Definitions
- the present invention relates to an inkjet ink, an ink set, and a printed matter.
- the ink jet recording method is a recording method in which characters and images are obtained by ejecting ink droplets directly from a very fine nozzle onto a recording member and attaching them. According to this method, there is an advantage that not only the noise of the apparatus to be used is small and the operability is good, but also colorization is easy and plain paper can be used as a recording member. Widely used as an output device in offices and homes. On the other hand, in industrial applications, use as an output machine for digital printing is expected due to improvements in inkjet technology, and water-based pigment inks are required from the viewpoints of the environment and the durability of printed materials.
- aqueous pigment ink since the pigment is insoluble in water, in order to keep the pigment dispersed in the ink, the dispersion is stabilized by using a dispersion resin.
- a dispersion resin for example, refer to Patent Documents 1, 2, and 3.
- a high-boiling water-soluble solvent that is positioned as a humectant is included for the purpose of preventing the nozzle from drying.
- the drying mechanism of water-based ink is classified into penetration and evaporation into the substrate after the ink has landed on the substrate, but the contribution of penetration is very large, such as coated paper, art paper, vinyl chloride sheet, etc.
- the base material having a high hydrophobicity has a slow ink permeation, and therefore, in the case of multicolor printing, there are problems that the inks are mixed to form a clean image and the printing speed cannot be increased. For this reason, it is necessary to improve the drying property by adding a high-boiling water-soluble solvent having high permeability to the ink.
- the addition of a penetrating solvent into the ink may change the dissolution state of the dispersion resin that stabilizes the pigment dispersion state, and may significantly reduce the pigment dispersibility and storage stability. That is, a combination of a solvent having high penetrability and a pigment dispersion resin that does not deteriorate pigment dispersibility even when it exists is desired.
- Patent Document 4 discloses C.I. I. Although there is a description of a water-based ink in which Pigment Yellow 150 is dispersed with a surfactant, dispersion with a surfactant is expected to lower the dispersion stability when mixed with a highly permeable solvent. Therefore, it was impossible to add a permeable solvent, and it was practically impossible to print on a highly hydrophobic substrate such as coated paper or vinyl chloride sheet.

- the copolymer is obtained by copolymerizing acrylic acid as the monomer C, and it is preferable that the constituent ratio of the monomer having an anionic functional group in the copolymer is represented by the acid value as follows. - the weight average molecular weight and acid value of the copolymer and polymer in this invention can be measured by a conventional method.
- the ink can stabilize the dispersion of pigment particles by ionizing acrylic acid for forming a copolymer to be contained or a monomer having an acidic functional group introduced separately. For this reason, it is preferable that the whole ink is adjusted to neutrality or alkalinity. However, if the alkalinity is too strong, it may cause corrosion of various members used in the ink jet recording apparatus. Therefore, the pH is preferably in the range of 7 to 10. Examples of the pH adjuster used at this time include the following.
- inorganic alkaline agents such as ammonia water, various organic amines such as dimethylaminoethanol, diethanolamine, and triethanolamine, alkali metal hydroxides such as sodium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide, organic acids and mineral acids Etc.

- the copolymer is obtained by solution polymerization of ordinary acrylic. However, at this time, it is dissolved in a solvent, and there are the following methods for dispersing or dissolving in an aqueous medium.
- a first method polymerization is performed in a solvent azeotroped with water, and then water and an amine are added to neutralize and make it aqueous. Furthermore, the solvent is azeotroped with water, and the solvent is completely water only.
- polymerization is performed using a water-soluble solvent finally contained in the ink as a synthetic solvent. Thereafter, water and amine are added to neutralize to make it aqueous, but the solvent is not removed, and the premixing and dispersion treatment described below is performed as it is.

- the reason why the ink according to this embodiment is excellent in printability and excellent in ejection stability and storage stability from an inkjet nozzle will be described.
- the greatest reason for excellent printability is permeability. Ink-jet inks cannot dispense ink when the nozzles are dried, so a humectant, that is, a high-boiling water-soluble solvent is essential. However, when a high-boiling water-soluble solvent is contained, the drying is naturally slow. If printing on a substrate dedicated to inkjet, it may still be possible to obtain a sufficiently excellent printability, but it is possible to obtain high-quality paper and coated paper (approx. 20 g / m 2 on one side) as a general printing substrate.
- these solvents have a big problem of reducing the dispersibility of the pigment.
- these solvents are more hydrophobic than glycerin and diethylene glycol, and the hydrophobicity of the solvent in the ink is high, so the dispersion resin adsorbed on the pigment is easy to desorb to the solvent. It is considered that the dispersibility is lowered.
- the viscosity tends to be greatly increased or separated.
- a decrease in dispersibility can be suppressed by increasing the hydrophobicity of the dispersion resin. That is, by using the above-mentioned highly permeable solvent, although it is water-based, the hydrophobicity of the solvent in the ink is increased and the dispersion resin is easily dissolved, so that the dispersion resin is changed from the pigment to the solvent. It is considered that it is easy to desorb and dispersibility is lowered. At this time, by increasing the hydrophobicity of the dispersion resin, the solubility in the solvent is lowered, and the dispersion resin is difficult to desorb from the pigment to the solvent.
- the hydrophobicity of the dispersion resin is increased, and a decrease in dispersibility can be suppressed.
- the affinity of the dispersion resin to the pigment the adsorption of the dispersion resin to the pigment can be maintained. That is, if the dispersion resin is only highly hydrophobic, desorption to the solvent can be suppressed, but that alone is not sufficient, and it is considered that adsorption to the pigment can be maintained by ensuring affinity for the pigment. .
- (meth) acrylic acid is used for the dispersion resin. It is considered that the dispersion resin adsorbed on the pigment has (meth) acrylic acid in an ionized state, and charge repulsion occurs between the pigments in the aqueous solvent so that the dispersibility is maintained. Because of these, by using a highly penetrating solvent, excellent printability and dischargeability from the nozzle, and by using a dispersion resin that does not decrease dispersibility even when these solvents are used, storage stability is improved. Excellent ink can be obtained.
- the copolymer described above is preferably contained in the range of 0.1 wt% to 8 wt% with respect to the total weight of the ink.
- natural resins such as rosin, shellac and starch, and synthetic resins other than the above-described copolymers can be preferably used as necessary.
- the natural resin or the synthetic resin is preferably contained in an amount that does not exceed the amount of the copolymer added.
- the pigment is preferably contained in the total weight of the ink in a weight ratio of 0.1% by weight to 20% by weight, more preferably 0.1% by weight to 12% by weight. .
- the pigment a pigment specified in the following water affinity test of the pigment can be used.

Permanent Carmin 3810 (manufactured by Sanyo Dye Co., Ltd.) is particularly preferred from the viewpoint of color development.
- the pigment hydrophobic it may be treated with a modified rosin.

- C.I. I. Pigment Red 122 can be used.
- C. I. Pigment Red122 is sufficiently (about 50 times) added with 1.00% by weight of pigment to water and left to stand for 1 hour, after which the aqueous layer is collected and turbidimeter (NDH2000, Nippon Denshoku Industries Co., Ltd.). C. having a hydrophilic surface. I. Pigment Red122. Such C.I. I.
- the dispersion of Pigment Red 122 is a pigment that is particularly susceptible to desorption of the dispersion resin to the solvent as described above, it is a very important factor to introduce a long hydrophobic alkyl group into the dispersion resin.
- long-chain alkyl groups the effect of C 12 to C 24 , particularly C 18 to C 24 is high.

- I. Pigment Red122 is highly effective, but has a hydrophobic surface.
- I. Some of Pigment Red 122 are less effective. The reason is not clear, but it may be because the hydrophobic interaction is too strong.

- aqueous resin fine particles As fixing resins for water-based inks, water-soluble resins and resin fine particles are roughly classified. However, resin fine particles generally have a higher molecular weight than water-soluble resins and can realize high resistance. Further, the resin fine particles can lower the viscosity of the ink, and a larger amount of resin can be blended in the ink. Therefore, it can be said that the resin fine particles are suitable for increasing the resistance of the inkjet ink. It is effective to perform mixing. That is, premixing may be performed by adding a pigment to an aqueous medium in which at least a copolymer and water are mixed. Such a premixing operation is preferable because it improves wettability of the pigment surface and promotes adsorption of the dispersant to the pigment surface.

Abstract
Description

発色性の面から特に好ましくはC.I.PigmentRed269等が挙げられる。
C.I.Pigment Red 5、7、9、12、31、48、49、52、53、57、97、112、122、147、149、150、168、177、178、179、202、206、207、209、238、242、254、255、269、C.I.Pigment Violet 19、23、29、30、37、40、50等が挙げられる。
