Abstract
Description
ダ本体からリールカセットを取り外す必要が生じたときに、作業者が簡単にリールカセットを取り外すことができるようにすることである。
まず、テープフィーダ11の構成を説明する。
よりも僅かに大きい寸法に形成されている。
非接触型センサ)が設けられている。各スプロケット駆動機構部45には、それぞれ噛合位置を検出するための位置検出ドッグ64が設けられ、いずれかのスプロケット駆動機構部45のスプロケット42の歯が部品供給テープ12のスプロケット孔に噛み合ってスプロケット42が噛合位置まで上昇した状態となると、当該スプロケット駆動機構部45の位置検出ドッグ64が噛合検出センサ63で検出されて検出信号が出力されるように構成されている。
トIDの他に、部品供給テープ12の部品情報等を記憶しても良い。
作業者が操作パネル15のリールカセット装着作業開始キーを操作すると、フィーダ本体13の制御装置によって次のように制御される。まず、スプロケット駆動機構部上下動用のモータ56を作動させて、図10に示すように、スプロケット駆動機構部45をスプリング55に抗して引き下げてスプロケット42を退避位置まで下降させて、スプロケット42と部品供給テープ12のスプロケット孔との噛み合いを解除すると共に、クランプ部材91をリールカセット21から下方に退避させてリールカセット21のクランプ状態を解除する。
ト孔に噛み合った状態になると、図9に示すように、クランプ部材91の上端面がリールカセット21の下面に当接して摩擦力で該リールカセット21をクランプした状態となる。
外そうとすることを未然に防止できる。
Claims (4)
- テープリールから引き出された部品供給テープを部品吸着位置へガイドするリールカセットをフィーダ本体に着脱可能に装着するように構成されたテープフィーダにおいて、
前記部品供給テープのスプロケット孔にスプロケットの歯を噛み合わせながら該スプロケットを回転させることで該部品供給テープを部品吸着位置へ送るスプロケット駆動機構部と、
前記スプロケット駆動機構部を前記スプロケットの歯が前記部品供給テープのスプロケット孔に噛み合った状態となる噛合位置と該スプロケットの歯が該部品供給テープのスプロケット孔よりも下方に位置する退避位置との間を上下動させるアクチュエータと、
前記スプロケット駆動機構部と一体的に上下動して該スプロケット駆動機構部が前記噛合位置へ上昇したときに前記リールカセットをクランプするクランプ部材と、
前記フィーダ本体から前記リールカセットを取り外す必要が生じたときにそれを検出して前記アクチュエータを作動させて前記スプロケット駆動機構部を前記退避位置へ下降させることで前記クランプ部材による前記リールカセットのクランプ状態を解除する自動クランプ解除を行う自動クランプ解除手段と
を備えていることを特徴とするテープフィーダ。 - 前記自動クランプ解除手段は、前記部品供給テープの部品切れ時、及び/又は、供給する部品に起因する異常発生時に、前記フィーダ本体から前記リールカセットを取り外す必要が生じたと判断して前記自動クランプ解除を行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のテープフィーダ。
- 前記フィーダ本体には、前記スプロケット駆動機構部、前記アクチュエータ及び前記クランプ部材がそれぞれ複数個ずつ設けられ、
前記フィーダ本体に対して複数のリールカセットがそれぞれ独立して着脱可能に装着され、各スプロケット駆動機構部が前記噛合位置に上昇したときに、各リールカセットの部品供給テープのスプロケット孔に各スプロケット駆動機構部のスプロケットの歯が噛み合わされ、且つ各クランプ部材で各リールカセットがクランプされるように構成され、
前記自動クランプ解除手段は、前記リールカセット毎に前記フィーダ本体から取り外す必要が生じたか否かを判定して、前記フィーダ本体から取り外す必要が生じたリールカセットについてのみ前記自動クランプ解除を行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のテープフィーダ。 - 前記リールカセット毎にクランプ解除状態とクランプ状態のいずれであるかを表示する表示部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のテープフィーダ。
