Abstract
Description
本発明においてウコン抽出物とは、秋ウコンと通称される学名Curcuma longaの根茎の抽出物を指す。
本発明においてガジュツ抽出物とは、紫ウコンと通称される学名Curcuma zedoariaの根茎の抽出物を指す。
本発明の組成物は少なくとも上記のウコン抽出物とガジュツ抽出物を含有するが、他の成分を更に含んでいても構わない。他の成分は飲食品、医薬品などの最終的な形態において許容される成分であって、経口摂取可能な成分である限り特に限定されない。
本発明の組成物は、アルコール摂取後の起床時のいわゆる二日酔い症状の軽減作用を有する飲食品組成物又は医薬品組成物として使用することができる。
試験には飲料1~3を用いた。
試験対象者は、アルコール飲料を飲むことが出来る男性から選抜した。アルコール飲料が飲めない人(自己申告)、通院中の人、服薬中の人、腎臓・肝臓疾患に疾病のある人、各種過敏症の人は除外した。
各試験飲料について以下の手順により二日酔い軽減効果を確認した。
試験前日のアルコール摂取
前後1日は、他の臨床試験と重ならないようにする。
上記の試験手順を図1に模式的に示す。
各試験対象者に対し、はじめに飲料3を試験飲料として摂取する上記試験を行い、二日酔い症状が認められた場合に、順次飲料1~2について試験を行った。各試験は、二日酔い状態が回復する3日間以上の間隔を空けて行った。
アンケートでは、各試験対象者に、吐き気、ムカつき、胸焼け、頭痛、頭重感、の5項目についてVAS法による自己評価結果を記入させた。
各飲料を摂取した試験での個々の評価項目について、試験対象者毎に、起床直後のVAS数値の、摂取直前(試験前)のVAS数値との差(「起床直後のVASの数値」-「摂取直前のVASの数値」。以下「VAS数値差」という)を求めた。

- ウコン(Curcuma longa)抽出物が、ウコン(Curcuma longa)の有機溶媒による抽出物を含むものである、請求項1又は2記載の組成物。
- ガジュツ(Curcuma zedoaria)抽出物が、ガジュツ(Curcuma zedoaria)の親水性有機溶媒と水との混合溶媒による抽出物を含むものである、請求項1~3の何れか1項記載の組成物。
- 飲食品又は医薬品である、請求項1~4の何れか1項記載の組成物。
- 液状組成物である、請求項5記載の組成物。
- ウコン(Curcuma longa)抽出物と、ガジュツ(Curcuma zedoaria)抽出物とを有効成分として含有する、二日酔いの症状の軽減剤。
- 二日酔いの症状が胸焼け又は頭重感である、請求項7記載の軽減剤。
- 経口摂取される二日酔いの症状の軽減剤であって、一回の経口摂取量当たり、クルクミンを30mg以上含有する量のウコン(Curcuma longa)抽出物を含有する、請求項7又は8記載の軽減剤。
- ウコン(Curcuma longa)抽出物が、ウコン(Curcuma longa)の有機溶媒による抽出物を含むものである、請求項7~9の何れか1項記載の軽減剤。
- ガジュツ(Curcuma zedoaria)抽出物が、ガジュツ(Curcuma zedoaria)の親水性有機溶媒と水との混合溶媒による抽出物を含むものである、請求項7~10の何れか1項記載の軽減剤。
