Abstract
Description
このようなパンツ型吸収性物品を連続生産する際には、外装体の帯状原反にレッグ開口部形成用の貫通孔や切り欠きを形成し、不要な部分をトリムとして除去するのが一般的である。
また、従来のパンツ型吸収性物品として、特許文献2には、腹側外装シートと背側外装シートとから形成された筒状の胴回り部と吸収性本体とを備え、背側外装シートが背側本体部とその下側に延出する背側延出部とを有し、該背側延出部の両側である臀部カバー部に設けられた第2弾性伸縮部材の伸張率を、背側本体部の中間部および下端部に設けられた第1弾性伸縮部材の伸張率よりも高くしたパンツ型紙おむつが記載されている。
また、特許文献7には、外装体を構成する2枚のシート間が接合されたエンボス接合部を散点状に有し、そのエンボス接合部間を通るように弾性部材を配した外装体を有するパンツ型物品が記載されており、その外装体における、レッグ開口部の周縁部を形成する円弧状の縁部に、前記エンボス接合部とは別に該弾性部材の端部が固定された弾性部材端固定点を設けることが記載されている。
特許文献1のプルオン衣類は、後ろベルト部分の縦方向の長さが、前ベルト部分(腹側外装体)の同長さより長いことによって、着用者の臀部の被覆性が高められている。しかし、特許文献1のプルオン衣類においても、ウエスト開口部及び/又はレッグ開口部の締め付け力を高めなければ、ずれ落ち易くなるという問題があった。
特許文献2のパンツ型紙おむつは、背側外装シートの背側延出部に配置する弾性伸縮部材の伸張率を工夫することで、該背側延出部における膨らみや捲れを防止している。また、腹側外装シートにも、筒状の胴回り部を形成する腹側本体部より下側に延出する腹側延出部を有していてもよいことが開示されている。しかし、特許文献2のパンツ型紙おむつの延出部においては、股間側に近づくにつれて外装シートの幅が狭められており、発生するトリムを完全に不要とすることはできていない。
特許文献1のプルオン衣類は、後ろベルト部分の縦方向の長さが、前ベルト部分(腹側外装体)の同長さより長いことによって、着用者の臀部の被覆性が高められている。しかし、特許文献1のプルオン衣類においても、特に着用者の前側から見た外観は好ましいものではなかった。
特許文献3も、外装体が腹側外装体と背側外装体とに分割されたおむつ等の外観の改善を何ら示唆するものではない。
特許文献4に記載の使い捨ておむつは、外装体が、腹側外装体と背側外装体とに分割されたパンツ型吸収性物品ではなく、また、股下部付近の外観やフィット性を改善するものでもない。
また、外装体が、着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体と着用者の背側に配される背側外装体とに分割されたパンツ型吸収性物品は、外装体の帯状原反からのトリムの除去を不要としたり、除去すべきトリムの小型化等を図ることができるが、従来のもの、例えば特許文献1に記載のプルオン衣類は、ムレ防止性の観点から改善の余地があった。
本発明の第1実施形態(第1発明の一実施形態)であるパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1(以下、おむつ1ともいう)は、図1(a)~図1(c)及び図2に示すように、着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体2Aと、着用者の背側に配される背側外装体2Bと、腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bに架け渡すように固定された吸収性本体3とを具備し、腹側外装体2Aの側縁部2a,2aと背側外装体2Bの側縁部2b,2bとが接合されて一対のサイドシール部4,4が形成されている。
また、腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bは、それぞれ、吸収性物品縦方向の長さLa,Lbが、サイドシール部4の長さL4より長く、それぞれ、該サイドシール部4より下方に延出する延出部分21a,21bを有している。また、腹側外装体2Aの前記延出部分21aにおける、吸収性本体3の両側縁それぞれより外方に位置する部分が、吸収性物品の横方向(Y方向)に伸縮性を有している。ここで、吸収性物品の横方向に伸縮性を有するとは、横方向(Y方向)のみに伸縮性を有する場合に限られず、横方向(Y方向)及び縦方向(X方向)に伸縮性を有していても良い。また、平面内の全方向に伸縮するものであっても良い。
おむつ1は、図1(a)~図1(c)及び図2に示すように、着用時に、着用者の腹側に配される腹側部Aと、着用者の背側に配される背側部Bと、腹側部Aと背側部Bとの間に位置し、着用者の股間部に配される股下部Cを有している。おむつ(吸収性物品)1の縦方向は、おむつ1の展開且つ伸張状態(図2参照)において、腹側部Aから股下部Cを経て背側部Bに亘る方向又はその逆方向(図2中X方向)であり、おむつ(吸収性物品)1の横方向は、その縦方向に直交する方向(図2中Y方向)である。
吸収性本体3の長手方向の両側部には、液抵抗性ないし撥水性で且つ通気性の素材から構成された側方カフス34,34が形成されている。各側方カフス34の自由端の近傍には、側方カフス弾性部材35が伸長状態で配されている。おむつ1を着用させる際には、側方カフス弾性部材35が収縮することにより側方カフス34が起立し、吸収性本体3から幅方向外方への液の流出が阻止される。表面シート31、裏面シート32及び吸収性コア33としては、それぞれ、この種の吸収性物品に従来用いられているものと同様のものを用いることができる。吸収性本体3の外側には不織布やフィルム等の外装シートが配されている。外装シートは裏面シート32と一体化されていてもよい。
そして、腹側外装体2Aの側縁部2aの一部2a’と、背側外装体2Bの側縁部2bの一部2b’とが接合されていることによって、おむつ1には、サイドシール部4,4、ウエスト開口部5及び一対のレッグ開口部6,6が形成されている。この接合には、例えばヒートシール、高周波シール、超音波シール、接着剤等が用いられる。図1(a)~図1(c)には、ウエスト開口部5に幼児の胴部7a、レッグ開口部6,6に幼児の脚部7b,7bが挿通された状態が示されている。
また、弾性フィラメントを不織布間に固定した後、互いに噛み合う歯溝を有する一対の押し型間に噛み込ませて伸縮性を付与した伸縮シート等の伸縮シートを伸長状態下に非伸長性シートと接合し、両シートからなる腹側外装体や背側外装体を得た場合は、該伸縮シートが非伸長性シートにより延びどまるまで伸長させた状態における形状が、横長長方形状であることが好ましい。
ウエスト伸縮部G1は、おむつ1の縦方向(X方向)において、吸収性本体3の長手方向の端部3a,3bそれぞれより外方に形成されており、延出部分伸縮部G3は、腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21a及び背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bに形成されており、胴回り伸縮部G2は、腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bのそれぞれにおいて、X方向におけるウエスト伸縮部G1と延出部分伸縮部G3との間に形成されている。胴回り伸縮部G2及び延出部分伸縮部G3は、おむつ1の横方向(Y方向)における、少なくとも、吸収性本体3の長手方向の両側縁それぞれより外方に位置する部分において伸縮性を発現する。なお、図3には、吸収性本体3が配置される位置を2点鎖線で示してある。
腹側外装体2Aの胴回り伸縮部G2及び延出部分伸縮部G3は、何れも、腹側外装体2Aの一方の側縁部に、外層シート22と内層シート23との間が接着剤を介して接合された端部固定部27を有しており、また、吸収性本体3の側縁3cの位置の近傍に、外層シート22と内層シート23との間が接着剤を介して接合された吸収性本体側固定部28を有している。胴回り伸縮部G2及び延出部分伸縮部G3に配された弾性部材24は、端部固定部27と吸収性本体側固定部28のそれぞれにおいてシート22,23間に固定されている一方、端部固定部27と吸収性本体側固定部28との間においては、シート22,23の何れにも固定されていない。背側外装体2Bにおける、胴回り伸縮部G2及び延出部分伸縮部G3についても同様である。
また、吸収性本体側固定部28を、吸収性本体3の側縁3cよりおむつ横方向の外方に形成することもできる。
また、延出部分伸縮部G3の伸縮応力が、着用時に、身体を締め付けるウエスト伸縮部G1や胴回り伸縮部G2の伸縮応力を更に強めるように機能し、身体へのフィット性が高まる。
そのため、おむつ1によれば、ウエスト開口部5やレッグ開口部6の締め付け力を過度に高めたりすることなく、優れたずれ落ち防止性が得られる。
また、各弾性部材24は、接合部26では固定されておらず、各弾性部材24は、接合部26で拘束されずに、その長手方向の広範囲で自由に伸縮可能である。また、おむつ1の縦方向(X方向)に隣接する接合部26,26間でおむつ縦方向に移動可能である。そのため、おむつ1の装着後の排尿後に、尿の吸収により重量が増した吸収性本体が垂れ下がった場合に、弾性部材24がやや斜めに傾斜した状態となって、ウエスト方向への引き上げ力を発揮することができる。弾性部材24が接合部26,26間でおむつ縦方向に移動し易くする観点から、おむつ縦方向に隣り合う接合部間の間隔は、その間に配する弾性部材24のおむつ縦方向の幅(弾性部材が断面円形の場合は弾性部材の直径)の2~100倍であることが好ましく、5~50倍であることがより好ましい。
また、延出部分伸縮部G3における弾性部材24は、端部固定部27及び吸収性本体側固定部28においてシート22,23間に固定するのに代えて、一対の端部固定部27,27のみにおいてシート22,23間に固定し、端部固定部27,27どうし間においてはシート22,23の何れにも固定しない形態とすることもできる。その場合にも同様の効果が得られる。
また、同様の観点から、腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21aの延出長さL5は、腹側外装体2Aの長さLaの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましく、背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bの延出長さL6は、背側外装体2Bの長さLbの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましい。
なお、延出部分21a,21bそれぞれの延出長さL5,L6は、10mm以上であることが好ましく、20mm以上であることがより好ましい。
幼児用のおむつの場合、延出部分21a,21bそれぞれの延出長さL5,L6は、10~100mmであることがより好ましく、更に好ましくは20~70mmである。成人用のおむつの場合、延出部分21a,21bそれぞれの延出長さL5,L6は、10~150mmであることがより好ましく、更に好ましくは20~100である。
また、背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bを腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21aより長くした形態のパンツ型吸収性物品においては、背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bのみに伸縮性を持たせることも、着用者の後ろ側のフィット性と外観が向上の観点から好ましい。
本実施態様の製造方法においては、図5に示すように、外層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート122と、内層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート123とを、両者間に弾性部材24を伸長状態で介在させた状態に重ね合わせる。両帯状シート122,123を重ね合わせる前には、図示しない接着剤塗工機で、帯状シート122及び/又は帯状シート123に、端部固定部27及び吸収性本体側固定部28形成用の接着剤を間欠的に塗工しておき、ニップロール90による加圧により、弾性部材24が、両固定部27,28において帯状シート122,123間に固定されるようにする。
次いで、弾性部材24が介在された状態で積層された両帯状シート122,123を、分割手段93により、2本の帯状シート102A,102Bに分割する。分割により生じた2本の帯状シート102A,102Bは、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bとして用いられる。腹側外装体連続体102Aは、概ね、複数個分のおむつ1の腹側外装体2Aが連続した構成を有し、背側外装体連続体102Bは、概ね、複数個分のおむつ1の背側外装体2Bが連続した構成を有している。
分割手段としては、シートを連続的に切断し得る各種公知の切断装置を用いることができ、例えば、シートの流れ方向の上流側にカッター刃を備えたものや、周面又は周縁部に環状の刃を有する円筒又は円盤状のカッター、レーザーカッター、高圧水流カッター等を用いることができる。分割手段により分割する方法は、加圧ロール91等の軸長方向の寸法を短くできる等の利点がある。
そして、サイドシール部4,4の形成後に、おむつ連続体101を公知の切断手段(図示せず)により、個々のおむつ1の寸法に切断する。これにより、上述した構成のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1が得られる。サイドシール部4,4は、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bそれぞれの全幅に亘らないように形成し、おむつ1の腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bに上述した延出部分21a,21bが形成されるようにする。
第2及び第3実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつについては、第1実施形態との相違点について主として説明し、同様の点については説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1実施形態と同様であり、第1実施形態についての説明を適宜適用可能である。以下の説明においては、第1実施形態のおむつの各構成要素等に付した符号と同一の符号を、第2及び第3実施形態における対応する構成要素等に付してある。
第2実施形態のおむつにおいても、ウエスト伸縮部G1、胴回り伸縮部G2及び延出部分伸縮部G3のそれぞれに、弾性部材24の収縮によって不規則な凹凸が形成されるが、第1実施形態のような中空構造は形成されない。
第3実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつは、例えば、図5に示す製造方法において、上述した構成の腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bを、吸収性本体3の配置工程部に供給する代わりに、特開2008-179128号公報等に記載の伸縮シートからなる2本の帯状シートを、同配置固定部に供給することにより得られる。伸縮シートは、弾性フィラメントの配向方向を流れ方向と一致させることが好ましい。
第4~第6実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつについては、第1実施形態との相違点について主として説明し、同様の点については説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1実施形態と同様であり、第1実施形態についての説明を適宜適用可能である。以下の説明においては、第1実施形態のおむつの各構成要素等に付した符号と同一の符号を、第4~第6実施形態における対応する構成要素等に付してある。
また、腹側外装体の延出部分21aにおける吸収性本体側固定部28は、図6に示すように、その全体が吸収性本体3と重なるように形成されており、延出部分伸縮部G3に伸長状態で配された弾性部材24が、吸収性本体3の側部と重なる部分においても腹側外装体2Aを構成するシート22,23を収縮させる。
延出部分伸縮部G3が、吸収性本体3の両側部、特に前記側部非固定領域3Sと重なる部分においても収縮するため、外装体2Aの下側が吸収性本体3の幅方向中央側(吸収性コア側)に、より引きつけられ、おむつの外観が一層良好となる。
より具体的に説明すると、第5実施形態における吸収性本体3は、その長手方向の両側部に、吸収体133の長手方向の両側縁それぞれより外方に位置し、股下部Cに側部ギャザー134c,134cを形成する側部シート部134,134を有している。
例えば、腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21a及び背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bの何れか一方のみが、吸収性本体3の両側縁3c,3cそれぞれより外方に位置する部分に、吸収性物品の横方向に伸縮性を有していても良い。
第6実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1Aについては、第1実施形態との相違点について主として説明し、同様の点については適宜説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1実施形態と同様であり、第1実施形態についての説明を適宜適用可能である。以下の説明においては、第1実施形態のおむつの各構成要素等に付した符号と同一の符号を、第6実施形態における対応する構成要素等に付してある。
なお、一対の側縁部2a,2aどうし及び一対の側縁部2b,2bどうしは、それぞれ互いに平行なものに代えて非平行なものであっても良く、例えば、腹側外装体2A又は背側外装体2Bの端縁部2dから端縁部2cに向かって、一対の側縁部間の距離が拡大したり、減少したり、一旦拡大した後に減少するもの、一旦減少した後に拡大するもの等であっても良い。
胴回り伸縮部G2及び背側延出部分伸縮部G4は、図12又は図13に示すように、吸収性本体3と重なる部分、特に吸収性本体3の幅方向中央部と重なる部分において伸縮性を発現しないように、おむつ1Aの左右に分割された状態に形成されている。
より具体的には、伸縮部G1,G2及びG4の何れにおいても、おむつ1Aの横方向(Y方向)に接合部26が間欠的に直列配置されてなる接合部列が、おむつ1Aの縦方向(X方向)に複数列形成されている。また、それらの接合部列における各接合部のY方向の位置も全ての接合部列において一致している。また、おむつ1Aの縦方向(X方向)に接合部26が直列配置されてなる縦接合部列も形成されており、該縦接合部列は、おむつ1Aの横方向(Y方向)に間隔をおいて複数列形成されている。
そして、伸縮部G1,G2及びG4の何れにおいても、複数本の弾性部材24が、それぞれ、縦方向に隣接する接合部26間を通るように配されている。また、各弾性部材24は、後述する端部固定部27又は吸収性本体側固定部28においてシート22,23間に固定されている一方、それ以外の部位においては、シート22,23の何れにも固定されていない。
腹側外装体2Aの胴回り伸縮部G2は、何れも、腹側外装体2Aの一方の側縁部に、外層シート22と内層シート23との間が接着剤を介して接合された端部固定部27を有しており、また、吸収性本体3の側縁3cの位置の近傍に、外層シート22と内層シート23との間が接着剤を介して接合された吸収性本体側固定部28を有している(図12参照)。胴回り伸縮部G2に配された弾性部材24は、端部固定部27と吸収性本体側固定部28のそれぞれにおいてシート22,23間に固定されている一方、端部固定部27と吸収性本体側固定部28との間においては、シート22,23の何れにも固定されていない。背側外装体2Bの胴回り伸縮部G2、及び背側延出部分伸縮部G4についても同様である(図13参照)。
弾性部材24は、線状接合部129と重ならないように配されている。隣接する線状接合部129間に弾性部材24を配する場合も、隣接する線状接合部129間の間隔が弾性部材24の幅や太さとの関係で狭すぎると、該弾性部材24がシート22,23間に実質的に固定されてしまう。そのため、弾性部材24とシート22,23との間にY方向のずれが生じ得るような間隔とすることが好ましい。
また、腹側延出部分伸縮部G3の側部部分G32には、おむつ1Aの縦方向(X方向)に接合部26が直列配置されてなる縦接合部列も形成されており、該縦接合部列は、おむつ1Aの横方向(Y方向)に間隔をおいて複数列形成されている。
しかも、腹側外装体2Aの腹側延出部分伸縮部G3には、弾性部材24、特に複数本の弾性部材24が、端部固定部27,27間の全域に亘ってシート22,23間に固定されない態様で配されているため、吸収性本体3の両側縁部それぞれの外方のみに弾性部材を配した場合や、弾性部材24を、吸収性本体側固定部28でシート22,23間に固定した状態に配した場合とは異なり、弾性部材24がその略全長に亘って収縮することにより得られる収縮量(弾性部材が短くなる長さ)を、線状接合部129の端部より外方、特に吸収性本体3の両側縁部それぞれより外方に位置する部分に効果的に作用させることができる。
従って、腹側部A側から見たときに、ふんどしのような外観を呈しない上に、延出部分21aが、めくれたり、ひらひらしたりせず、見栄えもよく、またモレへの不安感も与えにくい。
外層シート22の浮き防止、外層シート22の破け防止等の観点から、線状接合部129の長さは、少なくとも一本の長さ、好ましくは複数本それぞれの長さが、1mm以上、特に10mm以上であることが好ましい。また、線状接合部129は、少なくとも一本の長さ、好ましくはその複数本のそれぞれの長さが、吸収性本体3の幅(おむつ幅方向の長さ)を100%としたときに、150~5%の長さであることが好ましく、100~10%の長さであることがより好ましい。また、線状接合部129の幅(おむつ縦方向の寸法)は、0.5~10mm、特に1~5mmであることが好ましい。
なお、おむつ1Aにおける腹側延出部分伸縮部G3の中央部分G31は、内層シート23側の略全域が接着剤で吸収性本体3に接合されている。また、延出部分21aの中央部分G31において、内層シート23と外層シート22とは線状接合部129以外では接合されていない。
また、延出部分伸縮部G3,G4の伸縮応力が、着用時に、身体を締め付けるウエスト伸縮部G1や胴回り伸縮部G2の伸縮応力を更に強めるように機能し、身体へのフィット性が高まる。
そのため、おむつ1Aによれば、ウエスト開口部5やレッグ開口部6の締め付け力を過度に高めたりすることなく、優れたずれ落ち防止性が得られる。また、背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bによって臀部も適度に覆うことができ、臀部のはみ出しによる外観の悪化を防止することもできる。
また、線状接合部129の形成および端部固定部27,27以外で固定されていない弾性部材24の影響により、腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21aの伸縮性の方が背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bに比べて大きい。
また、同様の観点から、腹側外装体2Aの延出部分21aの延出長さL5は、腹側外装体2Aの長さLaの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましく、背側外装体2Bの延出部分21bの延出長さL6は、背側外装体2Bの長さLbの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましい。
なお、延出部分21a,21bの好ましい延出長さL5,L6やその理由、吸収性本体の構成等は、第1実施形態におけるのと同様である。
本実施態様の製造方法においても、図15に示すように、外層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート122と、内層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート123とを、両者間に弾性部材24を伸長状態で介在させた状態に重ね合わせる。両帯状シート122,123を重ね合わせる前には、図示しない接着剤塗工機で、帯状シート122及び/又は帯状シート123に、端部固定部27及び吸収性本体側固定部28形成用の接着剤を間欠的に塗工しておき、ニップロール90による加圧により、弾性部材24が、両固定部27,28において帯状シート122,123間に固定されるようにする。
以後の操作は、図5を参照して説明した第1実施形態のおむつの製造方法と同様である。
第7及び第8実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつについては、第6実施形態との相違点について主として説明し、同様の点については説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1及び/又は第6実施形態と同様である。以下の説明においては、第1及び/又は第6実施形態のおむつの各構成要素等に付した符号と同一の符号を、第7及び第8実施形態における対応する構成要素等に付してある。
この場合、延出部分21aの収縮した部分が、線状接合部129の端部の位置まで移動するが、その収縮した部分が、おむつ幅方向内側に入る程度が、ウエスト開口部5側から股下部C側に向かって大きくなるため、延出部分21aの側縁部が、ウエスト開口部5側から股下部C側に向かっておむつ幅方向内側に大きく入ることになる。
そのため、腹側部A側の脚回りの外観をハイレグ様の外観とすることができる。
例えば、腹側延出部分伸縮部G3の側部部分G32における接合部26は、平面視千鳥状のパターンで形成されていても良い。また、ウエスト伸縮部G1や胴回り伸縮部G2等は、全面的に接着された2枚のシート間に弾性部材が固定されているもの等であっても良い。
第9実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1Dについては、第1実施形態との相違点について主として説明し、同様の点については適宜説明を省略する。特に説明しない点は、第1実施形態と同様であり、第1実施形態についての説明を適宜適用可能である。以下の説明においては、第1実施形態のおむつの各構成要素等に付した符号と同一の符号を、第9実施形態における対応する構成要素等に付してある。
また、図18に示すように、腹側外装体2Aは、吸収性物品縦方向の長さLaが、サイドシール部4の同方向の長さL4より長く、該サイドシール部4より下方に延出する腹側延出部21aを有している。また、背側外装体2Bは、吸収性物品縦方向の長さLbが、サイドシール部4の長さL4より長く、該サイドシール部4より下方に延出する背側延出部21bを有している。
また、おむつ1Dの縦方向は、腹側部Aから股下部Cを経て背側部Bに亘る方向又はその逆方向(図18中X方向)であり、おむつ(吸収性物品)1の横方向は、その縦方向に直交する方向(図18中Y方向)である。
なお、一対の側縁部2b,2bどうしは、それぞれ互いに平行なものに代えて非平行なものであっても良く、例えば、腹側外装体2A又は背側外装体2Bの端縁部2dから端縁部2cに向かって、一対の側縁部間の距離が拡大したり、減少したり、一旦拡大した後に減少するもの、一旦減少した後に拡大するもの等であっても良い。
第1帯状伸縮域G20及び第2帯状伸縮域G30は、腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bのそれぞれにおいて、おむつ1Dの縦方向(X方向)における、吸収性本体3の長手方向の端部3a,3bの位置より股下部C側に形成されており、且つ第2帯状伸縮域G30は、第1帯状伸縮域G20より股下部C側に位置している。
ウエスト帯状伸縮域G10、第1帯状伸縮域G20及び第2帯状伸縮域G30は、何れも、弾性部材24の存在によって、おむつ1Dの横方向(Y方向)に伸縮する。
より具体的には、ウエスト帯状伸縮域G10,前記伸縮部G122,G122及び前記伸縮部G132,G132の何れにおいても、おむつ1Dの横方向(Y方向)に接合部26が直列配置されてなる横接合部列が、おむつ1Dの縦方向(X方向)に間隔をおいて複数列形成されている。また、それらの横接合部列における各接合部のY方向の位置も全ての接合部列において一致している。また、おむつ1Dの縦方向(X方向)に接合部26が直列配置されてなる縦接合部列も形成されており、該縦接合部列は、おむつ1Dの横方向(Y方向)に間隔をおいて複数列形成されている。
他方、非伸縮部G121,G131内に入り込んでいる弾性部材は、第1本体側固定部28,28間、又は第2本体側固定部229,229間において、少なくとも1箇所、好ましくは複数箇所において切断されており、非伸縮部G121,G131に伸縮性を付与していない。非伸縮部G121,G131における弾性部材は、シート22及び/又はシート23に、伸長状態が解除された状態で接着されていても良い。例えば、複数箇所で切断されて生じた切断片が、シート22又は23に弱く接着された状態で収縮していても良い。
そのため、例えば、第1帯状伸縮域G20においては、Y方向に収縮した際に体にフィットしおむつ1Dのズレを抑制しつつ、第2帯状領域G3においては、背側延出部21bがY方向に大きく収縮することを防止することができ、背側延出部21bのめくれを防止しながら、優れた臀部の被覆性を得ることができる。
第9実施形態のおむつ1Dにおいて、前記長さL2bは、前記長さL1bの105~200%、特に110~150%であることが好ましい。なお、図20に示す例においては、前記長さL1bが吸収性本体3の幅と略同じである一方、前記長さL2bが吸収性本体3の幅よりも長くなっている。前記長さL2bが吸収性本体3の幅よりも長いと、吸収体がY方向に縮むのを更に抑制し臀部側股間部の被覆性を得る事が出来、就寝の際の尿漏れ防止等が良好となる。
そのため、例えば、背側延出部21bについては、延出部21bのめくれや臀部の被覆性の低下を防止しながら、腹側延出部21aについては、おむつ横方向(Y方向)にある程度大きく収縮させて、腹側延出部21aを、図17に示すような、脚廻りに沿った形状に変形させることができ、フィット性が向上し、また体との隙間が減少する事でモレへの不安感を与えない。
より具体的には、腹側外装体2Aの第1帯状伸縮域G20と吸収性本体3との間は、第1本体側固定部28,28間の幅と略同幅に塗工された接着剤により接合されており、腹側外装体2Aの第2帯状伸縮域G30と吸収性本体3との間は、第2本体側固定部229,229間の幅と略同幅に塗工された接着剤により接合されている。
また、背側外装体2Bにおいて、第1及び第2帯状伸縮域G2,G3は、おむつ横方向(Y方向)における非伸縮部G121,G131の長さL1b,L2bの大小関係と、第1又は第2帯状伸縮域G2,G3と吸収性本体3との接合部の、おむつ横方向(Y方向)の長さの大小関係とが一致している。
この点については、後述する第10~第12実施形態においても同様である。
また、前記長さL2aは、前記長さL2bより短いことが、吸収性本体3がより股間部にフィットし吸収性能が向上する点から好ましい。
また、同様の観点から、腹側延出部21aの延出長さL5は、腹側外装体2Aの長さLaの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましく、背側外装体2Bの延出部21bの延出長さL6は、背側外装体2Bの長さLbの5~60%、特に20~40%であることが好ましい。
なお、延出部21a,21b(延出部分21a,21b)の好ましい延出長さL5,L6やその理由、吸収性本体の構成等は、第1実施形態におけるのと同様である。
本実施態様の製造方法においては、図25に示すように、外層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート122と、内層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート123とを、両者間に弾性部材24を伸長状態で介在させた状態に重ね合わせる。両帯状シート122,123を重ね合わせる前には、図示しない接着剤塗工機で、帯状シート122及び/又は帯状シート123に、端部固定部27並びに第1及び第2本体側固定部28,229形成用の接着剤を間欠的に塗工しておき、ニップロール90による加圧により、弾性部材24が、各固定部27,28,229において帯状シート122,123間に固定されるようにする。
この弾性部材24の切断工程で用いる凸ロール193は、腹側外装体2Aの第1帯状伸縮域G20の非伸縮部G121を形成する部分と第2帯状伸縮域G30の非伸縮部G131を形成する部分とで、ロール周方向における弾性部材24切断用の前記凸部の分布長さが異なる。また、背側外装体2Bの第1帯状伸縮域G20の非伸縮部G121を形成する部分と第2帯状伸縮域G30の非伸縮部G131を形成する部分とで、ロール周方向における弾性部材24切断用の前記凸部の分布長さ(ロールの周方向に沿って測定)が異なる。なお、接合部26の形成と、弾性部材24の切断は、同じロールを用いて行うこともできる。
分割により生じた2本の帯状シート102A,102Bは、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bとして用いられる。腹側外装体連続体102Aは、概ね、複数個分のおむつ1Dの腹側外装体2Aが連続した構成を有し、背側外装体連続体102Bは、概ね、複数個分のおむつ1Dの背側外装体2Bが連続した構成を有している。
そして、サイドシール部4,4の形成後に、おむつ連続体101を公知の切断手段(図示せず)により、個々のおむつ1Dの寸法に切断する。これにより、上述した構成のパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1Dが得られる。サイドシール部4,4は、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bそれぞれの全幅に亘らないように形成し、おむつ1Dの腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bに上述した腹側及び背側延出部21a,21bが形成されるようにする。
また、本実施態様の方法によれば、外装体形成用の帯状シート122,123から、レッグ開口部形成用のトリムを除去しないで製造することができるため、トリムの除去や再利用に必要な工程を不要として、効率的且つ経済的に製造することができる。また、トリムが生じないため環境にもやさしい。
本実施態様の製造方法は、上述した第1実施形態のおむつ1を連続的に製造する方法である。
但し、本実施態様で製造するおむつ1は、図26に示すように、腹側外装体2A及び/又は背側外装体2Bの下端付近の構成が、図3に示したものと若干異なっている。
本実施態様の製造方法においては、図5に示すように、外層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート122と、内層シートの原反である幅広の帯状シート123とを、両者間に複数本の弾性部材24を伸長状態で介在させた状態に重ね合わせる(重合工程)。両帯状シート122,123を重ね合わせる前には、図示しない接着剤塗工機で、帯状シート122及び/又は帯状シート123に、端部固定部27及び吸収性本体側固定部28形成用の接着剤を間欠的に塗工しておき、ニップロール90による加圧により、弾性部材24が、両固定部27,28において帯状シート122,123間に固定されるようにする。
接合部26の形成により両帯状シート122,123は部分的に接合される(接合工程)。接合部26の形成は、図27に示すように、重ね合わせた2枚の帯状シート122,123に、流れ方向(MD)に接合部24が直列状態に並んだ3本以上の接合部列が形成されるように行う。図27には、後に切断される切断線CL付近に形成された7本の接合部列L1~L7のみを示した。また、接合部26の形成は、図27に示すように、複数本の弾性部材24それぞれの両側に接合部列が位置するように行う。例えば、図27に示す例では、弾性部材24aの両側には接合部列L3と接合部列L4とを形成し、弾性部材24bの両側には接合部列L4と接合部列L5とを形成してある。
分割手段93としては、シートを連続的に切断し得る各種公知の切断装置を用いることができ、例えば、シートの流れ方向の上流側にカッター刃を備えたものや、周面又は周縁部に環状の刃を有する円筒又は円盤状のカッター、レーザーカッター、高圧水流カッター等を用いることができる。
図27に示す分割手段93は、MD方向と平行な回転軸を有する円盤状のカッターであり、周面に鋭利な刃を有している。複合シート100を挟んで円盤状のカッターの反対側には、表面平滑な受けロールが配置されている。円盤状カッターや受けロールは、モータ等により所定の速度で回転駆動されるものでも、複合シート100の搬送に従動して回転するものであっても良い。
吸収性本体固定工程及び該工程以後の工程は、上述したおむつ1の製造方法と同様である。なお、おむつ連続体101の切断は、サイドシール部4,4の形成と同時に行うこともできる。
例えば、上述した実施態様においては、サイドシール部4,4を、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bそれぞれの全幅に亘らないように形成し、おむつ1の腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bにサイドシール4,4より下方に延出する延出部分21a,21bを有するパンツ型使い捨ておむつ1を製造したが、サイドシール部4,4を、腹側外装体連続体102A及び背側外装体連続体102Bそれぞれの全幅に亘るように形成して、そのような延出部分21a,21bを有しない腹側外装体2A及び背側外装体2Bを備えたパンツ型使い捨ておむつを製造することもできる。
また、上述した実施態様においては、図27に示すように、帯状シート122,123に形成した接合部列L1~L7は、各接合部26のMD方向の位置が一致していたが、隣接する接合部列L1~L7で、接合部26の位置を半ピッチ分ずらして、全体として千鳥状に接合部26を形成することもできる。個々の接合部26の形状も、長方形の他、長円形、楕円形、円形、菱形等、任意の形状とすることができる。
上述した一の実施形態における説明省略部分及び一の実施形態のみが有する要件は、それぞれ他の実施形態に適宜適用することができ、また、各実施形態における要件は、適宜、実施形態間で相互に置換可能である。
例えば、図7及び図8に示した形態の吸収性本体を、第5実施形態以外の実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつの吸収性本体として用いることができる。また、第4発明のパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法を用いて、第1実施形態以外の実施形態のパンツ型使い捨ておむつを製造することもできる。
Claims (21)
- 着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体と、着用者の背側に配される背側外装体と、腹側外装体及び背側外装体に架け渡すように固定された吸収性本体とを具備し、腹側外装体と背側外装体の吸収性物品縦方向に沿う両側縁部に、腹側外装体と背側外装体とを接合して形成されたサイドシール部を有するパンツ型吸収性物品であって、
腹側外装体及び背側外装体は、それぞれ、吸収性物品縦方向の長さが横方向において均一であり、且つ吸収性物品縦方向の長さが前記サイドシール部の長さより長く、それぞれ、該サイドシール部より下方に延出する延出部分を有しており、
腹側外装体及び/又は背側外装体の前記延出部分における、前記吸収性本体の両側縁それぞれより外方に位置する部分が、吸収性物品の横方向に伸縮性を有している、パンツ型吸収性物品。 - 腹側外装体と背側外装体とは、前記延出部分の延出長さがほぼ等しい、請求項1記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側外装体及び背側外装体は、それぞれ、外層シートと該外層シートの内面側に配された内層シートと、両シート間に配された複数本の弾性部材とを備えており、
前記延出部分における前記伸縮性を有する伸縮部は、外層シートと内層シートとの間が多数の接合部で接合され、該接合部によって、吸収性物品縦方向に間欠的に配置されてなる縦接合部列を複数列形成されており、前記伸縮部に配置された複数本の弾性部材が、それぞれ、縦方向に隣り合う接合部間を通るように配されている、請求項1又は2記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。 - 腹側外装体の前記延出部分と吸収性本体の接合幅が、背側外装体の前記延出部分と該吸収体本体の接合幅に比べて小さい、請求項1~3の何れか記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 前記吸収性本体には、吸収性物品縦方向に沿う縁部に弾性部材が配置されており、前記延出部分において、該弾性部材が配置されている吸収性本体の縁部と腹側外装体及び/又は背側外装体とは接合されていない、請求項1~4の何れか記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体と、着用者の背側に配される背側外装体と、腹側外装体及び背側外装体に架け渡すように固定された吸収性本体とを具備し、腹側外装体と背側外装体の吸収性物品縦方向に沿う両側縁部に、腹側外装体と背側外装体とを接合して形成されたサイドシール部を有するパンツ型吸収性物品であって、
腹側外装体及び背側外装体は、それぞれ、吸収性物品縦方向の長さが前記サイドシール部の長さより長く、それぞれ、該サイドシール部より下方に延出する延出部分を有しており、
腹側外装体の前記延出部分においては、2枚のシート間に弾性部材が配されており、
その弾性部材の一本又は複数本は、腹側外装体の側縁部又はその近傍に設けられた端部固定部において前記2枚のシート間に固定されている一方、端部固定部間においては、該2枚のシートの何れにも固定されておらず、
腹側外装体の前記延出部分における吸収性本体と重なる部分に、前記2枚のシート間が接合された線状接合部が、吸収性物品幅方向に延びて形成されている、パンツ型吸収性物品。 - 前記線状接合部が、吸収性物品縦方向に間隔を開けて複数本形成されている、請求項6記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 複数の前記線状接合部は、着用時に下方に位置するものほど、吸収性物品横方向の長さが短くなっている、請求項7記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側外装体及び背側外装体は、それぞれ、前記延出部分の延出長さが、該サイドシール部の長さの5~150%である、請求項1~8の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体と、着用者の背側に配される背側外装体と、腹側及び背側外装体に架け渡して固定された吸収性本体とを具備し、腹側外装体と背側外装体とが環状に連結されているパンツ型吸収性物品であって、
腹側及び/又は背側外装体における、前記吸収性本体の長手方向の端部の位置より股下部側に、吸収性物品の横方向に伸縮する第1帯状伸縮域及びそれより股下部側に位置し、吸収性物品の横方向に伸縮する第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、
第1及び第2帯状伸縮域は、それぞれ、腹側又は背側の外装体を構成する2枚のシート間に弾性部材を伸長状態で配して形成され、且つ前記吸収性本体と重なる部分に該弾性部材の切断によって形成された非伸縮部を有しその両側に一対の伸縮部を有しており、
第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部と第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部とで、吸収性物品横方向の長さが異なる、パンツ型吸収性物品。 - 腹側外装体と背側外装体の、吸収性物品縦方向に沿う両側縁部どうしが接合されてサイドシール部が形成されており、腹側外装体及び背側外装体は、それぞれ、吸収性物品縦方向の長さが前記サイドシール部の長さより長く、それぞれ、該サイドシール部より下方に延出する延出部分を有しており、
前記第2帯状伸縮域は、前記延出部分に有している、請求項10記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。 - 背側外装体が、第1及び第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、背側外装体における、該第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、該第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより長い、請求項10記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側外装体も、前記第1及び第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、腹側外装体における、該第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、該第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより短い、請求項12記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側外装体も、前記第1及び第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、腹側外装体における、該第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、該第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより長い、請求項12記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側及び背側外装体が、それぞれ、前記第1及び第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、背側外装体においては、第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより短く、腹側外装体においては、第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより長い、請求項10記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側及び背側外装体が、それぞれ、前記第1及び第2帯状伸縮域を有しており、腹側及び背側外装体のそれぞれにおいて、第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さが、第1帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部の吸収性物品横方向の長さより短い、請求項10記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 腹側及び/又は背側外装体において、第1及び第2帯状伸縮域は、吸収性物品横方向における非伸縮部の長さの大小関係と、第1又は第2帯状伸縮域と吸収性本体との接合部の、吸収性物品横方向の長さの大小関係とが一致している、請求項10~16の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品。
- 前記請求項10~16の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法であって、
腹側及び背側外装体の原反である2枚の帯状シートを、両者間に弾性部材を介在させた状態に重ね合わせ、重ね合わせた両帯状シートを、周面に弾性部材切断用の凸部を有する凸ロールと該凸ロールに対向配置された他のロールとの間に導入して、該弾性部材を、腹側及び背側外装体の第1及び第2帯状伸縮域の非伸縮部に対応する部位で切断する弾性部材切断工程、及び弾性部材切断工程後に、前記両帯状シートを腹側外装体部分と背側外装体部分とに切断して分割する分割工程を具備する、パンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法。 - 請求項1~17の何れかに記載のパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法であって、
腹側外装体連続体と背側外装体連続体とを、両者間に所定の間隔を設けた状態て連続搬送しながら、腹側外装体連続体と背側外装体連続体とに吸収性本体を架け渡すように固定し、おむつ連続体を得る工程と、おむつ連続体を2つ折りする工程と、2つ折りしたおむつ連続体に、腹側外装体連続体及び背側外装体連続体それぞれの全幅に亘らないようにサイドシール部を形成する工程と、サイドシール部形成後のおむつ連続体を個々のおむつに分断する工程とを備えたパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法。 - 着用者の腹側に配される腹側外装体と、着用者の背側に配される背側外装体と、腹側外装体及び背側外装体に架け渡すように固定された吸収性本体とを具備し、腹側外装体の両側縁部と背側外装体の両側縁部とが接合されて一対のサイドシール部が形成されているパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法であって、
2枚の帯状シートを、複数本の弾性部材を介在させて重ね合わせる重合工程、重ね合わせた2枚の帯状シートに、流れ方向に接合部が直列状態に並んだ3本以上の接合部列が形成され且つ複数本の弾性部材それぞれの両側に接合部列が位置するように、接合部を形成して両帯状シートが部分的に接合された複合シートを得る接合工程、複合シートを、一つの接合部列を構成する複数個の接合部のそれぞれが流れ方向に交差する方向に2分されるように分割し、2本の細幅帯状シートを得る分割工程、2本の細幅帯状シートを、両者間に間隔を設けて連続搬送しながら、2本の細幅帯状シートに吸収性本体を架け渡すように固定して吸収性物品連続体を得る吸収性本体固定工程、吸収性物品連続体をその幅方向に2つ折りする2つ折り工程、及び、2つ折りした吸収性物品連続体にサイドシール部を形成し、該吸収性物品連続体を切断して個々のパンツ型吸収性物品を得る切断工程を具備する、パンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法。 - 重ね合わせた前記2枚の帯状シートを加圧し、前記吸収性本体を配置する部位に配された弾性部材を切断する工程を具備する、請求項20記載のパンツ型吸収性物品の製造方法。
