Abstract

L'invention concerne un nouveau type de tôle d'acier préenduite exempte de chromate, qui présente une excellente résistance à la corrosion de rouille de surfaces d'extrémité et peut être utilisée sans engendrer de problèmes de rouille dégradant l'aspect de la tôle, même dans un environnement extérieur où cette tôle est exposée à l'eau de pluie et analogue. Ladite tôle d'acier préenduite exempte de chromate comporte une couche de traitement de conversion chimique exempte de chromate sur les deux surfaces d'une tôle d'acier plaquée au zinc, et un ou plusieurs films de revêtement formés sur les couches de traitement de conversion chimique exemptes de chromate. Au moins le film de revêtement le plus extérieur des films de revêtement formés sur la surface arrière de la tôle d'acier préenduite comprend un tungstate ou un silicate qui présente une capacité élevée de retenue de surfaces d'extrémité.
