Abstract
Description
以下、本発明を詳述する。
以下、本発明に係るPVA水溶液に用いられる各成分の詳細を説明する。
本発明の薬剤包装用フィルムは、ポリビニルアルコールを含有する。
上記ポリビニルアルコールは、本発明の薬剤包装用フィルムの主たる構成成分となる。
上記ケン化度が上記下限以上及び上記上限以下であると、薬剤包装用フィルムの耐水性及び薬剤を開放するときの溶解時間の制御がし易くなり、耐水性と溶解時間の制御との双方をバランスよく高めることができる。
上記PVAのケン化度のより好ましい下限は92.0モル%、より好ましい上限は98.0モル%である。
上記ケン化度の調整方法は特に限定されない。ケン化度は、ケン化条件、すなわち加水分解条件により適宜調整可能である。
上記ケン化度分布標準偏差が上記下限以上及び上記上限以下であると、薬剤包装用フィルムの溶解性、薬品耐性がよくなり、薬剤を開放するときの溶解時間及び薬品を包装した際の保存期間の双方をバランスよく高めることができる。
上記PVAのケン化度分布標準偏差のより好ましい下限は0.2モル%、より好ましい上限は0.9モル%である。
なお、上記ケン化度分布標準偏差はPVA中のケン化度バラつきを示す指標であり、例えば、FT-IR等を用いて測定し、算出することができる。
なお、上記粘度はJIS K 6726に準じて測定することができる。
上記変性PVAは、スルホン酸基、ピロリドン環基、アミノ基及びカルボキシル基からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の親水性基で変性されたものであることが好ましい。
なかでも、スルホン酸基、ピロリドン環基が好ましい。上記親水性基には、上述した官能基に加えて、ナトリウム、カリウム等の塩も含む。
なお、上記親水性基で変性された変性PVAとしては、未変性ポリビニルアルコールと上記親水性基を有する他のモノマーとを共重合して得られるもののほか、未変性ポリビニルアルコールに親水性基を付加することによって得られるもの等が含まれる。
上記連結基としては、アミド基、アルキレン基、エステル基、エーテル基等が挙げられる。なかでも、アミド基とアルキレン基の組み合わせが好ましい。
また、上記スルホン酸基は、スルホン酸塩からなるものであることが好ましく、特にスルホン酸ナトリウム基であることが好ましい。
特に、上記変性PVAが、スルホン酸ナトリウム変性ポリビニルアルコールである場合、スルホン酸ナトリウム変性ポリビニルアルコールとしては、下記式(2)で表される構成単位を有することが好ましい。
上記式(4-2)中、R3は炭素数1~10のアルキレン基を表す。
上記親水性基を有する構成単位の含有量のより好ましい下限は0.5モル%、より好ましい上限は8モル%である。
上記ポリビニルアルコールの含有量が上記下限以上であると、薬剤包装用フィルムから可塑剤のブリードアウトがないより一層良好な品質の薬剤包装用フィルムとすることができる。上記ポリビニルアルコールの含有量が上記上限以下であると、薬剤包装用フィルムの強度がより一層高くなり、耐水性に優れたものとすることができる。
本発明の薬剤包装用フィルムは、ポリオキシエチレン構造を有する界面活性剤を含有する。
本発明において、ポリオキシエチレン構造とは、-(CH2-CH2-O)n-で表される構造であって、nの値が2以上である構造を意味する。
上記界面活性剤としては、例えば、アニオン系界面活性剤、ノニオン系界面活性剤が挙げられる。薬剤包装用フィルムのロールからの剥離性が良好となることから、ノニオン系界面活性剤が好ましく用いられる。
上記ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルとしては、ポリオキシエチレンヘキシルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンヘプチルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンオクチルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンノニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンデシルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンオクチルノニルエーテル等が挙げられる。
上記ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテルとしては、ポリオキシエチレンヘキシルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンヘプチルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンオクチルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンノニルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンデシルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンドデシルフェニルエーテル等が挙げられる。
エステルエーテル型ノニオン系界面活性剤としては、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノラウレート、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノパルミエート、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノステアレート、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタンモノオレエート等のポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル等が挙げられる。
アミノエーテル型ノニオン系界面活性剤としては、ポリオキシエチレンラウリルアミノエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンステアリルアミノエーテル等のポリオキシエチレンアルキルアミノエーテル等が挙げられる。
これらの界面活性剤は、単独で用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。
なかでも、剥離性の点でポリオキシエチレンオクチルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンドデシルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンノニルフェニルエーテル等のポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンフェニルエーテルが特に好ましく用いられる。
上記界面活性剤のHLBが上記下限以上、且つ、上記上限以下であると、ロール汚染を抑制するとともに、ヒートシール板からの剥離が容易になる。
上記界面活性剤のHLBは、好ましい下限が12、好ましい上限が14である。
本発明において、オキシエチレン基とは、-CH2-CH2-O-で表される構造を意味し、オキシエチレン基のモル数とは、ポリオキシエチレン構造を有する界面活性剤中に含まれるオキシエチレン基の数nを意味する。なお、オキシエチレン基の数が異なる複数の界面活性剤の混合物を用いる場合、オキシエチレン基のモル数は、オキシエチレン基の数が異なる界面活性剤の分子のそれぞれに含まれるオキシエチレン基の数の平均値を表す。
上記界面滑性剤のオキシエチレン基のモル数が上記下限以上、且つ、上記上限以下であると、ロール汚染を抑制するとともに、ヒートシール板からの剥離が容易になる。
上記界面活性剤のオキシエチレン基のモル数は、好ましい下限が9、好ましい上限が12である。
上記界面活性剤の含有量を上記範囲内とすることにより、成膜装置のダイスやドラム等の金属表面と、成膜したフィルムやフィルム原液との剥離性を向上させることができる。また、ロールから繰り出す際に擦り傷やロール汚染が生じることを抑制することができる。
更に、上記界面活性剤の含有量を上記範囲内とすることにより、薬剤包装用フィルムの耐薬品性を充分なものとすることができ、薬剤を包装して保管した後であっても充分な水溶性や視認性を発揮する薬剤包装用フィルムとすることができる。
上記界面活性剤の含有量の好ましい下限は0.9質量%、より好ましい下限は1.0質量%、好ましい上限は4.5質量%、より好ましい上限は4質量%である。
薬剤包装用フィルムは、高温多湿の地域や寒冷地でも運搬、貯蔵、使用がなされるため、高い引張強度や耐久性が要求される。特に低温での耐衝撃性が重視される。本発明の薬剤包装用フィルムは、可塑剤を含有することで、ガラス転移点を下げることが可能となり、低温での耐久性を向上させることができ、薬剤包装用フィルムとして好適に用いることができる。また、上記可塑剤を含有することで、薬剤包装用フィルムの水に対する溶解性を向上させることもできる。
上記可塑剤のなかでは、水溶性を向上させることができることから、グリセリン、トリメチロールプロパン、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール、プロピレングリコールが好ましく、特に水溶性向上の効果が大きいことからグリセリン、トリメチロールプロパンが特に好ましい。
上記可塑剤含有量のより好ましい下限は3.2質量部、より好ましい上限は13質量部である。
薬剤包装用フィルムを水に溶解した際のpHが上記範囲にあることで、長期間保管時のフィルムの黄変を抑制することができる。
上記pHのより好ましい下限は3、更に好ましい下限は4.5、より好ましい上限は7.8、更に好ましい上限は7.5である。
上記剥離強度が0.15N/15mm未満であると、ヒートシールによって内容物を薬剤包装用フィルムに充填密封した際に、ヒートシール板に薬剤包装用フィルムが付着しにくく、ヒートシール板から容易に剥離することができ、密封容器の成形性を良好なものとすることができる。
上記融点が、上記好ましい下限以上、且つ、上記好ましい上限以下であると、薬剤包装用フィルムに内容物を充填密封した際に、薬剤包装用フィルムを熱劣化させにくく、充填機の作業性を向上させることができ、密封容器の成形性を良好なものとすることができる。
なお、上記融点は、示差走査熱量測定により測定することができる。
本発明の薬剤包装用フィルムの製造方法としては、特に限定されないが、PVA、界面活性剤及び水、更に、必要に応じて用いられる可塑剤や酸性物質等の添加剤を含有するPVA水溶液を支持部材に流延し、乾燥する方法等を用いることができる。具体的には、溶液流延法(キャスト法)、ロールコーティング法、スピンコーティング法、スクリーンコーティング法、ファウンテンコーティング法、ディッピング法及びスプレー法が挙げられる。
上記延伸工程としては、例えば、ロールを用いた延伸、テンターを用いた延伸、巻取装置を用いた延伸、乾燥収縮を利用した延伸、又は、これらを組み合わせた延伸等の方法が挙げられる。
また、上記延伸工程における延伸倍率としては、1.05~3倍が好ましい。また、1.1~2.8倍がより好ましい。
ポリビニルアルコールとして上記式(1)で表される構成単位を有するピロリドン環変性ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1000、ケン化度95.8モル%、ピロリドン環基変性量4モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度10mPa・s)86.5質量部、可塑剤としてグリセリン(和光純薬社製、分子量92)5.0質量部、トリメチロールプロパン(和光純薬社製、分子量134)7.0質量部、界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンオクチルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンNK-810、HLB13.6、オキシエチレン基のモル数10モル)1.5質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。

得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
ポリビニルアルコールとして上記式(2)で表される構成単位を有し、上記式(2)中、R1が2-メチレンプロピレン基であるスルホン酸ナトリウム変性ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1200、ケン化度95.4モル%、スルホン酸基変性量4モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度12.1mPa・s)90.0質量部、可塑剤としてグリセリン(和光純薬社製、分子量92)2.7質量部、トリメチロールプロパン(和光純薬社製、分子量134)2.7質量部、界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンオクチルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンNK-810、HLB13.6、オキシエチレン基のモル数10モル)4.6質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。
得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
ポリビニルアルコールとして上記式(2)で表される構成単位を有し、上記式(2)中、R1が2-メチレンプロピレン基であるスルホン酸ナトリウム変性ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1200、ケン化度95.4モル%、スルホン酸基変性量4モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度12.1mPa・s)91.0質量部、可塑剤としてトリメチロールプロパン(和光純薬社製、分子量134)4.0質量部、ポリエチレングリコール600(和光純薬社製、平均分子量600)2.0質量部、界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンノニルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンN-510、HLB13.3、オキシエチレン基のモル数10モル)3.0質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。
得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。

得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
ポリビニルアルコールとして上記式(1)で表される構成単位を有するピロリドン環変性ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1000、ケン化度95.8モル%、ピロリドン環基変性量4モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度10mPa・s)91.0質量部、可塑剤としてトリメチロールプロパン(和光純薬社製、分子量134)4.0質量部、酸性物質としてクエン酸(和光純薬社製)3.8質量部、界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンオクチルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンNK-810、HLB13.6、オキシエチレン基のモル数10モル)1.2質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。
得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンドデシルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンDP-12、HLB13.6、オキシエチレン基のモル数12モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンドデシルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンDP-5.3、HLB9.4、オキシエチレン基のモル数5.3モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンPH-5、HLB14.0、オキシエチレン基のモル数5モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。

得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
ポリビニルアルコールとして上記式(2)で表される構成単位を有し、上記式(2)中、R1が2-メチレンプロピレン基であるスルホン酸ナトリウム変性ポリビニルアルコール(重合度1200、ケン化度95.4モル%、スルホン酸基変性量4モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度12.1mPa・s)85.8質量部、可塑剤としてグリセリン(和光純薬社製、分子量92)4.0質量部、トリメチロールプロパン(和光純薬社製、分子量134)3.0質量部、ポリエチレングリコール600(和光純薬社製、平均分子量600)2.0質量部、界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンドデシルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンDP-9、HLB12、オキシエチレン基のモル数9モル)5.2質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。
得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
ポリビニルアルコールとして無変性のポリビニルアルコール(重合度1300、ケン化度88.0モル%、4質量%水溶液粘度14mPa・s)96.4質量部、可塑剤としてグリセリン(和光純薬社製、分子量92)3.3質量部、界面活性剤として、ラウリン酸ジエタノールアミド(和光純薬社製、HLB5.8、オキシエチレン基のモル数0モル)0.3質量部を水に溶解させて15質量%の水溶液を作製した。
得られたPVA水溶液を用いた以外は実施例1と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンノニルフェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンN-504、HLB8.9、オキシエチレン基のモル数4モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンスチレン化フェニルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンKTSP-16、HLB12.7、オキシエチレン基のモル数16モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンベンジルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンBA-2、HLB9.0、オキシエチレン基のモル数2モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレンβーナフチルエーテル(青木油脂社製、ブラウノンBN-10、HLB15.0、オキシエチレン基のモル数10モル)を用いた以外は、実施例4と同様にして支持部材上に薬剤包装用フィルム(厚さ50μm)が積層された巻回体を得た。
実施例及び比較例で得られた薬剤包装用フィルムについて以下の評価を行った。結果を表2に示した。
得られた薬剤包装用フィルム7gを室温の脱イオン水93g中に入れ、攪拌下で約90℃に加熱してフィルムを完全に溶解させた後、得られた水溶液を20℃に冷却し、pHメーター(METTLER TOLEDO社製「MP230」)を用いてその水溶液のpHを測定した。
測色色差計(日本電色工業株式会社製 Model「ZE2000」)を用いて得られた薬剤包装用フィルムの初期YI値を測定した。
また、得られた薬剤包装用フィルムを80℃の環境下に3日間放置し、更に、23℃×50%RHの環境下にて24時間放置した後、薬剤包装用フィルムの経時YI値を測定した。黄変度(ΔYI)を以下の式とし、以下の基準で評価した。
黄変度(ΔYI)=経時YI値-初期YI値
○:ΔYIが0.8未満
×:ΔYIが0.8以上
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムの50mm幅の巻回体をJIS Z0237に準拠し、巻き戻し速度20m/分の速度で50m巻き戻した際の薬剤包装用フィルム表面の擦り傷の有無をレーザー顕微鏡(キーエンス社製 VK-8710)にて観察し、以下の基準で評価した。
○:擦り傷なし
×:擦り傷あり
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムの50mm幅の巻回体をJIS Z0237に準拠し、巻き戻し速度20m/分の速度で50m巻き戻した際の金属ロールの汚染の程度を目視にて確認し、以下の基準で評価した。なお、比較例2については、薬剤包装用フィルム表面への界面活性剤がブリードして金属ロールに薬剤包装用フィルムが張り付いたため、測定することができなかった。
○○:ロール汚染が確認されなかった。
○:僅かにロール汚染が確認された。
×:ロールが光るほどの汚染が確認され、又は、測定できなかった。
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムを用いて、袋(10cm×15cm)を作製した。この袋に、次亜塩素酸カルシウム35gを入れた後、熱シールして密封することにより、内部に薬剤を有する包装体を得た。得られた包装体をアルミ袋中に密封して、80℃の環境下に三日間放置した。その後、23℃×50%RHの環境下にて24時間放置した後の薬剤包装用フィルムのみの臭気官能テストを行うことにより薬剤の漏出評価を行い、以下の基準で評価した。
○:臭気がなかった。
△:わずかに臭気が感じられた。
×:臭気が激しかった。
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムを2つに折り、端部を熱シールすることで、一端が開放された5cm×4cmの袋を作製した。この袋にトリクロロイソシアヌル酸の粉末25gを加えて、開放端を熱シールすることにより、内部にトリクロロイソシアヌル酸の粉末を有する包装体を得た。得られた包装体を40℃×90%RHの環境下にて24時間放置し、充分にフィルムを吸水させたのち、PTFE内筒密閉容器(三商社製、SR-50用金属バルブ付)に入れ、袋から水や可塑剤が飛散しないように密封した。このサンプルを温度70℃のオーブンに1週間放置した後、包装体を開放して内包物を取り除き、耐薬品性評価用フィルムを作製し、耐薬水溶性、耐薬視認性を評価した。
得られた評価用フィルムを30mm×30mmのサイズにカットして秤量後、治具に固定し、500mlビーカーに水(500ml)を入れてスターラーにより撹拌(400mlの印に渦巻の下が到達)しながら、水温を23℃に保ちつつ、治具に固定した評価用フィルムを水中に浸漬した。そのまま60分放置し、得られた水溶液をあらかじめ重量を測定した目開き300μmのメッシュでろ過し、未溶解のゲル成分を分離した。メッシュを80℃で3時間乾燥させ、重量変化から溶解度を算出し、耐薬水溶性を以下の基準で評価した。なお、実施例及び比較例で得られた薬剤包装用フィルムの溶解度はいずれも100%であった。
○:溶解度90%以上
×:溶解度90%未満
測色色差計(日本電色工業株式会社製 Model「ZE2000」)を用いて、上記「(2)黄変度(ΔYI)の測定」と同様にして、得られた評価用のサンプルの経時YI値を測定し、黄変度(ΔYI)を以下の基準で評価した。
○:ΔYIが5未満
×:ΔYIが5以上
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムを23℃×50%RHの環境下にて24時間放置した。その後、薬剤包装用フィルムを15mm×15cmのサイズにカットし、ヒートシール板(SUS304製、厚み0.05mm、15mm×10cm)に貼り合わせ、ヒートシール機(テスター産業社製、TP-701S)を用いて、温度150℃、プレス圧2.8kgf/cm2の条件で1秒間熱圧着した。
熱圧着後、23℃×50%RHの環境下にて24時間放置した後、剥離速度200mm/分の条件で、薬剤包装用フィルムの180度ピール試験を行い、SUS板からの剥離強度を測定した。SUS板からの剥離性を以下の基準で評価した。
○○:0.05N/15mm未満
○:0.05N/15mm以上、0.15N/15mm未満
×:0.15N/15mm以上
得られた薬剤包装用フィルムの融点を示差走査熱量計(セイコーインスツル社製、EXSTAR-6000)を用いて昇温10℃/分で測定した。
Claims (9)
- ポリビニルアルコール及び界面活性剤を含有する薬剤包装用フィルムであって、
前記薬剤包装用フィルム100質量%に対して、前記界面活性剤を0.9~5質量%含有し、
前記界面活性剤は、ポリオキシエチレン構造を有し、オキシエチレン基のモル数が5~13モル、かつ、HLBが9~14.5である
ことを特徴とする薬剤包装用フィルム。 - 水に7質量%の濃度で溶解させた際の20℃におけるpHが2.0~8.0であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- 150℃の条件でヒートシールした際のSUS板との間の剥離強度が0.15N/15mm未満であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- 界面活性剤は、ノニオン系界面活性剤であることを特徴とする請求項1、2又は3記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- ノニオン系界面活性剤は、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテルであることを特徴とする請求項4記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- 更に、ポリビニルアルコール100質量部に対して、可塑剤を3~15質量部含有することを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4又は5記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- ポリビニルアルコールは、ケン化度が90モル%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4、5又は6記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- ポリビニルアルコールは、スルホン酸基、ピロリドン環基、アミノ基及びカルボキシル基からなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の親水性基で変性されていることを特徴とする請求項1、2、3、4、5、6又は7記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
- 親水性基を有する構成単位の含有量が0.2~10モル%であることを特徴とする請求項8記載の薬剤包装用フィルム。
