Claims (2)
- ベッド11に前後動自在に支持されているテーブル12と、テーブル移動経路を挟んでその両側にそれぞれ立てられている左右一対のコラム13と、両コラム13に上下動自在に支持されているクロスレール14と、クロスレール14に左右動自在に支持されている主軸頭15とを備えている工作機械において、
各コラム13が、略方形状横断面を有しかつその横断面を線対称に区画するコラム前後方向中心線Lを有しており、両コラム13は、それぞれのコラム前後方向中心線Lを一致させた状態で対向させられており、両コラム13の対向面およびこれの前後両縁に続く前後両側面の一部が、上下方向にのびたガイドレール35を形成しており、クロスレール14は、平面より見て、クロスレール前後方向中心線Nによって、前後線対称に区画されており、クロスレール14の左右両端面に、左右対応する側のガイドレール35にはめ合わされた横断面方形状ガイド溝66がそれぞれ形成されており、各ガイド溝66の横断面は、クロスレール前後方向中心線Nに関して、線対称となされていることを特徴とする工作機械。 - 各ガイド溝66内を、クロスレール駆動用垂直ねじ棒37がコラム前後方向中心線Lと交差するようにのびており、ねじ棒37にねじはめられた雌ねじ体67がクロスレール14と一体的に設けられており、各コラム13の対向面に、ねじ棒37および雌ねじ体67の逃げとなる条溝36が形成されている請求項1に記載の工作機械。
