔AD1に取付部8が配置された例について説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、図18に示すように、周方向Cの全域において、同相間隔が、異相間隔よりも狭い一定の第三同相間隔AS3とされ、周方向Cの全域において、異相間隔が、第三同相間隔AS3よりも広い一定の第三異相間隔AD3とされても良い。この場合には、周方向Cの全域において同じ間隔の異相間隔が複数形成されるので、その中の一部の異相間隔に取付部8が配置されると良い。この構成によれば、例えば、製造上又は組み立て上の制約などにより取付部8の配置位置が限定されることがあっても、複数の第三異相間隔AD3のうちから当該制約を受けない配置位置を選んで取付部8を設けることができる。
(12)上記第7の実施形態では、取付部8が、接合端部48と径方向Rの位置が同じとなる部分を有するように配置された例について説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、取付部8は、例えば図1に示すように、接合端部48よりも径方向Rの外側に配置されても良い。
(13)上記第7の実施形態では、図14に示すように、一対の端部45eが軸方向Lに重ねられると共に、互いに接合されて接合端部48を形成している構成を例として説明した。しかし、そのような構成に限定されることなく、例えば図19に示すように、一対の端部45eは、周方向Cに重ねられると共に、互いに接合されて接合端部48を形成していても良い。この構成によれば、一対の端部45eを軸方向Lに重ねる場合に比べて、ステータ1の軸方向Lの全長が長くなるのを抑制することができる。
 なお、上述した各実施形態(上記の各実施形態及びその他の実施形態を含む;以下同様)で開示される構成は、矛盾が生じない限り、他の実施形態で開示される構成と組み合わせて適用することも可能である。
 その他の構成に関しても、本明細書において開示された実施形態は全ての点で単なる例示に過ぎないと理解されるべきである。従って、当業者は、本開示の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲内で、適宜、種々の改変を行うことが可能である。
〔実施形態の概要〕
 以上をまとめると、本開示に係る回転電機用ステータは、好適には、以下の各構成を備える。

 複数のスロット(33)を有する筒状のコア(3)と、前記コア(3)に装着されるコイル(4)と、を備える回転電機用ステータ(1)であって、
 前記コイル(4)は、前記スロット(33)内に整列配置される複数の導体線部(34)を含み、
 前記導体線部(34)のそれぞれが前記スロット(33)の外に突出した端部(45e)を有し、
 一対の前記端部(45e)が互いに接合されて接合端部(48)を形成し、
 複数の前記接合端部(48)が、前記コア(3)の周方向に沿って整列配置されると共に、前記コア(3)の径方向(R)に沿って放射状に延びるように配置され、
 隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)を一体的に覆うように、電気的絶縁性を有する樹脂材料を用いてモールド成形されたキャップ部材(6)が設けられている。
 この構成によれば、紛体塗装等に比べて前処理の必要性の低いモールド技術を利用して、隣り合う複数の接合端部(48)を一体的に覆うキャップ部材(6)をモールド成形することにより、隣接する接合端部(48)間の電気的絶縁性を容易に確保することができる。また、複数の接合端部(48)は、コア(3)の径方向(R)に沿って放射状に延びるように形成されている。そのため、接合端部(48)をコア(3)の軸方向(L)に沿って延びるように形成する場合に比べて、回転電機用ステータ(1)の全体の軸方向長さを短く抑えることができる。さらに、一対の接合端部(48)の間隔が、基端側から先端側に向かうに従って次第に広くなっているため、当該一対の接合端部(48)を一体的に覆うキャップ部材(6)に作用する径方向(R)の引き抜き力に対して抵抗が生じることになる。よって、例えば回転電機用ステータ(1)に振動が作用する場合等にも、接合端部(48)からのキャップ部材(6)の抜け止めを図ることができる。従って、振動等が作用する環境下でも、隣接する接合端部(48)間の電気的絶縁性を長期に亘って適切に維持することができる。

 前記コイル(4)は、互いに位相が異なる複数相の交流電流のそれぞれが流れる複数の相コイル(7)を備え、
 前記キャップ部材(6)は、同相の前記相コイル(7)の複数の前記接合端部(48)を一体的に覆うように形成されている。
 同相の相コイル(7)どうしは、異相の相コイル(7)どうしに比べて電位差が小さい。この構成によれば、同相の相コイル(7)の接合端部(48)をキャップ部材(6)により覆っているため、仮にキャップ部材(6)の内部にボイドが存在していたとしても、短絡等の問題が生じる可能性は低い。

 同相の前記相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)の前記周方向(C)の間隔が、前記周方向(C)の少なくとも一部の領域において、異相の前記相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)の間隔よりも狭い。
 上記のとおり、同相の相コイル(7)どうしは、異相の相コイル(7)どうしに比べて電位差が小さい。この構成によれば、電位差が小さい同相の相コイル(7)どうしの周方向(C)の間隔を狭くし、電位差が大きい異相の相コイル(7)どうしの周方向(C)の間隔を広くしているので、それぞれの電位差に応じて電気的絶縁性を確保するための適切な間隔を空けながら、各相コイル(7)の接合端部(48)を最小限の周方向(C)領域に収めるように配置することができる。従って、ステータ(1)のコイルエンド部を小型化したり、各相コイル(7)の接合端部(48)が配置されない周方向(C)領域を設けてその領域に他の構造を配置したりすることが可能となる。

 上記のように、同相の前記相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)の前記周方向(C)の間隔が、異相の前記相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)の間隔よりも狭い構成において、
 前記コア(3)は、他の部材に取り付けるための取付部(8)を有し、
 前記取付部(8)は、前記コア(3)の軸方向(L)に見て、異相の前記相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の前記接合端部(48)の間に配置されている。
 この構成によれば、異相の相コイル(7)の隣り合う複数の接合端部(48)の間の比較的広い周方向(C)の間隔を有効に利用して、コア(3)を他の部材に取り付けるための取付部(8)を配置することができる。従って、コア(3)に取付部(8)を設けつつ、当該取付部(8)を設けたことによるステータ(1)の大型化を少なく抑えることができる。

 前記キャップ部材(6)は、隣り合う一対の前記接合端部(48)の間に挟まれる部分を有するように形成された凹溝(62)を有する。
 この構成によれば、キャップ部材(6)の表面が凹溝(62)に沿って屈曲する分だけ、隣り合う一対の接合端部(48)の間におけるキャップ部材(6)の表面に沿う沿面距離を大きく確保することができる。従って、仮に一対の接合端部(48)のそれぞれと凹溝(62)との間にボイドが発生したとしても、当該一対の接合端部(48)の間の沿面距離を大きく確保することができる。よって、一対の接合端部(48)の間の電気的絶縁性を適切に確保することができる。すなわち、モールド技術の利用と、形成されるキャップ部材(6)の形状の工夫との組み合わせにより、隣接する接合端部(48)間の電気的絶縁性を容易かつ適切に確保することができる。

 前記凹溝(62)が、一対の前記接合端部(48)の並び方向に見て前記接合端部(48)の全体と重複するように形成されている。
 この構成によれば、一対の接合端部(48)の間を完全に分断するように凹溝(62)が設けられることになり、一対の接合端部(48)の間を繋ぐようなボイドが発生する可能性を低減することができる。また、より大きい深さを有する凹溝(62)の存在によって沿面距離をさらに大きく確保することができる。従って、仮に一対の接合端部(48)のそれぞれと凹溝(62)との間にボイドが発生したとしても、一対の接合端部(48)の間で短絡が生じる可能性をさらに低減することができる。

 前記凹溝(62)に、前記キャップ部材(6)とは別部材で構成された絶縁部材(65)が一体的に保持されている。
 この構成によれば、凹溝(62)に一体的に保持された絶縁部材(65)の存在により、一対の接合端部(48)間がボイドで繋がるような事態を確実性高く回避することができる。よって、隣接する接合端部(48)間の電気的絶縁性を、より一層、容易かつ適切に確保することができる。
 本開示に係る回転電機用ステータは、上述した各効果のうち、少なくとも1つを奏することができれば良い。

Claims (7)

  1.  複数のスロットを有する筒状のコアと、前記コアに装着されるコイルと、を備える回転電機用ステータであって、
     前記コイルは、前記スロット内に整列配置される複数の導体線部を含み、
     前記導体線部のそれぞれが前記スロットの外に突出した端部を有し、
     一対の前記端部が互いに接合されて接合端部を形成し、
     複数の前記接合端部が、前記コアの周方向に沿って整列配置されると共に、前記コアの径方向に沿って放射状に延びるように配置され、
     隣り合う複数の前記接合端部を一体的に覆うように、電気的絶縁性を有する樹脂材料を用いてモールド成形されたキャップ部材が設けられている回転電機用ステータ。
  2.  前記コイルは、互いに位相が異なる複数相の交流電流のそれぞれが流れる複数の相コイルを備え、
     前記キャップ部材は、同相の前記相コイルの複数の前記接合端部を一体的に覆うように形成されている請求項1に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
  3.  同相の前記相コイルの隣り合う複数の前記接合端部の前記周方向の間隔が、前記周方向の少なくとも一部の領域において、異相の前記相コイルの隣り合う複数の前記接合端部の間隔よりも狭い請求項2に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
  4.  前記コアは、他の部材に取り付けるための取付部を有し、
     前記取付部は、前記コアの軸方向に見て、異相の前記相コイルの隣り合う複数の前記接合端部の間に配置されている請求項3に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
  5.  前記キャップ部材は、隣り合う一対の前記接合端部の間に挟まれる部分を有するように形成された凹溝を有する請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
  6.  前記凹溝が、一対の前記接合端部の並び方向に見て前記接合端部の全体と重複するように形成されている請求項5に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
  7.  前記凹溝に、前記キャップ部材とは別部材で構成された絶縁部材が一体的に保持されている請求項5又は6に記載の回転電機用ステータ。
