Claims (6)
- 主軸に装着した工具と、テーブルに取り付けたワークとを相対移動させてワークを加工する工作機械において、
重力方向である上下方向の移動を案内する少なくとも3本の案内を有したコラムと、
前方で主軸頭を支持し、前記案内上を移動する移動体と、
を具備し、
前記案内が、左右一対の第1の案内と、前記一対の第1の案内の内側でかつ後方に設けられている第2の案内とを具備することを特徴とした工作機械。 - 前記第1の案内が、前記コラムの前面に取り付けられ上下方向にのびる一対の案内レールを有し、前記第2の案内が前記コラムに形成された少なくとも1つの案内面を有しており、
前記移動体が前記一対の案内レールに係合するキャリッジと、前記案内面に沿って摺動する摺動面とを有しており、
前記キャリッジが転動体を備えている請求項1に記載の工作機械。 - 前記移動体を上下方向に駆動する送り装置を更に具備しており、
該送り装置が、前記コラムに取り付けられ上下方向に延びる一対のボールねじと、
前記ボールねじの各々の一端に連結されたサーボモータと、
前記移動体に取り付けられ前記ボールねじに係合するナットとを具備する請求項1に記載の工作機械。 - 前記ボールねじが、前記第1の案内と前記第2の案内の間を結ぶ直線に沿って概ね中央部に配置されている請求項3に記載の工作機械。
